DeeLanParticipant
In the good ol’ Days there were stories that went on for years but they weren’t front and center every day. The big one was Bill being Mike Horton’s father.
DeeLanParticipantNo doubt about it, EJ is a looker. It’s the character I don’t care for.
DeeLanParticipantHe might have thought Melanie was Lawrence’s all this time.
DeeLanParticipantActually she’d be getting oxygen but she pillow wouldn’t let her exhale and it would trap the CO2 so she’d be rebreathing that and could be in trouble. It’s not always the lack of oxygen that causes the problems.
DeeLanParticipantI like that idea
If it does remain that Melanie is Daniel’s can you imagine how upset Victor will be. Carly the mother of his godson’s child. Vivian trying to kill his godson’s daughter. I think that’s worse than trying to kill his son’s wife.
DeeLanParticipantPrevuze has a photo today of a billboard saying "If You Don’t Already Know Sami’s Hide-a-Key is Above Her Door"

Anna tries to blackmail the Governor to get Nicole out of jail to save herself. http://www.dayscafe.com/buzz.html
DeeLanParticipantIf Anna were to stay around or if they have any plans for it this would be a good time for Roman to get in the picture. He still has feelings for her and we know she has for him. He could step up and stand behind her, get involved in hunting for the truth and prooving her innocence. Give him a SL a girl and everything.
DeeLanParticipantStephanie and Nathan might have worked out if they went slow, developed a friendship then went deeper but the rush is what makes it disgusting.
Bo and Hope were steady with her having a "crush" on an older boy. Chloe and Brady were slow. He was a friend and was there for support. It took a while for them to figure it out even though we knew they were meant to be together. Why can’t they get back to that.
DeeLanParticipantDon’t read further if you don’t want to knw..

Days Cafe says Carly tells Daniel he’s Melanie’s father this week. Daniel says he’ll keep the secret for now but will Chloe spill the beans.
February 23, 2010 at 1:27 am in reply to: Days #2 in the ratings for the first time since May 2004 #10751DeeLanParticipantPeople may continue to tune in right now waiting for the memorial to Frances Reid and Alice’s illness and death but I can see the numbers going down drastically after that.
DeeLanParticipantNickalous was closest to Aunt Viv.
DeeLanParticipantI’m from Chicago and hubby’s from Kansas City, MO. We’ve lived in Southeast Alabama going on 10 years. No pro teams here, it’s College all the way which neither of I can get into but most of people around here that are into pro ball are Fl fans. We’re both loyal to our the teams we grew up with and that will never change evern thouth he keeps TRYING to convert me over to the Chiefs it’s still ‘Da Bears’ Baby.
DeeLanParticipantI think those that aren’t knowledgeable about different religions will think that all religions have different doctrines and symbolisms to them. I remember a cousin’s wife was raised Pentecostol. When my brother died was the first time she’d been to a Catholic mass. She was shocked because she didn’t know Catholics believe in Jesus.
I wasn’t baptized until I was in high school. My dad was a non practicing Catholic, mom was Protestant and my brother was whatever he wanted. The parents felt it was up to us to decide. Growing up in Chicago there was a Catholic Church every few blocks, most of my friends were Catholic and I felt every religion was the same and most of the world was Catholic so "lets be Catholic" It wasn’t until I was 37 that I realized there was a difference and was saved. I now understand the differences in beliefs and symbolisms because I ask questions and read about different faiths and religions.
So, after my long speach here I’m thinking the powers that be at Days are portraying a generic religion using the symbolisms of the Catholic Church because they do have the most recognizible symbols, rituals and practices.
February 21, 2010 at 2:51 am in reply to: I thought Brian D. was supposed to be off the show by now… #10701DeeLanParticipantI know he said in an interview that they told him if he didn’t want to show up for his last day it was OK. He was going to but found he only had 1 line so he opted out of being there. That leads me to believe there really is no exit, he just won’t be seen or heard from again. Like they did Steve and Kayla. After he’s off screen for a while they might make mention of him going out of town.
