I think once the initial shock wears off he will start focusing on what he’ll do with the rest of his life.
When I was working in the ER one night we had a guy come in with a self inflicted gun shot to the head. He was a cop who’d had a heart attack and was relegated to a desk job. He was so devistated that his career as a cop as he wanted it was over that he would have rather died than work that desk. When he came in nobody could believe someone would be suicidal over being moved forced to move to a different position within the Chicago Police Department. He was after all still a a member of the CPD and was still a police officer. I’m seeing Daniel in the same situation. Being a surgeon is much more than being an internist, family practice or neurologist just as for that cop being at a desk was not the same as being a detective on the streets in the middle of the action. At least Daniel’s not suicidal.
If I’m remembering correctly wasn’t that Jave Cafe that was introduced years ago when Nicole first came to Salem and worked there. It was more of an outdoor cafe and everyone would stop there and get coffee and hot chocolate and it was in the outdoor shopping mall that Ballistx was in. Later they turned it into an indoor coffee shop but that may have always been there we just never saw it and later we only saw the inside of it.
Wasn’t he one of the McCleary brothers. I know one of them was played by David Forsyth who was John Hudson on Another World.
Before Kate knew Billie was her daughter she loaned Billie some money in return for Billie signing Countess W over to her. The last time Billie was in Salem she had an idea for a home security device and started her own business. When that business failed Victor offered her a job as head of Titan Security in London.
Yes but losing a job where you can still get another one in the same career, while devistating isn’t the same as not being able to do your chosen career ever. Think of a lawyer who gets disbarred. They can never practice law again but an accountant who gets fired is still an accountant and can still work in that profession.
I’d read that she’ll be focused on her career when she returns to Salem.
Didn’t she leave Salem to head up Titan’s security in London? If so wonder if she’ll be working against Kate or has she jumped ships and is now with Countess W the company that was hers before Kate took it away from her.
After working for 30 years with medical specialists, including surgeons I see it differently.
Being a pro athlete is a natural ability and they know their career is short lived and they could lose it at any time due to sports related injuries. A 10 year career for a pro athlete is a long one and they also know their career could be over after 1 season and 30 is considered old age. A pro athlete has to have a back-up plan for the time they can no longer play.
A surgeon sees this as their lifes work , they went to school for years to learn and hone their skill and only old age or voluntary retirement will end it. They have no back-up plans as they’re not needed.
Also even though being a surgeon is only one part of being a doctor if that’s where your heart is and you feel you do the best and can no loner do that it can be devistating.
I’d read that EJ turns the tables and threatens to expose Will as being gay.
The viewers suspected that Will was the actual shooter and that’s why Lucas confessed and refused a trial. The police just suspected the candy wrappers were because kids used that area as a hangout.

HOT! EJ suspects Will is gay but officially blackmails him about the shooting cos Lucas didn’t shoot EJ years back. It was WILL!
I think Bo and Hope have realized they don’t handle problems the same way and that’s why every problem that comes along whether large or small they separate. They need to learn how to communicate better and seeking professional help is the beginning to hopefully learn.
I removeable splint/cast is so much better than a traditional one.
I tripped over the vacuum cleaner cord last year and had 3 breaks in 4 bones in my foot. The ortho doc gave me a choice between a regular plaster (maybe they’re fiberglass now) cast or an air cast that I could remove for sleeping and showering. Being slightly claustrophobic and a diabetic I opted for the air cast and it was wonderful being able to take it off to air out my leg and foot and to scratch when I had an itch.
My nephews take Karate and they do their classes right in the front in full view of the window. The doors and rooms might be for different spa treatments such as facials, massages, etc…
Are we in the same family? I have a SIL & BIL the same way. Filed bankruptcy TWICE and are on their way there again. He makes close to $100,000 a year and they’re still behind on mortgage and other bills. YET SHE hasn’t worked in 30 years and complaining that she doesn’t qualify for SSDI, she gets her nails (gel or acrylic on both fingers and toes) done every few weeks, they go out to eat several times a week and she’s always showing us something new she bought.
I also think Will is thinking about the past.
Sami was in love with Lucas and divorced him to marry EJ, breaking up the family Will always wanted. It then came out that Sami was pregnant and EJ was the father.
Lucas was in prison and when he got out he went to Sami only to find her in bed with EJ. Later it comes out that Sami had a baby and EJ was the father.
After Sydney was kidnapped and returned Rafe was off trying to prove that EJ was responsible. Sami turned to EJ and was going to marry him. The wedding had started when Rafe came in and exposed EJ as the kidnapper.
For the last few years everytime Sami’s happy and Will is getting the family he never had Sami does something to destroy it and EJ’s the part of the reason.
