I’m sure she can separate herself from the character but when you have invested yourself in a character as long as she has I’m sure she has some strong feelings about how Hope would or wouldn’t behave. And she felt the Aiden storyline was good for the character. She was behaving as a responsible adult and making good choices. Now they are making her the maiden in distress who needs to be saved by her knight in shining armor. Who wants to play a character who never moves forward. It seems to be a theme on Days….Nicole…Sami…now Hope.
Everyone has the right to decide a job no longer makes them happy, even an actor! And as a long term cast member I would think her feelings would carry some weight. After all who knows her character better than the actress. And why would she be happy with a storyline that ends up making her look foolish? And that is what is happening with the Aiden story
was that he did not seem so much upset with her for talking to Chad as for trying to imply that perhaps Chad was not the murderer. He jumped all over her when she tried to suggest that it made no sense for Chad to come to her and then try to kill her. That was when he pulled the big guns out and told her she could go to jail for trying to help him and that she seemed to be suffering from judgment lapses. He is on the same wagon as Justin, nobody else could be guilty so why bother to investigate. Won’t they both look like horses rears when the truth comes out?
I actually felt a little sorry for Theresa yesterday. Not that I will ever believe her to be truly reformed but I felt for her when she told Maggie the story about Kim being so interested in helping abused women that she never gave any value to what Theresa enjoyed and was good at. And now those two blow in like the wicked witches of Oz and try to drop a house on her. I think Brady feels for the situation but hopefully will not get sucked in by her, even though in her own warped way I think she really does have feelings for Brady.
perhaps saw the Serena murder and, knowing Chad had fought with her was doing what he could to frame him. He may not know who the actual murderer is but is suffering from guilt pangs now that Paige is dead and he knows that the police are on to the wrong guy because of him.
On a somewhat related subject what is wrong with Brian Datillo’s arm? Anything really or is that just another red herring to make us wonder how Lucas really hurt his arm, since his excuse was so lame, and could he be the killer? Although in retrospect if anyone had a million reasons to go over the edge it would be poor loser in love Lucas, LOL. I really wish they would do something positive as far as a storyline for him.
I really liked Hope and Aiden. He always seemed like a stand-up guy. Now they have turned him into a sniveling, gambling loser. I remember reading a quote somewhere from the actor who plays Aiden that somebody had to get thrown under the bus and it was him and now I see why he was so ticked off.
And Hope looks like a bigger fool. She waited so long to be sure about Aiden and then whoops, he tells you he owes a bookie 100 large and okay let me call the bank and liquidate some funds. I trust you since I agreed to marry you. Geez, really Hope? Maybe you do need Bo back to help you screw your head back on in the right direction.I’m kinda disappointed myself. No real surprise or shock there for me and wonder what will prompt future killings?
Unsure about his presence there and how it would be received, nervous because he had abandoned his daughter. I thought he caught the emotions of being newly arrived to the party too late quite well.
And assumes he tried to kill her? So why is he trying to revive her? Doesn’t seem like a natural leap to me. But I have been on vacation and have yet to catch up. Plus the previews say the necktie killer identity is revealed on Thursday.
that indicate a Hope/Rafe hook-up but what if Rafe is the killer? Now ThAT would blow everyone’s mind, no? Although my initial thought is still Eric. And if we see him wearing a suit and tie again then he will be #1 with a bullet as they used to say!
