ParticipantWhat is Dailymotion? I’m not familiar with it. I stream on Peacock and enjoy having the option to watch Days when I want to.

ParticipantGlad to see Alex call out Stephanie in today’s episode, Wed Oct 12, about her business relationship with Alex and Chad and the HR issues being the same.
Yeah Alex.

ParticipantAlex and Stephanie. Chad and Stephanie. Both situations are the same: boss potentially having a romantic relationship with an employee. Stephanie is the employee (or independent contractor) with Alex. Stephanie is the boss with Chad.
Details don’t seem to matter with Days writers. If Stephanie and Chad do have a romantic relationship, at least address the HR issue.

ParticipantNow it looks like Days is pointing to Clyde as the person who stabbed Sonny. At this point I don’t know who killed Abi or stabbed Sonny, but it’s obvious there’s behind the scenes info we don’t have.
I don’t see Craig killing anybody since he’s a healer, doctor, at heart.doolfan
ParticipantJesigirl22 Peacock is offering special rates for prime if you sign up in Sept. it’s $1.99 per month rather than $4.99. Also, $19.99 for a year.

ParticipantHere’s three more possible scenarios: 1. the killings aren’t related and two different killers are involved 2. Li Shin did one or both killings 3. a new vilian we haven’t met yet did it to disrupt DiMera Enterprises and Titan.
I’m just ready for Days to end this storyline and reveal the killer(s).doolfan
ParticipantI’m beginning to wonder if Sloan isn’t the killer. It looks like someone is trying to set up Leo (his lawyer perhaps?) but these killings greatly impact Chad. His wife dead and his best friend stabbed. I read on another board that Sloan’s last name may be Chad’s mother’s name. That would make Sloan and Chad half siblings. Could also be full siblings if Stefano is her father. Motive ??? Who knows, perhaps sibling rivalry like Abi/Gwen, improve reputation as a lawyer, or after the DiMera fortune.
Any thoughts?

ParticipantI’m beginning to not like the Paulina character since she married Abe and is so pushy about him running for Governor. She’s going as far as having focus groups behind his back.
She’s correct that Abe would make a fantastic Governor, and perhaps he needs a little push, however, it needs to be his decision. As Roman pointed out, Abe is happy in Salem with his friends and new wife. He’s been through enough with Lexie’s death and his son and daughter living away from Salem. Let him enjoy life! If he decides to run for Governor it should be his decision. Also, are there rumors out there that Vic is going to die? I haven’t seen anything about Aniston leaving the show.

ParticipantLi Shin is an interesting suspect. If he had his face and head covered Abi probably didn’t know if it was a man or women, hence the “they”. I guess if Abi shows up in Rolf’s lab on ice we’ll know it was Li LOL.
I think Gwen and/or Leo may have found the bleeding Abi and ran away instead of calling 911.

ParticipantWeren’t the shares Johnny gave EJ actually EJ’s shares to begin with? Didn’t Johnny swindle them away from EJ? So, if so, then EJ owns his own shares as well as Chad and Kate’s shares. Ava owns Jake’s shares, Gabi owns Stefan’s shares and Kristen owns her own shares. So assuming each individual has an equal number of shares, EJ only owns half the company. (Tony decided not to be involved in the day to day business of DiMera so I guess his shares aren’t being voted.)
If Johnny had his own shares and then signed them over to EJ, then EJ would be the majority owner.
Of course, this is a television soap opera so reality and details don’t count.

ParticipantNBC owns Peacock. It’s just another place for NBC to show their content. When Days transitions from NBC to Peacock on Sept 12, it’s not ending the show, only moving it to another place to access it. I read that NBC says alot of people already watch it on Peacock. But we’ll see how this turns out. They may loose alot of long time viewers who aren’t comfortable with streaming it. I think this is a bad move and DOOL will end in the not too distant future.
On another subject, ABC is moving Dancing With the Stars exclusively to their streaming platform. We’ll see how that turns out.

ParticipantI think Peacock should continue offering it for free after DOOL leaves NBC at least for some period of time – 6 months to a year. This gives viewers a chance to make the leap from tv to streaming. After that start charging, if numbers go down that’s the end of Days.

ParticipantI watch Days on Peacock now if I miss it on broadcast tv. I stream it on my tablet, phone, or tv. It’s FREE to watch on Peacock. However, will they start charging for it once it is exclusively on Peacock ? If so, the stories need to be top notch if I have to pay for them. Also, the other content on Peacock needs to be worth paying for, in my opinion.

ParticipantI’ve read that Marci wanted to leave to spend time with her baby as well as take on other projects. She had to turn down some roles due to her Days commitment. It doesn’t matter why she left, only that, if her contract allows, she can do so. It’s just like most people in any line of work can decide to leave a job when they want to (assuming no contract obligations).
However, when someone leaves a job, the employer is going to move on to do what’s best for the organization and its customers. In Days situation, they decided to kill off the character since her upcoming storylines required her to be under contract. So, that leads to the question of what those future storylines were? Were they all scrapped because Marci left and now they have to write a new storyline about her death and who killed her? In my opinion, they should have replaced Marci with a new actress to play the role of Abby and just moved on.
