Shadow it doesn’t really seem to parallel this story though. Eve isn’t criticizing or bullying or putting stuff out there to make her daughter look bad, she is picking on her daughter’s boyfriend. She thinks Paige is the greatest thing ever even tho she does seem to be jealous of Paige, but not to the extreme of picking on her daughter, just on JJ.

Since she just signed to do movies for Hallmark Channel. But maybe….

and will be shocked as everyone when whatever it is plays out. And unless this is a really good snow job by the writers, I am just not feeling the sincerity from Serena regarding Eric. I don’t really see any feeling of “OMG I have to do this or Eric will die, or I will die” when she talks to the person on the other end of the phone. It’s more like I know, I will get it done, don’t worry. I just need to string him along a little more. In which case, poor dumb Eric who can’t see a lit bulb in a dark closet to save his life, LOL.

the ending with the separate shots of all the vested parties who hopefully will continue to intertwine while this storyline plays out. reminded me of the scene on the pier where Hope, Roman, Bo…all in the fog carrying guns, while Phil Collins played “coming in the air tonight” or however those lyrics go, LOL, and you had NO IDEA what would happen. Classic days and this has the potential to be one of those things you don’t forget from Days if these writers continue to drink whatever was in their water when they wrote today’s episode.,

And just let me say Yay to Grandfather for being so much wiser than his family was willing to credit him. Lose the Eve/JJ/Paige stuff. When Eve went to Salem U, well as Paige told her, REALLY, who does that to their child? So embarrassing and so totally self-centered of Eve who is only interested in making sure Paige doesn’t find out she is the skank JJ slept with. And hooray for JJ putting it right back on Eve because they share equal blame and she is trying to put it all on him.

It seems to me that she really is just using Eric to get what she wants. From those phony tears about Edward to the hastily disguised shock on her face when Eric questioned her about why she seemed so unnerved when Nicole said she had her files. And then the sudden pull back when Eric was going to kiss her and that smug look on her face when she walked out the door. And all the comments from everyone, Marlena on down, about how “sweet” Serena is seems to me to be setting everyone up for the big shocker when they find out she is a notch further down on the ladder than they all think Nicole is.
Oh and as for St. Daniel, has he realized yet that his holier-than-thou sanctimonious baloney isn’t getting him very far in the female department? He is always having some self-righteous blow-up with these women he claims to love and then back to the apartment he goes all alone. Perhaps his standards are just a tad too high? He had every right to be angry with her but he really needs to get off that pedestal because when he falls down he is going to do great damage to that ego of his.
