Hair, nails, and clothing aren’t the focal point of the story. However, comments regarding hair, nails and clothing aren’t off limits. Kate with the gorgeous manicure while cutting fish was humerus. I’ve seen people post on this board about a gorgeous outfit a character is wearing. If you don’t want to participate in those discussion topics, you don’t have to, but others might enjoy it.
The Leo Colin interaction was confusing to me also. It came out of the blue with no visible purpose. Maybe in future episodes it’ll have some significant purpose.
Good question: why didn’t Colin try to silence Leo in some way? My guess is maybe Colin just wanted to get away and not be bothered by a hostage or harming someone.
Question: any idea who this nurse is who kidnapped Abe and is pretending to be Paulina?
Talking about a real life actress’s characteristics is off limits. However, talking about a FICTIONAL CHARACTER’s nails, hair, clothing choices is ok. It’s part of the story.
Sloan has an ethical dilemma: should she honor her agreement with Eric not to keep anything from him OR should she honor her promise to Nicole and keep her pregnancy secret.
Also, it raises the question if Nicole’s pregnancy is Sloan’s news to share. Perhaps she should tell Eric that she has some information but it’s not her place to share it and he will find out soon enough anyway.
Gabi and Stefan lost for the years she thought Stefan was dead. Who knows if they will win control of DiMera again. With new DiMeras entering the story, who knows who will run the company. EJ will have his work and plotting cut out for him. I take it you’re not a Gabi/Stefan fan.
James Scott left Days years ago. I don’t remember why, but that was the actor’s choice. I don’t see a connection between Scotts choice to leave and today’s storylines.
Gabi did sign the divorce papers on yesterday’s episode. Li had already signed them. After that, Stefan asked her to marry him and she said yes.
How Talia got the key to Paulina’s office was not explained well unless we are to assume she had two keys made at the same time: one to the office and one to Jada’s apartment. Of course, she could have had the key to Jada’s place made right after Jada gave it to her and quickly came up with the story of just having it made to cover her tracks.
The writers came up with the Colin storyline and his backstory. The Spain trip is part of his backstory and helps explain how hurt he was when his parents died and his hatred for Paulina and Chanel. His crimes five years ago are part of his backstory. That doesn’t mean the story was written five years ago by the Days writing team, they probably wrote it in 2022 (or thereabouts) as part of this entire storyline.
At this point, Li and Gabi are finished. Li recognized he can’t force Gabi to love him. I don’t think the evidence on EJs phone matters anymore. Wei Shin lost all leverage over Gabi and Stefan when his own son, Li, tried to kill Stefan and kept him on ice for years.
Also, EJ has had his share of missteps so he’s not winning any rewards for moral, honest behavior.In addition to getting rid of Talia and Colin once their stories end, Sloan can also leave Salem. Of course, they’ll have to play out the who’s the daddy story first with Nicole’s baby.
I do like the new, softer Sloan but I think revengeful Sloan is still there and will show up if the baby is Eric’s. Sloan seems totally dependent on Eric.I was being sarcastic when I said “she’ll probably get a slap on the wrist”. I didn’t say I think it will happen, it could happen though considering how many Salemites in the past have gotten away with crimes. Especially Kate. Lately though they seem to be putting people in jail, at least for a while.
There’s supposed to be a confrontation between Colin and Abe/Paulina this week. It’s on a rooftop and Chanel is also there. I hope this winds down this storyline.
Talia should have her medical license revoked since she drugged the biscuits and caused harm to others. But since this is a soap opera, she’ll probably get a slap on the wrist.
The majority of Spectator readers are probably Salemites. However, since it’s available online, anyone can gain access to it, including Colin.
Regarding Gabi: she could be replaced with another actor when CB leaves and continue the Gabi Stefan story. I haven’t seen any rumors or announcements about what Days will do with the character once CB is gone.
