I totally forgot about Abby. Either get rid of her or get us one that’s not so opinionated and more like the one we fell in love with.
I just saw previews for Franklin & Bash yesterday and it’s on my "gotta check it out" list. I didn’t know it was on already. They said Wednesdays but I did see they were showing the pilot tonight and tomorrow and I’ve got it set to record in case I forget.
If they can’t come up with something for Chloe other than the perpetual victim with the puppy dog eyes I say let her go to.
Since they’re getting rid of Higley and bringing in new writers who’s work we’ll see around September they might be able to write for them. It’s the current head writer who I blame for the cartoonish return of Vivian.
I think the area they’re in also has a lot to do with what they do, not laws and regulations but opportunity. In a large city you’ve got doctors and specialists coming out the wazoo but in a small town or rural area not so much and the docs that are here are so overwhelmed that a NP has more of an opportunity to work independently.
When I worked in Chicago one of the large orthopedic practices had a nurse practitioner and after they did surgery she’d be the one to follow-up with the patients, write all orders and discharge. When I moved to Alabama there are CRNP (Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner) offices all over. Some are in with MD’s and some are free standing. They can see and treat patients. Admit to hospitals and do pretty much anything a doc does but do need an MD to answer to. A lot of the patients like the CRNP’s better than the docs as they feel they have more time for them and actually listen.
Read in an article this morning that Scotty wants Lauren to do some duets with him on his first album He said they met the first day in Hollywood and have been friends ever since and they sound good together.
Don just read that his first priority is one more class to get his H.S. diploma. I guess he’s got his head on straight and knows he’ll need that if his career doesn’t take off. He said he left Garner, N.C. as Scotty and he’s still Scotty.
They didn’t say but I got the impression they’re scripts that were written but not filmed yet. I could be wrong as I’m not sure how far in advance they write before they film.
I think the less that know the more of a chance of a slip up. Plus if they act like he’s the old Rafe then the DiMera’s will get more suspicious.
I felt the same way about Lady Gaga. At first with that thing on her head I thought she looked like a lamp in a bordello. Then when the camera when back and she was laying down with that guy stradling her I got sick. The best part of that performance was when they jumped off the platform they were on.
As Jennifer was dancing I asked Don how Marc could be comfortable with his wife dancing like that. His response; "they get paid good money to do it". I guess but I don’t really know how any man would be OK with other guys looking at his wife dressed like that and moving like she did. I loved their kiss at the end.
This was the BEST finale so far. Usually we turn it on but find other things to do and only watch the last few minutes when they announce the winner but not this year. The guest they had were decent and the contestants were great. I even liked the group numbers. I’m so glad Scotty won. Did you hear him say he and Lauren auditioned together and they’ve been together throughout the competition and will stay together. Then when he was singing and hugging the contestants and he got to Lauren he said I Love You Baby. Maybe it’s the closeness in their ages but it seems they really became good friends and do care for each other. They also sing great together so I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t record a duet at some time.
Usually for the 2 hour finale we have it on but do other things and only watch when the winner is announced. Don’ care for the entertainment. Even during the regular shows when they have guest performers I usually use that time to let the dogs out or go to the bathroom.
