I think when Carrie got together with Mike it was when Austin was involved with Gretta’s storyline and the garden of eden. He was never home or had time for her.
I’m just wondering where Austin gets off running to Sami and telling her about Rafe and Carrie talking and him driving her to the airport. Austin was always the trusting one, not judgemental and never spread gossip but here he is doing everything he’s never done before. Maybe he hasn’t forgotten about Carrie running off with Mike so many years ago.
I was thinking they just harvested the eggs and held on to them, much like they do with a woman who’s undergoing certain chemo treatments that might leave her infertile. They weren’t fertilized yet.
Marlena bought the apartment AFTER she sold the penthouse. This was when John was thought dead. After they moved to Switzerland Sami lived there for a while until a pipe burst and flooded the place. That’s when she had to move into the DiMera mansion until the pipes were fixed. She couldn’t move back into the apartment because Marlena decided to sell it. We never heard anything more about it until the night of the party and Marlena said she was glad it didn’t sell.
I agree. I think we’re jumping to conclusions that the storylines are going a certain way due to history but we’re really not given much information as to who, how and why which is good as it keeps us guessing and I’m hoping the ending to each storyline is going to be the total opposite of what we expect. As much as I like to read the spoilers I do like the not knowing every little detail which in the past you didn’t need to read as it was given to us and we had to see it over and over and over. There was no suspense just the feeling that it would never end.
I thought I heard Maggie say they harvested the eggs but the procedure was still so controversial. Then they had Sarah and saw her as a blessing. So, I’m figuring it was before she was the surrogate and gave birth to Sarah.
When Jennifer tells Abby that she reminds me of my grandmother. My grandfather left my grandmother and 10 kids and never looked back. He lived a few blocks from them with his wife and "new" kids. My mom told me my grandmother always told them that no matter what the problems were between her and their father they were to remember that he is their father and they are to treat him with respect.
I agree. I remember laying in bed with a heating pad, pillow on top of that and a book to hold it down. I’d get nauseated and couldn’t move for a couple of days. One day I was at work and was holding on to the nurses desk with white knuckles it was so bad.
I was diagnosed when I was 24 and on medication for it and my doc said I’d have no problems getting pregnant. I got divorced the following year and never thought about having problems with conceiving until I was in my 40’s and married Don. He had one daughter and didn’t want anymore but knew I always wanted kids and said he’d do it for me. I never did get pregnant and often wonder if it was from the endometriosis. Maybe if I’d gotten remarried sooner we’d have realized there was a problem sooner and something could have been done but I’m now 54 and just had a hysterectomy so that part of my life is over. When they did the hysterectomy they had to leave the left ovary due to scar tissue adhering the ovary to the colon and kidney and the scar tissue was most likely caused by the endometriosis.
I worked with a girl who had endometrosis but it was in her lungs. Some how the endometrial cells worked their way up and she had awful problems with it. In reading up on endomatriosis some can have it in the brain.
She sold the penthouse that John bought for her, the one with the staircase that she fell down when she was pregnant after returning to Salem with Roman. She bought an apartment and after they moved to Switzerland Sami stayed there until a pipe conveiently burst courtesy of the DiMera’s forcing her to move in the mansion with Johnny and Sydney. She couldn’t move back there after everything was fixed because Marlena was going to sell it and that’s the last we heard about it until Marlena said she was glad it didn’t sell.
Marlena sold the penthouse when John was missing or presumed dead and bought a smaller apartment. Sami lived there for a while after Marlena and John left.
