If you remember though the Nick who came to Salem as a likeable person was not the same Nick who went to prison. That Nick was controlling, obsessive and dangerous.
I honestly think that was not the pills he was on but the beginnings of mental illness. He’s the same way now, only 10 times worse and able to hide it from some. I think he’s following in his mother’s footsteps and needs help.
His homophobia is probably related to an event in prison but I’m thinking he’s gay and embarrassed so that’s why he’s got a problem with Will and Sony. He might not have been raped but might have been the rapist. Of course these are just my thoughts coming out.
Don goes to the AI forums and there’s a lot on there who think there were better performers who didn’t make it through. Their opinion is they picked the ones who are "Reality TV" worthy like Zoamette.
I do agree there’s no versatility to the styles and they all sound the same. Maybe it’s song choice since they all seemed to sing ballads with the exception of Zoamette who thought she was a cross between Fantasia and Tina Turner and fell flat on both and there was another one (don’t remember her name) who had a slight jazzy sound to her.
When Nick killed Trent and did what he did to Melanie everyone thought it was the meds he was taking. There was also speculation that he might have mental illness since it runs in his family (Jessica Fallon had a split personality). Everyone also thought once he got off the pills and out of prison he’d be back to the "old" Nick who was soft spoken and geeky but we’re seeing the opposite.
I don’t think it was the meds that caused his personality change because he’s following the same behavior that he had with Melanie. Posessive, domineering, controlling and threatening to those he feels are in his way or a threat to his love which right now is Gabi.
I don’t think anything in prison is the cause for his personality problems but he really has a true mental illness and until it’s recognized and treated properly he won’t be stopped. I am thinking he may be gay and that’s why he’s so hostile to Will. The guy who attacked him in prison did it in retaliation for Nick putting the moves on and possibly raping him.
Wouldn’t those papers be thrown out in court? I mean Will was blackmailed into signing them and he has a lot of witnesses including Nick’s lawyer or notary or whatever that guy was.

I see it as Lucas being Lucas but also having a problem with Daniel and blaming him for the affair with Chloe.
True. I was coordinator of PEDS, NICU and Mother/Baby and often treated kids in the ER. Where I worked a parent was required to stay with the child in the ER unless they were trying to start an IV or other work that they either didn’t want the parent intruding on or needed room to move.
Agree. She was saying and acting one way but when they got close she pulled back and he couldn’t figure out what was going on.
I use to love when the shows ended with a cliffhanger every day and picked it up the next. Made it so you couldn’t wait until it was on again to see what was going to happen In the last 15+ years you could miss an entire week and not miss anything.
I don’t see the group night as them looking for that perfect performance but rather how they do under the pressure but more how well they can work with other people and most importantly people with personalities that clash with theirs. As one of the judges pointed out last night, if they make it then they’re going to have to work with all types of people so they’d better start now.
