We started watching Terra Nova which to me was boring in the first couple of episodes but now it’s getting a bit better. Haven’t found anything else new yet that I like.
I’m giving Jack’s story a bit longer before I make a decision about it and him. Letting it fall into place and see if he grows and learns from what his family is telling him.
I’m giving these new writers some time with him also since the old writers wrote him into this type of character with his "walkabout" and they’re trying to figure out a way to bring him back and write him out of this mess without changing the history that’s already been established for him.
After I married Don there were no kids in the house but it was still hectic coming home and trying to fix a decent dinner. Thankfully he was home long before I was so he started doing the cooking. Some nights I’d put something together the night before (meatloaf, casserole, etc) with instructions on how long and how high to bake and he’d put it in the oven. It was so nice when I’d get home I’d have a hot homecooked meal waiting for me. Of course the crockpot came in mighty handy also.
I still use the crockpot even when I’m home all day because I can set it up after breakfast and not worry about it until it’s time to eat.
Melissa isn’t Maggie’s biological daughter, she was the daughter of Bob Anderson and his wife (Phyllis?). Mickey and Maggie took her in after her parents died and they later adopted.
I’m thinking Maggie might have had a child, or was pregnant and told the baby died before she met Mickey. She was also pregnant by Neil Curtis and gave birth to Sarah Horton, maybe she had twins and didn’t know it and one was taken away.
A lot of ways to go with this and I hope it isn’t a forgotten pregnancy on Maggie’s part but one where she thought the baby was dead, gave away for adoption or another reasonable explanation and not some far fetched, out there storyline.
I don’t see anything wrong with that story except that it’s another "woman has baby with no memory" But when Maggie was first introduced she wasn’t able to walk and I think it was the result of an accident she was in that killed her parents. Perhaps she was pregnant and they told her the baby died. Question, how would Alice know?
I did read that the letter or letters will mention Maggie and Daniel as well as a few others.
Jennifer went through this with Jack before when he was thought dead after the Melaswen fiasco. He was sick in some hospital and Patch found him. When Jack came back it was Jennifer and Frankies wedding.
Yes, this. I use to record and decide after reading the boards if it was something I wanted to watch and usually the answer is no. I can’t remember when I actually looked forward to watching the show without reading anything about it.
Yes, they were Kate and Romans biologically but Marlena carried and gave birth to them. Another one of Stefano’s plots and plans.
I still record and watch it later but I’m watching it the same day or even start watching when the show is half over so I can catch it all without commercials.
That’s wonderful. Friends of mine and her husband decided to foster. The first little girl they got was 4 months old and they ended up keeping and adopting her. Another friend and her husband wanted to foster. They got a brother and sister The youngest was about 1 or 2. They tried to transition them back to their mother but it never worked out so they ended up adopting them.
I went to grammar and high school with a guy who’s mother fostered dozens of kids. All the kids called her mom and came back to visit once they were out of the system. She ended up marrying the father of one of the foster kids.
I don’t know if I could foster as I wouldn’t be able to give them up when it was time.
She also worked at Titan. It was during the time Nicole came on and Eric was a photographer and they used Nicole as a model.
