It actually depends on what caused the enlarged heart. An enlarged heart is a symptom of something else not a disease in itself. If the heart is overworked from something like pregnancy then it can go away or back to normal but if it’s been going on for a while in high blood pressure then it might not. Also if it’s another medical condition that caused the enlargement that would be more of a problem than the enlarged heart.
The tube goes down past the vocal chords and there’s a balloon on the end that gets inflated to keep the air from going past the vocal chords so if everything is done correctly there’s no way for air to go past the chords to make any type of sound.
I still remember a patient we had that had severe COPD. She’d come in every few months in respiratory and cardiac arrest but as soon as we’d get that tube down her throat and on a ventilator she’d wake up and smile at us. We eventually learned if it was baseball season and her favorite team was playing we had to take her off the ventilator during the games. If we didn’t she’d try to scream and the pressure of that air against the machine caused the alarms to go off constantly When off the ventilator she still had the tube and we’d see her mouth open and the look on her face as she was yelling and cheering but NO sound whatsoever would be coming out and this was a woman giving it her all to yell.
I agree. Homophobic is such negative feelings and attitudes toward anyone who’s gay, bi, trangendered gay and afraid to be around them. I don’t see anyone here having that type of attitude. I mean you can like the person while not approving of their lifestyle or behavior. I’ve got a niece who’s literally a crack whore and even though I don’t want her friends around me she’s still welcome in my home as long as she keeps her business out of my face and off my property.
Right, I just remember when they announced they were replacing the actor there was some speculation floating around that the previous actor might have refused ot play a gay character so he quit but nothing definate was said.
I like that she recognizes that Sami was raped by this guy and EJ’s to blame just as much as he was in 2006. She also admits that Sami is guilty of attempted murder. After reading her take on the whole thing and what she perceives Sami to be thinking my interest in this story has increased a bit.
I don’t know if anyone said he looked or acted gay but it was rumored that it would be revealed that Will was gay was floating around when the old actor portrayed him before he went to stay with Carrie and Austin. Everyone thought the reason they changed actors was because of this storyline so I really think the writers had it in their outline for the character for the past couple of years but had to mature him before it could happen. It was also suggested that the old actor left because he wouldn’t/couldn’t play a gay character.
Yes. I’d read that in an interview with Suzanne Rogers when they were talking about the music at Doug’s Place and Blondies and how it’s so different now with the high cost of royalties. But there are a lot of songs that are public domain I’m sure they could find some old ones or little heard ones that would fit into the show just as well.
Remember the time when there were theme songs for different couples.

If they do it right and make it a gradual realization on his part. Let us see his confusion and struggle as well as those who care for him trying to come to terms with it then it might be a good story. I just hope they don’t suddenly have him wake up realizing he’s gay with no repercussions or have his struggle and conversations with those around him happen off camera. Then that would be a disservice to the viewers. And please don’t suddenly have his whole personality change and end up dressing like, walking like and talking like Chris or Richard Simmons.
I dated a guy in high school who was gay. He was in denial himself so he wasnt’ deliberately trying to fool anyone into thinking he was straight. After we broke up he dated my best friend and when he finally admitted that things just weren’t right he tried to come out and tell his friends but they pretty much told him "I wouldn’t want a homo near me", he kept his mouth shut. I don’t think it’s unusual for someone of Will’s age not to have come to terms with his sexuality yet. Heck, some guys try to convince themselves they’re straight that they marry and have kids before finally accepting who they really are.
I agree about Naima. I liked her take on the song but that fake Jamican accent was wrong. I realize that’s her heritage but it’s not her and didn’t sound like her.
Jacob makes everything sound like a gospel song and as the producer told him he’s got to stay away from the theatrics and he just can’t. The way he contorts his mouth and looks like he’s going to cry during and after each performance I don’t know if he’d be able to last through a 2 hour concert. The guys also got to unbotton his blazer, it looks like it’s too small the way it pulls across the middle and back and puckers above the buttons. Either that or get a new tailor.
Pia has a great voice but I felt she told the judges "up yours" when she said she knew they told her not to do another ballad but she’ll take their advice next week.
As far as Thia playing it safe. That’s the judges that keep saying that and I’m not sure how many voters are going to feel that way, they vote for what they like not playing it safe or taking risks.
Scotty and James were excellent as usual.
I didn’t like Paul and Jacob. Both have got to go as far as I’m concerned. Paul looked like he was in pain and at one point he looked like Yakov Smirnoff

Paul McDonaldNicole wanted to be a hot shot at Titan and loved Victor’s money so she seduced and married him. He knew what she was up to and she realized she’d made a mistake marrying him but wanted the money so she tried to kill him. If I remember she got Jan Spears to help. That’s when Victor was presumed dead but really on that Melaswen with the people that were killed by the salem slasher. When he was presumed dead is when Nicole and Brady got close and she gave Chloe that flesh eating bacteria.
Nicole’s father got her into porn and pretty much prostituted her. He was also abusive and Nicole blamed her mother for not recognizing what was going on and allowing that to happen. When Nicole came to Salem she was working at the Jave Cafe or some other coffee shop at Salem Place and Eric Brady was infatuated with her. She tried to hide her past as a porn star from him but it eventually came out. Lucas also had a crush on Nicole but she only had eyes for Eric until Kate paid her $5 million to marry Lucas. About that time Taylor came to Salem and was working as a cleaning person at Titan and Nicole was working there (not sure if it was when she was with Lucas, Victor or when she was a model) and was verbally abusive toward Taylor which nobody could figure out why. Eric took an interest in Taylor which really bugged Nicole since she still had feelings for him herself. I do remember Taylor was going to school for physical therapy and Lucas broke his leg and Kate hired her to care for Lucas.
I never understood why Nicole was loving toward Brandon but no Taylor until she explained it to Taylor that she was the only one that escaped their father’s physical and mental abuse and she was very bitter about that.
