I hope you’re not implying that my previous post said that a tox screen would lead to Connie. Because that’s not what I said. I said a tox screen would be another clue in the investigation.
The styrofoam cup Connie handed to Everett without gloves on is a good observation, I didn’t catch it. Let’s hope the trash hasn’t been emptied and the cup is found.Now that Bobby/Everett supposedly committed suicide, I wonder how much Marlena will blame herself for this. She fell for Bobby pretending Everett was back in control, she might feel like she should have seen the signs of suicide. HOWEVER, maybe she will tell Jada just the opposite, that there were no signs of Bobby/Everett taking his own life and therefore raising Jada’s suspicions. Also, I hope when they do the tox screen on Bobby/Everett traces of the drug Connie gave him will show up and be another clue to solving this.
Right now, this whole Bobby/Everett story was a big waste of time. It was poor writing and had no conceivable purpose. Perhaps there’s more to come, another part of the story we don’t know about yet that will save this atrocious storyline.
I agree with everything you said. I was surprised they killed off Bobby / Everett with his story still untold. Of course, this is Salem, so maybe he’s not dead. LOL. I was disappointed in that Jada and Stef didn’t call the ambulance right away when they found him. They wasted time talking to each other and him.
The Bobby/Everett story showed promise and was interesting-so days abruptly ends it. What a disappointment.I think the writers wrote themselves into a corner. What should be a simple story about Everett/Bobby has turned into a confusing mess. When we had Gabi/Gaby the story was easy to follow.
Here’s what I understand so far. Stef met Everett Lynch in Seattle and he ghosted her. Then Everett shows up in Salem with the I was in an accident, had a brain injury, and don’t have memories story. Then we find out Jada was married to Bobby Stein who treated her terribly so she divorced him. Then we are led to believe that Bobby, as Everett, cheated on Jada with Stef. What’s confusing here is the timeline for all of this. Is this the sequence:
1. Jada marries Bobby. (Seattle)
2. Bobby leaves her and turns into Everett and dates Stef. (Seattle)
3. Everett has an accident and has a brain injury and no memories. (Seattle)
4. Stef thinks he ghosted her.
5. Everett shows up in Salem and dates Stef.
6. Jada recognizes Everett as Bobby Stein. Everett is confused about his identity since he doesn’t know Bobby Stein.
7. Marlena tries to help since Bobby and Everett are vying for control.
8. Full blown Bobby seems to be in control now and Everett is in the background.The Stein vs Lynch last names hasn’t been explained. Why Bobby is in control hasn’t been explained. There’s a lot more to this story that needs to be explained, and quickly because this story has lasted too long already. Let’s wrap it up!
And Gabi believing Connie’s story when Gabi caught her in Rafe’s room is ridiculous. Gabi should have kicked her out and demanded a guard at the door for her brother.
If there are budget issues, Days could just mention there is a security guard outside his door without hiring an actor to play a guard.Also why would Everett have Bobby’s memories even under hypnosis? I thought perhaps Bobby was faking the whole thing and wasn’t under hypnosis. Why would Bobby agree to hypnosis to begin with? You’re right, this Bobby/Evertt story is getting confusing.
I was surprised Marlena fell for Bobby faking being Everett and then letting him out of Bayview. She didn’t do any analysis, just said ok you’re Everett, good bye.

If we’re going to have a teen scene, I would like to see Parker back.

The Paul actor was on a few episodes of Hawaii Five-O a few years ago. He played a vicious criminal, the total opposite of Paul.
I also wondered if this will open the door for Zucker to return as Nicole at some point in the not to distant future. I read she is involved in another project now as well as getting ready for her wedding. Maybe after all of that……
Eric was the victim here. He had no idea Jude was kidnapped or that he was the father until everything came out when Sloan confessed and Nicole told him about him being the father.
I agree, storylines do feel chopped off with no clear path forward. There are characters without any story and stories that have been hanging around too long. Examples: what happens to Ava now that Harris left? Eric seems to be hanging around now and the big Jude daddy reveal is not moving fast enough; Alex needs a story and there’s one waiting for him if the writers would speed up the Teresa deception reveal; Brady is just in the background without a story of his own; the John/Constantine truth is in the works so when will John return?
I wish they would quickly wrap up the existing stories before they start on new ones: Leo’s mom, Xander’s mom, Abagail being alive,etc
