That would be awesome. Nick was a favorite of mine until he went wacko but even then I liked the guy. His behavior could have been blamed on the concussion he had and any meds he might have been on after that explosion.
Since they’re getting rid of Dario I’d rather see Nick come back to pair up with Melanie than see her with Brady.
I watched yesterday’s show today and did notice the mask. That wasn’t an oxygen mask but the masks they use for CPAP, anesthesia as well as masks for ventilating a patient during CPR. The problem is, you need a tight seal and that requires having you hand(s) grasp the maks at the bottom close to the chin and pressing up. This holding the mask in place with 2 fingers is rediculous.
The reason they intubate during surgery is for 2 reasons. Easier to get the gasses down with less chance of inflating the stomach AND to protect the airway in case something happens such as vomiting and if the patient stops breathing or doesn’t start after surgery they don’t have to rush to get the tube down.
I have my own internal rage when I see things like this because most shows, especially medical ones have a medical consultant. A friend of mine was a nurse and she’d get upset when they’d have IV tubing hanging upside down.
Since I’ve been watching so long (Julie was a teen) I sometimes get multiple stories blending together. I find I do that in real life also.
Even if they did say upper, when they use the term quadrant then they’re talking about abdomen. If it was in the chest then they’d say upper left or lower left chest. If it was in her back they should have said flank the thoracic, lumbar or whatever region.
Where I worked we weren’t a Trauma Center but before they came out with those we saw our share of GSW’s and I being a respiratory therapist we were ALWAYS on the code team. That’s another thing I don’t understand and it’s not just Days, it’s any medical show. They’re doing CPR on a patient whether it’s on the patient floor the ER and the docs are doing chest compressions then they CALL for Respiratory. Sorry, but every hospital I worked at from large city to small town the docs rarely did compressions. Nurses or respiratory did those, respiratory always used the bag to ventilate the patient. We always had at least 4-5 nurses(1 on each side trying to start IV’s and/or push meds, 1 taking notes and the nurse in charge of the patient to answer any questions AND the nursing supervisor who was just there to make sure everyone was doing their job) and 2 respiratory therapists (2 from the code team and the one caring for the patient at the time but that one left when the code team arrived) in the room. The doc usually stood back and asked what the rhythm was, told us to check for pulses and what meds to push next. The ER was the only place a doc might have done compressions.
With the way John said "they’re just doing their job" when he was being taken away in cuffs leads me to think it’s a set-up. Maybe they arrest John to protect him from Stefano. But we all know he’d be safer in the alleys of Salem than police protection.

I’ve said for a long time they should have to work a certain amount of years to collect full pension just like the rest of us. This bull about being in for one term and getting the full pension is rediculous. The president should HAVE to serve 2 terms. If he runs a second and doesn’t get re-elected, to me it’s the same as getting fired. How many of us get full pensions after being fired. I think any politician should serve public office for 12 or 16 years before being receiving pension. It could be anything. Example for 12 years for full pension: Mayor for 4, governor for 4 then president for 1 term and if he chooses not to run again he’s eligable for pension but if he runs again and doesn’t get elected then he looses part of the pension. If he’s only in a public office for 4 years before running for president and gets elected then doesn’t run the second term or isn’t elected the second term no pension unless he serves in another capacity. This might make them do a better job while they’re in office in order to collect that pension.
For some reason my memory tells me Doug found her but now I’m thinking it’s because she was found in a tunnel that ran under the old Doug’s Place.
I was going to comment about the lack of surgical staff. Where’s the entire surgical team. Anesthesiologist, the numerous nurses and OR techs. Last time I had surgery there were about 5 or 6 people in the room as they put me under.
I swore the EMT said Maggie was shot in the lower left quadrant. I thought it was funny that she was laying on the right side. Great way to get the blood to pool and run out, she should have been on her stomach or on the other side with pressure on the entry site to stop the bleeding.
Agree he did inherit the situation as did the president before him and the one before that. I remember 20-30 years ago my parents were worried about Social Security and Medicare. There was talk that neither would be around when us baby boomers retired. Those in Washington went around with the "business as usual" attitudes, their heads in the sand and ignoring what needed to be done generations ago to prevent us from being in the situation we’re in now. It’s so easy to sit there and pass the buck thinking there’s no problem NOW so we’ll let those that come after us worry about it later. It would have been so easy to fix when it was just a projected problem.
If I remember Quinn found out about the first time and let her have it so since then she’s been doing the deed.
