If they take this story in the right direction, it will be very good. I hope it’s not a storyline they get bored of and then just tie up quickly and move to something else. If you’ve ever seen movies on split/multiple personalities, usually there is at least of the alters that knows about all the other personalities and knows what they do. The original personality doesn’t know about any of them, sometimes people will develop more than one alter. I can’t remember the name of the movie/documentary, but it was on Eve White & Eve Black. It was depicted very well.
I don’t think her being rude was out of line, but I think she took it too far. She’s a teenager so I think her reaction was accurate to someone trying to steal her sister’s fiancee. An adult, like Arianna did, would know she’s just trying to get under your skin. A 16 year old wouldn’t, though.
I like Philip with Melanie for now, I’m glad they didn’t have her cheat with Nathan. I think this means that eventually her & Nathan will be together, though. Maybe a power couple, they have a great story, I think. It’s kind of romantic, she tries to break off her marriage but is interrupted by Stephanie, then she honors her decision and her wedding vows. Later when she’s scorned, they find their way back to each other. I hope when she finds out about Philip & Chloe, she doesn’t immediately run to Nathan & they sleep together (yuck!); I hope she builds a relationship through friendship & confidence in Nathan and is comforted by Daniel of her failed marriage.
A DNA test wouldn’t be out of the question, but if the pieces go together then why go through the trouble. It would probably just upset Melanie further and make her think Daniel didn’t want her, either. It’s not like he has to pay child support, either, she’s a grown woman.
Ari plays how she’s written very well. I’m tired of the writing, though. I don’t mind her getting into trouble, but this constantly going after men that are in love with someone else is just annoying. She was always fighting Sami for EJ’s affection, doesn’t she know that she will be doing the same thing for Brady with Arianna? The character is obnoxious, but don’t you know people like that in real life? It’s really sad sometimes to watch, you just want to scream "don’t you get it yet?!!"
Although I don’t like it, that seems to be the norm, people often jump into bed together without getting to know one another first, unfortunately. It’s pushed even more by the Hollywood agenda, so I’m not sure why it’s such a surprise on a soap opera. I know back in the day Days had a lot of romance, less funny business and whatnot, but our society and all tv and movies have changed drastically since then. Personally I think it’s really sad, but I don’t think it’s going to change. It’s not like they have masqueraded this as a "family show." LOL
if it’s more than just killing someone. She knows that Stefano could cover up a lot of crimes, ala poisoning Chloe, so I don’t think she’d be that crazy about Madeline if it was just that. Kate has done so many bad things and her reputation with most respectable people is pretty much shot, so I’m wondering what is it that she’s afraid to lose? It must have something to do with her children. That’s about the only thing that gets her this upset.
I like process of elimination, so: she keeps saying "she could ruin everything," what is everything? She doesn’t have a marriage full of secrets, so she can’t ruin that. I can’t imagine she can do anything to put her behind bars, because Kate will never pay in that way, I don’t think anyway. They don’t talk about her business hardly anymore, so I don’t think that’s it, either. Any thoughts??
After watching yesterday’s show (Thursday) when Stefano and Madeline were talking, it seemed like he knew what had happened. She said something about bringing up the past. I think if it was between Kate and Madeline only, he wouldn’t know anything about it. The storyline is very intriguing, though!
In Salem time you can be shot and nearly die and be released from the hospital the next day. I’m sure Billie is better than ever now! it would be interesting to bring her back, though and confuse Bo a little more. They could make that a good storyline between her and Kate, living in the DiMera mansion. There could be a lot of possibilities! Oops, meant to reply to below comment, sorry!
What about Adrienne? She needs a story line.
Or maybe day Hope? I am still wondering what Rafe was doing when the DA was attacked that he wouldn’t share with anyone. Will this be addressed or just dropped? It seemed like they had a definite reason for him not wanting to share an alibi.

I am tired of them as well, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they take it that direction. It would be a stretch, but not that crazy really. A lot of people who struggle with infertility make it worse by stressing out about not getting pregnant. But here Chloe, while stressed for other reasons, isn’t even thinking about getting pregnant, and is really relaxed in that aspect. Her body may respond!
If he is a DiMera, that can’t be why Stefano is threatened by her. If he knew it, Chad would not be raised a Woods because we all know that he is adamant about being a part of his children/grandchildren’s lives.
I can see why Philip thought Melanie was cheating. He actually saw her kissing Nathan and knew she was fighting feelings for him. Most normal people would stand there longer than 5 seconds to see what happened, though. But Chloe I can’t figure out why she was so convinced Daniel was cheating on her. First of all, they had a fight about Carly, but he reassured her of his love before leaving. Then she goes to the hospital and someone says they "might" have gone to a motel. Finally she goes to the motel and the clerk says he "may" have checked them in, but I’m sure he sees a lot of people and can’t remember faces accurately, I never could! At least wait for some kind of proof, geez!
BTW-did anyone else notice I think the clerk at the hotel was the same guy that secretly filmed Philip & Melanie and put it on the net a while back at that sleazy hotel?
I’m with you, Patti, I think Philip is one of the hottest guys on the show. I don’t know what it is about him, his looks or his power, but anytime he’s on, my eyes are glued to the TV. Maybe it’s the name, which happens to be the same as my husband’s.
She is doing great and you can tell she’s enjoying it, too. It would be so boring to be written so boring all the time. I would think they would love story lines like this, to be able to stretch their acting muscles!
