Zodiacpisces I don’t understand what you’re complaining about in your initial post. Days celebrated Maggie’s anniversary as close to Aug 20 as possible. Since Aug 20 is a Sunday this year they aired the anniversary on Friday Aug 18. If that bothers you, watch it on Peacock on August 20.
Personally, I think the tribute to Maggie was nicely done. Having it coincide with Victor’s death was odd, but reminiscing with Julie was impactful.
John Anniston died in real life. Days isn’t going to replace Victor. I don’t believe there’s going to be a story about Victor being taken hostage. He went to see Bo, even if he took a side trip to see Phillip it doesn’t matter. The plane crashed and Victor died. That’s it. I hope there’s a tasteful funeral for Victor
that the fans get to see.At some future time Days might explain the cause of the plane crash, but not now. The focus is on Victor/John Anniston.
It is kind of odd on the surface that Suzanne Rogers 50th Anniversary playing Maggie is the same week of Victors passing. I imagine Days will tastefully handle both events so they each get the attention they deserve.
I think you’re right about why Maggie will want Xander to know about his child.
I wonder who will tell Xander: Maggie or Sarah. I think Maggie will feel like it’s not her place to tell Xander, but if Sarah doesn’t do it in a reasonable amount of time she will tell Xander herself. Of course there is always loose lips Bonnie who may “accidentally” let it slip.I read that the week of Aug 14 is when the events around Victor’s death will happen as well as a celebration of Suzanne Rogers playing Maggie for 50 years.
First of all, these are only spoilers that are online. We’ll just have to watch the show to see what happens.
Second, when Victor was still on the show they portrayed him mentally sharp and didn’t bring up his declining health.
Third, if Victor is on a plane, it’s the Titan jet, not some crowded commercial airline. The Titan jet can be outfitted to accommodate Victor if needed.

The thinking is this lets him go with dignity and as the strong character he is.It could be possible that Leo in Tripps bed is a dream Leo had????
If not, it’s probably some off the wall, crazy reason.I also would like Nicole’s baby to be EJs. It is refreshing to see Nicole and EJ together and I’d like it to continue. Could be the basis for some fresh, interesting, different stories.
I’m tired of Eric and Nicole with the on again off again relationship.
