DPParticipant
so I am assuming they used make-up to cover them up. He may have too many to cover them all up that frequently.
DPParticipantThe chemistry between Ari Zuker and James Scott is amazing. I wish there was a way to get their characters back together so they could continue to play off one-another.
DPParticipantbut, I think they couldn’t really hear him (based on the faces Louise Sorel was making when the interviewer spoke). I loved what she had to say about Frances Reid – and found it interesting that they didn’t work together on-screen but had a friendship off-screen.
June 30, 2010 at 2:41 pm in reply to: I forget (again) – how is Nathan a Horton? Was Melissa never married? (eom) #14124DPParticipantI’d assume they gave Nathan the Horton last name was so that they could be obvious in creating a tie for him back to Maggie.
DPParticipantor to any other day time star who passed in the last year.
I was not impressed with the show. They had several Vegas acts (ie Lion King, Blue Man Group, David Copperfield) worked in to the show, but, in my opinion, they weren’t a good fit with the Daytime Emmys as these acts/performers had nothing to do with daytime tv.
The best part of the show was the lifetime achievement award given to Dick Clark. The tributes by Marie Osmond, Chubby Checker, etc were well done, the video messages from others (Cher looked bizarre at best!), were just beautiful and brought Dick Clark to tears. It was very well done.
DPParticipantas she seemed to emphasize the first syllable, saying GEE-anni. I picked up on it thinking, ok, last I watched it was Johnny or Giovanni so when did it become Gianni?
DPParticipantI thought she looked absolutely beautiful. She is a stunning woman – always was.
DPParticipantI just checked IMDB. Lisa Trusel trained as a dancer so that was surprising! I agree, she doesn’t look like a dancer. The actress is only 14 years older than the actor who plays her son – Lisa is only 42, a little young to have a son who has already been through med school!
Unfortunately, I think the dress Lisa/Melissa wore to the funeral wasn’t flattering and just made her look bigger.
DPParticipantI hadn’t watched in about a year and just started about a month ago. When Hope wore the black dress for the funeral, you could see (when she turned sideways) that she had definitely gained a few pounds – and I think she looks terrific! Her face isn’t looking as gaunt as it had before. The weight gain hasn’t (and I’m guessing won’t) affect her arms at all. I can gain and lose weight and my arms and legs remain very thin no matter what.
DPParticipant…just FF through all of the Phil/Chloe/Daniel scenes after the first time Chloe talks to either guy, because for the next 9 months (and probably after the baby is born) the dialog will be the same. Sort of like the last few weeks:
– Phil/Chloe – Phil: "Don’t tell him, just get married" Chloe: "I must tell him"
– Chloe/Daniel – Chloe: "Oh, Daniel, I’ve done something terrible and you won’t love me anymore" Daniel: "Oh Chloe, I’ll always love you, let’s just get married"
Now it’ll be:
– Phil/Chloe – Phil: "Don’t tell him" Chloe: "I must tell him"
– Chloe/Daniel – Chloe: "Oh, Daniel, I’ve done something terrible and you won’t love me anymore" Daniel: "Oh Chloe, I’ll always love you, we’re having a baby!"
June 27, 2010 at 3:22 am in reply to: Spoilers not seen elsewhere on Prevuze (with Prevuze you know they can’t be serious) #14010DPParticipantI especially like the first two.
DPParticipantI thought was wonderfully done, as it showed Alice (and Frances) age and even showed her looking pretty frail in some of the last scenes she did. I was tearing up throughout, but that was what really brought me to tears – well done.
DPParticipantDPParticipantCould Chad be another one of the devil’s spawn (another Stefano baby??)
DPParticipantI was thinking that they could make some of those characters similar to Abe, Lexie, etc where we only get to see them about once/month. Then at least they’d be part of the storyline with minimal cost impact. This would work for any of them who are still in LA but not heavily committed to other projects.
