It amazes me how the writers can keep all these relatives straight going back generations. They must have a big family tree in the writer’s room LOL
The Julie and Hope connection goes back years Julie is Hope’s step mother since she’s married to Doug, her biological father However, Hope and Julie are also half sisters since they share the same mother, Addie Horton. Addie was married to Doug many years ago. Before that, she was married to someone else who was Julie’s father. It really gets interesting when you go to the next generations of Ciara, Shawn Douglas, Claire.
Also Steve and Kayla just got back together and now they’re being pulled apart by the Tripp situation. Too much negativity. I hope they find the real rapist quickly and end this storyline.
Mommy tutu you may be right – it could all be a dream. The stories don’t seem to serve any major purpose to forward any of the existing storylines. Also, the timeline is crazy…..all this happened in the evening before midnight since they keep talking about Ciara’s memorial being tomorrow.
My guess is that this is John’s dream since we saw him very tired and go to bed after taking meds for his aneurysm.
Any other guesses on who may have been dreaming? Who knows, maybe it’s more than one person’s dream
I read that Gwen might be Abby’s half sister with Jack as the father. Jack might not even know he has another daughter.
This is a typical Days storyline with a child popping up in Salem to surprise an unknowing parent or family member.
So what is Gwen up to? I wonder if there’s not a Gwen and Vincent connection. Vincent is Dr Rolfe’s protege and the serum Gwen uses is from a DiMera company. Why does she want Abby out of the way? Is she Dr Rolfe’s child? How does her accent fit into this? Was dating Jake in Philly and signing into the hospital with Claire in Salem all part of a bigger plan? So many potential storylines , I hope the writers give us a creative one.
Sami is out of control. She is mean and vindictive and extremely angry. She has totally lost it. As far as I’m concerned, if this behavior is how the writers are going to portray her for her entire return into 2021, I’m not interested in watching. This is not entertainment.

according to the Celebrity Dirty Laundry site, Will and Sonny are returning. They are basing this on a Days preview promo that is out. But who knows how accurate this info is.
At least with Gabi coming back maybe she and Jake have a chance.
I really like Hope and Rafe getting back together and dislike what the writers are doing to this couple. If Kristin A would stay, maybe the writers would give her a storyline with Rafe and bring back the strong Hope we used to know. Ever since Beau died the writers have destroyed this character. KA and Hope deserve better.
i don’t know what to think about the Ben and Ciara situation. I think they need to replace Ciara with another actress to keep their relationship going and give them some fun storylines like detective work for Black Patch.
I laughed at the wedding dress manaquin with the computer screen showing Ciara as the head. It reminded me of a Big Bang Theory episode where Sheldon was going around on a computer monitor attached to a pole. He was holed up in his room and wouldn’t come out – I forget why.
It was nice to see more of a typical Salem wedding, in a church, with guests, and everyone dressed up. Hope and Marlena’s dresses were very nice.
Or Eve drugged Claire to do these things and she doesn’t remember. However, drugging is DeMera thing, not Eve’s go to revenge. I don’t think Eduardo would be involved with the bomb since his son and daughter were at the wedding. Gabi was a last minute guest but not Rafe
My guess is that it is Eve seeking revenge on Ben for killing her daughter. But who actually made the bomb and planted it in the church for her? Is it another character or just some random bomb maker she found? She was also probably behind the nail polish on the dress, missing ring and spiked drink. if it is Eve, she’s setting up her friend Claire to take the blame. She used to be a "mother" figure or mentor for Claire with her singing career.
Did Abe know that Valerie was dating someone else? Did Abe and Val break up? I know they were trying a long distance relationship for a while. I thought Val and a date might be part of this dismal wedding story but it was never mentioned. I guess Abe was ok with it.
I am happy to see a wedding that finally happened in Salem even though the interruptions were annoying!
