I actually liked Josh but Melanie was the so liked Chris Rene.

I like that little 13 year old but she had an off night.

Drew is getting on my nerves and Marcus reminds me of Will Smiths cousin on Fresh Prince of BelAire.  The one who sang Tom Jones songs.

Astro needs to go.  I felt his was NOT a tribute to Michael Jackson at all but him doing his own songs with references to Jackson songs thrown in.  I felt it was an insult for the dancers to have those scarves over their faces.  That was a Michael Jackson trademark but it represented an OCD side of him with his fear of germs and he was often ridiculed for it.  His children also had to cover their faces until the day he died.  That was not a part of him to be proud of.

I’m getting tired of the bantering, insults and name calling between the judges.  Nicole is obnoxious and remeinds me of Cara on AI. She’s always talking about when she was performing and the group she was with.  The Pussycat Dolls was a Las Vegas review that got popular and made a few albums and toured.  They rotated members much like Menudo use to do and even though Nicole was one of the best singers with them she wasn’t with them for long and the group continued without her.   Paula is just Paula and Simon will always be Simon.  LA is too stuffy and tries to appear above everyone else.

    That’s GREAT news.  Congratulations.

Similar thing happened to Don and I.

Don had a bleeding ulcer which was discovered before he was to have a gastric bypass.  He went for the follow-up a couple of months after treatment and they saw "something" and sent him to UAB hospital in Birmingham which was 3 hours away for a special colonoscopy.  Turns out it was nothing but scar tissue.

I have an adrenal gland tumor they discovered in 2000.   No surgery unless it causes problems or gets to 4cm and now it’s around 2-2.5.  I moved from Chicago to Alabama and the first CT scan I had here to check it the doc said I had a tumor on my kidney and was sending me to a urologist.  First I know a urologist is NOT for a kidney problem, I’d go to a nephrologist.  I picked up the report for the scan and it didn’t say anyting about the adrenal tumor so I called the hospital and spoke with radiology and had them re-read the scan. Same report so I called my doc and demanded to see him.  I told him I didn’t believe this was my scan and wanted it repeated at another facility.  He had another radiologist read it and he went to look at it.  Turns out it was the adrenal gland tumor.  In the mean time I sent the disc with the scan to my old boss at the hospital in Chicago and he had the radiologist there read the scan and compare to my old ones.  There was no change from previous scans to that one.

Sami went BACK to EJ’s after Johnny was home to talk to him about what happened.  She was crazy stupid of her.  I think this is going to be a repeat of Chloe and Phillip with them talking to each other constantly about nobody finding out what happened.  Say it once and get on with life because the more you keep talking the better the chance of someone overhearing.

My mom got married at 15 (1936), had my brother 2 years later when she was 17 (1938). I was born in 1957 when my mom was 37 and my brother was 19.  I always felt that my parents were my grandparents and my brother was my dad.  My friends and our neighbors thought that also.  Maybe I wouldn’t have felt that way if my brother wasn’t so much older.

When Don and I got married I was 46 and would have welcomed a baby but it didn’t happen.  Now I’m 53 and hadn’t hit menopause but just had a hysterectomy 2 months ago.  I went though a depression before the hysterectomy because without hitting menopause there was still a chance I could have gotten pregnant and the surgery meant that chance was being taken away but I was also relieved that I wasn’t going to get pregnant in my 50’s.

Not to mention she was pregnant again a few years ago and lost the baby.  That was when that Dr. played by Wayne Northrop was in town.

Yeah, I read that too.  Sounds like Will threatens to expose EJ and Sami’s affair so EJ retaliates by telling him if he does then he’ll go public with Will being gay.

BonBon……I have Guy Fieri’s (Diners Drive-In’s and Drives, Guy’s Big Bite, first Food Network Star) cookbook (Cookin It Livin It, Lovin It) and it tells a bit of his biography.  He started just like your grandson.  When he was little he’d cook meals for the family, often making hs own recipes and was good at it.  When he got older he started a restaurant with his friend and now has several in California that serve a lot of their own recipes.

I actually got the book to review http://whatsthatbuzz.myweeklybeef.com/2011/06/guy-fieri-food-cookin-it-livin-it-lovin.html and posted a couple of the recipes.  The garlic bread is excellent.

A lot of hotel rooms are equiped with a small microwave and refrigerator.  Swanson or Banquet come to mind.

Not to make light of all that’s happening but I keep thinking of something my cousin told my dad one time.  The outside’s well preserved, it’s the inside that’s rotting.

I have a different view of cousins and relationships.

Don and I met through one of my cousins and had a long distance relationship over the phone.  My cousin is the family geneologist and we found out his grandfather was my mother’s brother from his first marriage.  His family knew nothing of mine and mine never talked about my uncle’s first marriage.  His grandfather was the eldest of 13 kids and my mom was the the third youngest.  My brother was 19 when I was born so age wise I’m a generation apart from my cousins and my mom was a generation apart from her brother.  (his mother was born the year my parents got married and 2 years before my brother was born)

We were already engaged when we found out we were related and did extensive research on the legalities and also biblically of our relationship.  All but a few states allow cousins to marry and all but one allow second cousins.  A few allow the marriage if both are over a certain age or sign documents that no children would be produced.  Since we were both in our 40’s at the time we felt children would not be an issue.

I do have cousins once removed that I grew up with and wouldn’t even begin to think about a relationship with them because it would be too creepy but not knowing Don growing up and the ages we were when we met and found out there was a family tie it took a little time accepting but I see nothing wrong with it.

I think that’s why I was more accepting of Chelsea and Max or Dan and Jennifer since they didn’t know each other growing up and ad to that they’re not even related by blood.

I keep thinking of Steven Tyler and his feathers when he was on American Idol last season.

So sorry you’re going through this.

Never heard about 3 CT scans in a lifetime.  I get one every year to keep an eye on an adrenal gland tumor they found in 2000.  Some are with contrast and some not.

I’m so sorry.  They become your children.  When we lost Buddy, our 2 year old mini dachshund that was the first time I’d seen my husband cry.

I was wondering the same thing.   Set the scene in a way that it LOOKS like they did but MAYBE they really didn’t go all the way.  That way they can judge the viewers reaction and later have it come out that Sami feels guilty for thinking about it but stopped or have Sami guilty for actually doing the deed.
