Sami had made a lot of progress and her character matured since being with Rafe. That’s one thing I’ll say the old writers did well. I really enjoyed watching Sami over the last year or two. Ever since John & Marlena came back, they have reverted her character back to her teenage days and I am not liking it one bit!

I wonder how Lucas will react to Daniel being his, what would it be, cousin? I know it’s by marriage, but still…
That right there is why I don’t like Hlalloween. I am NOT creative, but my mom always was. Every year when we said what we wanted to be, she would come up with a way to make it. I can never think of anyting for my kids and it’s SO frustrating.
Please please please don’t write this in this quadrangle w/ Carrie/Austin/Sami/Rafe! I love how Austin played such a dummy on the phone to Carrie and didn’t take any responsibility for moving into Sami’s.
What if John realized someone was trying to set him up or embezzle and so he had Alice keep some money in a safe place to catch the crook? I don’t know how it would all play out, but maybe John will end up being the hero. There’s a lot that’s not being said, I can’t wait to see how this story’s going to play out! It’s so nice to have storylines that aren’t so predictable.
I accidentally left that out about Jen/Jack/Daniel. I really love Jen & Daniel together and I wish he never would have come back. His drama is not appreciated where I’m concerned, but it might be interesting to see how it plays out. I love seeing Dan with someone his own age for once, I like them better than any other that Jen has been with.
I think they are perfect for each other, bring out the best and sometimes the worst in each other. James & Ari have incredible chemistry, I love that they’re going this route. They could be a really stable couple I think. I loved the hostage scene and seeing EJ’s reaction to her being held at knife point. I think it totally makes sense that he has been trying to be someone he’s not and that’s why he went after Taylor; now that he’s embracing his true self he realizes Nicole is the person he really wants to love, and who accepts him as he is. Can’t wait to see where they go with it!
I thought she might have a battle with something and maybe that was going to be the reason for Marlena to come back.
I noticed they mentioned Kate wanting to start up Countess Wilhemina (spelling?) cosmetics again under the DiMeras. Wasn’t Billie the one who headed that up under Titan?? That might have been a hint.
I love the character, and Ali does a great job portraying her. I was actually watching the show today with her and Rafe and wondering how people could think she HASN’T grown up? Yes, she still says and does a lot of things out of impulse, but she doesn’t lie to get her way or to get out of things and she doesn’t manipulate the man she supposedly loves. She is much more mature than the Sami I remember watching back in the 90s, obsessed with Austin and blaming John Black for all her troubles! Wow, I don’t miss that Sami at all! I love who she’s become, I think a lot of people can identify with her.
Have you seen how quickly he seems to have aged in the last 2 years, wow! I think he looks much worse than when he was running. I think that’s pretty normal though because I remember that about George W during is 2nd term. Something about the eyes.
but I think there’s a difference between how murder, lying, cheating, etc. is portrayed on the show versus homosexuality, and I think that’s what bothers a lot of people. I feel like the show is saying, just like our society does, that if a person disagrees with homosexuality than they are homophobic and hateful. Granted, T’s actions are not what I consider just "disagreeing" with, but they were saying that with all the scripts I’ve heard. I am not excited about Days promoting homosexuality but I don’t plan on boycotting the show by any means; I just don’t like being told that I should just accept it as an alternative lifestyle. It will never be okay, as God’s Word never changes; just like it’s never ok for me to be prideful, selfish, hateful, lustful, etc. Just pick your sin, we all struggle with something.
it wasn’t because of something he did while living in the DiMera house but not really knowing who he was? He was doing a lot of underhanded things at the time, remember? Like with Paul Walker (whatever happened to him, anyway?) and drug shipments, was it Philip that planted the drugs on his cargo or the other way around. I don’t remember, but he was involved in a lot of naughty stuff!
