When I’d heard Princess Gina was coming back I was thinking they meant Hope’s alter ego not the real Princess Gina.
In Salem you don’t have to be pregnant and deliver to be a bio parent. Look at Kate and Roman with the Gemini Twins. Maggie with Dan, Kate/Vivian with Phillip, and I’m sure there are other’s I can’t think of right now.
I don’t think Austin’s the problem with the schedule but rather Carrie. She’s too busy trying to get her business of the ground and spending time with Rafe that she’s ignoring her husband.
I watched Touch but can’t decide if I like it or not. I was excited when I saw the previews but last night it seemed a bit disjointed until the end when everything came together and you saw how each story was affected by the other.
I’ll need to watch it a few times in March when it comes on to decide if it’s going to be a regular show for me or not.
Or at least have a character off screen for a couple of episodes with the explanation that they went to visit them. For example, why couldn’t Victor and Maggie go to Chicago for a long weekend to visit Phillip.
The last time Jennifer, Jack and Abby were on Abby left to go to college. Her and Chelsea were the same age. Chad was a year ahead of Will in school but wasn’t his birth certificate doctored so Stefano wouldn’t find out he was his father. That means Chad could be a couple years or more older than Will.
As John told Brady, Basic Black is focused on fashion so wouldn’t be competing with Mad World. They could use Mad World cosmetics exclusive in their fashion shoots though and give them credit in press releases, photo spreads and shows. I’m also thinking Basic Black had a magazine so they could list them in the magazine.
I see it as giving the viewers what they THINK they want. Look at some night time shows that are popular. Most sell sex and seduction. Is that really what the viewers want? I don’t think so but it’s all that we’re offered.
I read an article years ago witih Jackie Mason. He was banned after he appeared on Ed Sullivan and gave "the finger". Aparently Ed had a habit of standing backstage and would indicate to the performer how much time he had left by hand gestures and holding up different fingers. Jackie started using hand gestures and holding up fingers and when he held up his middle finger he was off. He said being a Rabi he had no idea what that gesture meant. He went on to say that entertaiment gives what they think people want and has to go farther and farther to shock. He used Madonna (at the time she was performing and her shows were getting much more explicit) as an example. People pay to see her show so for the next one she has to raise the shock value and people pay so she raises it a bit more. Once people stop paying to see it she’ll stop shocking. It’s the same with movies and television. If we stop paying to see them or stop watching altogether they’ll have to stop what they’re giving us. We all know that won’t happen.
