Chloe has been working at the hospital too, volunteering, I think. I’m sure she has struck up friendships with the nursing staff. Also, she’s got to have some women there, she doesn’t have any friends besides Nicole that I know of. She certainly can’t have her shower guest list filled with all the men she’s slept with. LOL
drea4713ParticipantBut I can’t think of one thing Caroline has to gain from that. She has no connection to Daniel, Chloe, Philip or Melanie. Not only would it be a surprise, but it would make no sense.
drea4713ParticipantShawn was here when Zack died. I remember him being very angry with Chelsea. I can’t remember exactly when he left. I know it was when John was still not himself because he bought them a boat but it wasn’t really explained why, it seemed awkward.
drea4713ParticipantJust in time for their marriage to fall apart, you know. If they do buy a house, Melanie will find out about Philip cheating just days after they move in.
drea4713ParticipantI think the Sami/EJ storyline is the show right now. I am liking Brady being a bad boy. The Hope storyline makes me want to sleep and I am sooooo tired of hearing about Chloe & Daniel’s problems/baby/on again off again wedding/etc. I could just cry!
drea4713ParticipantI know and see many women who act like this. Maybe not make ALL the poor decisions they make, but it’s a soap so everything is a stretch, but certainly act the same way a lot of the time. It’s called INSECURITY, and I think every woman struggles with it, some worse than others. Nicole and Sami have severe cases and don’t think they are worthwhile so continue sabotaging themselves. Sami reminds me of one of my best friends and a little bit of a family member of mine. It breaks my heart, I can see how badly they want to make good choices, and yet their selfishness is too much for them to overcome. I am not bragging, but thinking of other people is something that comes naturally for me. I used to think it was common sense, but I have realized over the years that many people lack this quality and it is something that is somewhat difficult for them, something they must consciously think about. Very very sad. Okay, enough about that!
drea4713ParticipantBecause when she had it opened he noticed there was a tv and I think he said something about the strawhole. That’s how he figured out it was going to hold a live person.
drea4713ParticipantI still don’t understand how it can be anyone else but Sami. I thought the bullet was on the same side she was on. The ballistics report said the bullet came from the kind of gun that was in the desk drawer, that we saw in EJ’s hand and Sami picked up. I guess it could have just happened to be the same kind of gun that someone else fired??
drea4713ParticipantI think you might be right, because I have noticed several times Stefanie asks, "Who would have done it," they have gone to Daniel, and he’s usually acting strangely about something. But my question is, why? Why wouldn’t he have just told Chloe, "Look, I know what you did, but I forgive you. Let’s move past this."
drea4713ParticipantApparently in Salem alcohol makes you smarter. Brady was cracking me up with his lines yesterday and today, "You know what comes to mind when people ask me about you Vivian? She buries people alive." LOL
drea4713ParticipantI just don’t see how it can be anyone BUT Sami. She was too close to miss and there was nothing in that scene to me to say there might be another shooter she didn’t see. I think it was obvious the writers were focusing on her fear and anger to drive her to do this. Wouldn’t it be ironic, though, if Lucas & Sami ended up back together down the road and they both have shot EJ now!
drea4713ParticipantI had a really hard time getting through the scenes today. I sure hope they don’t show these in flashbacks over and over again, I couldn’t stand it. I don’t think I’d FF, I think I’d just stop watching. I don’t know what it is, not that I’m an EJ fan, but kicking someone when they’re down, and how they portrayed suicide. It was sickening to me. I can tell it was a moment of temporary insanity for Sami, she was desperate, confused and scared. I can see that. I wish they hadn’t shown some of it though, and left it to our imaginations. I think the writers could have a great story if they write it well. Sami’s guilt over this while EJ’s life hangs in the balance. Nicole seems to have a solid alibi, not sure who the other suspects will be. Won’t it be obvious when Rafe quits the FBI?
drea4713ParticipantIt doesn’t make sense why anyone would change it if it was positive to begin with, does it?
drea4713ParticipantArianna seems to be the character that forgets unless it affects her personally. She has no mercy for Hope because she was hurt by it, too, so she has to have someone to blame, can’t just blame drugs. As far as EJ, since he "believed" in her when no one else would, her sympathy sides with him against Sami, especially since Sami "hurt" her brother. As far as Brady & Nicole, she only hated Nicole for the trouble she caused her. I liked her at first, but she seems like a totally self-centered character to me!
drea4713ParticipantI think he might have known, or they are alluding to that anyhow because when they told him and he immediately asked "is it Daniel’s?" I think that was to get a reaction out of Chloe, he covered it up and then goaded Daniel later, asking him, "but why do you think she’s so jumpy? She said she has everything she ever wanted." So I think he knows.
