I’d even enjoy the show if it was on once or twice a week.  Who says daytime programing has to be a Mon-Fri show.  Right now you get a storyline and maybe get to see part of the storyline for 10-15 minutes an episode every other day wth few exceptions like the Colleen/Santo one.  Sami shot Rafe and the next day they show the after math and when was looking for the continuation I had to sit through an episode without them.  Yeah, some complain they show the same characters every day but the good storylines they show every 2-3 days.  I guess it’s to keep us tuned in daily with the hopes of seeing them.  That’s where we get disgusted and tune out again.  Maybe they need to look not at the weekly numbers but at the daily and they’ll see which characters are bringing in the most viewers.  With the previews at the end of each episode, the spoilers and days ahead posts we know whether we want to watch or not and I’m sure there are many like me who only watch when my favorite storyline or characters will be front and center.

I’d read he might be a long lost half brother.  Just wondering what the dynamics with Alan will be since part of the success of the show as Alan’s anal retentive behavior and Charley’s lacksadisical attitude

I know he was on when Peter Blake was on and marrying Jennifer.  It was Missy’s Jennifer that Peter "killed" and they had her as portray an angel during her funeral to trap Peter and arrest him. If I’m not mistaken Mark Valley was still Jack at that time.

He’s so right.  Look at nighttime TV.  They have a few main characters and maybe bring in extras or guest stars periodically but it’s always the same core characters.  Desparate Housewives, ER was great and they usually brought in new characters when a vetaran wanted to leave. Greys Anatomy has brought in new characters but the core characters are front and center.  Daytime should go BACK to the begining and have 1-2 main families.  When Days first started it was The Hortons and the extended families.  Now it seems to be The Bradys who are the largest group so focus on them and their extended families but STOP with entire new families coming to Salem

I’m sad for James but he’s actually better off leaving at this point as he’s got less of a contract with AI then the last 3 and they have less than the winner.  He can go make the music he wants and use his artistic ability to do it the way he wants or at least have more of an imput than he would under their thumb.   I think Haley deserved to be in the top 4 but she was the one that should have gone home BEFORE any of the others.  She’s too inconsistent and has proven that week after week and even the last few nights with multiple songs she does 1 poorly and knocks the other out of the park.  Scotty and James have been great each week.

I haven’t watched the show in months but haven’t missed an episode in the last week.

They’re both stubborn people but Maggie is the one who seems to understand and tolerate people better than Victor.

I’m thinking when what the DiMera’s did to Rafe comes out John might come back to help out.  After all, he was Stefano’s pawn for years, he’s had his memory erased by that man twice and he might be able to help Sami and Rafe with the after math and getting their life back on track.  Who knows he might even come back as ISA and work the case from that angle.

I’m not saying Haley was right in her reaction.  You could see her disgust all over her face and in her tone when she did speak.  She needs to be a bit more respectful of the judges and those that are giving her this break but I Randy did come across as mean in what he said.  Yes, he was right but the way he and Jennifer kept hammering at it was a bit too much.  Say it once and get over it.  When Steven tried to speak and say she was good Randy kept interrupting and repeating how much he hated it.

    I agree on all counts.

I hope they take it slow with Sami and Rafe and him getting his memories back but not as long as it took for John.

Loved Brady today first with Nicole then telling Victor he was just like him and Victor realizing he’s right.  Victor is beginning to realize how those he cares about view him and it’s not pretty.  I don’t want Victor to change completely but to be a bit more forgiving and bendable where Maggie is concerned would be great.

Randy and Jennifer were too critical of Haley and Randy was just mean.  It’s like he’s trying to take Simon’s place and failng.  Steven tried to soften it a bit by telling her not to listen to them.  The standing ovation they gave her was too too obvious.  Don and I have a theory that they want the other’s in the top 3 and were throwing Haley under the bus to try to sway the votes.   They’ve done it before with all the pimping they did with Adam lambert and Kara went as far as to call him a "rock god".  The problem is the voters dont’ like that and it has backfired on them in the past, again think Adam Lambert.

I read on Days Cafe that Rafe is bothered when he finds out Sami slept with R2 and needs some space but when he starts to remember the woman he fell in love with all is quickly forgiven.

I think her heart is telling her which one is the real Rafe but her head is saying "what if you’re wrong".

You can outgrow and develop new allergies all the time.  A friend of mine had allergy testing and she was allergic to chicken, lettuce and many other foods.  About 10 years later she was having problems again and they retested.  No longer allergic to chicken and lettuce but is now allergic to beef and corn.

If you’ve never had a certain food you don’t know you’re allergic.

A bunch of us (8 Respiratory Therapists) went to Benihana’s a Japanese restaurant in Chicago where they cook the food in front of you.  One girl in our group started complaining that her lips were tingling.  She looked fine so we went on with our meal.  When she continued to complain another girl gave her a Benadryl and another gave her a prescription allergy med.  We kept on eating, talking and laughing and then she was complaining her throat was sore.  She went out to get some fresh air and we still kept eating, talking and laughing.  When dessert arrived she was in the bathroom and a couple of us went in and she was one huge welt.  We decided we’d better get out of there and take her to the closest ER where she spent the night on IV steroids.

Found out later she had a shrimp allergy and the fried rice appetizer had shrimp in it.  She’d never had shrimp before but did say she tasted a little of her husband’s the last time they were there and her lips itched later that evening but never thought it was the shrimp that caused it.
