I was thinking the same thing. It would be a minor character like Rita, Arnold or Rachel Blake. Perhaps Rita and Rachel together. Rita was responsible for making Rachel “disappear” per EJs orders. Perhaps she just hid her away temporarily until the two of them could shoot EJ.

Maybe they’ll leave together as a couple!

I like your idea of Johnny and Chanel adopting Joy’s baby but she would have to leave Salem, yeah, for nine months and arrange for a private adoption. She would also have to keep the pregnancy a secret from Nancy. I imagine if Nancy were involved she’d want her to keep the baby.
I don’t see her having an abortion as Jada did. The purpose of that story was the impact on Eric who desperately wanted a child of his own. If Joy has an abortion I don’t see a follow up story, only a situation with a suitable ending for Stef, Alex, and Joy.

I think Aaron is the father, not Tate. With Teresa back, the truth will come out. I’m rooting for her to get to the bottom of this. I wonder if Sophia is aware of the real father and if Amy is in on it?

I was hoping Joy went to LA with Body and Soul….. Now she might be pregnant with Alex’s baby. Not what I was hoping for as a storyline.

That’s good news. Now they’ll have to find jobs for the cast. That should be interesting.

I was also thinking about the lack of security at Bayview. I think the Whitley story was just an attempt to end Body and Soul quickly, therefore the pathetic dialog and story. Anyway, let’s hope this is the case.

It seems like some scenes are just time fillers. Enough with Chanel having the same conversation about Johnny with Paulina and Stephanie and others. I’m ready for stories to move along. After Sean talked some sense into Chanel, perhaps that one will wrap up in the next day or two.

Also, I hope fake Rafe wraps up early next week and that Jada and real Rafe do get married.

What is going on with Marlena and Leo? They seem to have moved beyond doctor/patient into friends. I’m surprised Dr Marlena Evans let this happen.

I saw an article online about the actor who plays Kerry. He was growing his hair to donate to Locks of Love. He has now cut it and he looks totally different. His brother was hit by a drunk driver and he died. Kerry made the hair donation in honor of his brother who was doing the same at the time of his death.

What a thoughtful guy in real life playing such a creep on Days.

Yes, please put on a shirt Javi! Is his story going somewhere or is he just in Salem for Leo’s sake? The character I can’t stand is Kerry. He’s creepy looking with his long hair and obnoxious. The way he put down Leo and spoke to Jada when she questioned him was really annoying. He had an answer for everything she said about detaining him. I wonder what his background is or did he learn all this off the internet.

They lead us to believe that Salem is near Chicago but still refer to it as Salem, USA, LOL. I think she and Tate are going for a check up and ultrasound this week.
There’s got to be some glitch in her story-I can’t imagine her marrying Tate, having the baby and living happily ever after.

Also I can’t believe how dumb Brady is acting by not insisting on a paternity test. Tate keeps saying we were careful, that should be a clue to get the test. Of course this is Salem, so you can’t always believe the results. Mama Teresa would insist on a test.

I had a suspicion that Johnny and Joy didn’t do the deed since they kept talking around it. It was poor writing to have Johnny all of a sudden think he saw Alex with Chanel. About two minutes before that they were a solid couple. Makes no sense, seems out of character for Johnny not to trust his wife and then take up with a stranger in a bar. What was the purpose of this entire story? Just to break up J and C?

I hope they put an interesting spin on the faux Rafe story and not have us watch the real Rafe sit in the basement for weeks. Keep it moving.

I’m looking forward to the Philip/forgery story. Glad Stef knows and looks like she’s going to tell Sarah unless she gets interrupted first.

Do you think Aaron is the father of Sophia’s baby?

I agree with all that’s been said. I don’t trust him and tend to believe Hope and Jennifer’s instincts. It’s too coincidental that his name is Doug Williams and he’s been released from jail, just like his supposed grandfather. However, he hasn’t learned anything from his experience since he right away steals the necklace.

Now that Ciara opened the box, it’s leading to another story. I’m glad Days didn’t ignore the box. Maybe a few more stories will originate from its contents.

Friday’s show was sooo sad. Susan Seaforth Hayes did an amazing job especially considering it was just a few months after Bill’s death. All the actors had tears at one point or another. It was a heartfelt show with all of Julie’s family and friends gathering around her.

Spoiler: did the ending have deeper meaning with Beau moving his finger while holding Hope’s hand. Was Doug’s death the beginning of Beau’s recovery? It seems like a story that Days would do.

Excellent show Friday – one of the best.

I watched the Thanksgiving day show. The sad part was at the very end for only a short scene. I imagine today will be the really sad part as they come to grips with Doug’s passing.
