dvalParticipant
Especially about everybody caving to Nick. I was thinking the same thing today, why not just remind Nick what he tried to do to Gabi? Attempted rape is really not a very good charge to have brought against you when you are an ex-con, combined with how he tried to get Gabi a job and move off with her to New York. Seems to me he has more against him than for.
dvalParticipantwhen Abby was doing a lot of things with Johnny. I seem to remember that for a while she was always around with the kids or maybe it was just Ciera and Theo?
dvalParticipant“a parent has to help me” LOL
dvalParticipantI think it’s just to make it seem more dramatic (and SCARY, LOL)
dvalParticipantWe had to be interrupted to hear the mayor of New York drone on for I don’t know how long to let people know that they were working to keep the streets clear.
dvalParticipantshe does constantly deny him any kind of reasoning on this issue. All she wants is for him to say that he knows Kristen did this thing and she won’t discuss anything else with him, but that is not the way it is put out there in many of the threads I have read. It is simply stated that Sami is getting what she deserves because she won’t sleep with him. And as I said, maybe that is not what people mean but that is how it comes across to me when I read it.
dvalParticipantthat you were condoning it. It’s just that it seems to be a common thread when this storyline is discussed, EJ is doing this because he has “needs” that Sami isn’t satisfying. It sounds like such an old fashioned notion, a man has needs and he will what, blow up if he doesn’t get it often enough, so he has to go find it where he can? So it’s all Sami’s fault because she won’t put out. And maybe that isn’t what people mean, but that is how it sounds to me when I read it. JMO of course.
dvalParticipantby this argument for a long time, the people who say Sami won’t put out so EJ has to get it somewhere, implying it is her fault. is this the 1950’s? What about EJ’s part in all of this? He refuses to admit that he knows what his sister did, which would clear Eric and make Sami feel closer to him. She is correct, he puts his family ahead of hers. Now we aren’t talking my brother didn’t like what your sister said here, we are talking about a despicable act that has caused irreparable harm to Eric’s career (granted for the end purposes of the storyline but still). But EJ won’t do the right thing and tell the truth. Instead he thinks that if he helps Sami out of her problems then that is enough and he shouldn’t have to do anymore. He could just as easily fix this situation and have his cake and, well you know the saying…. but he won’t.
The problem with this relationship, which I have said from the get go, is that it is not based on mutual respect. It is based on their underlying dislike for things the other does and they get off on being angry with each other. Not a healthy relationship or one that has long lasting written all over it. Sami should just walk away and find a man who can treat her respectfully. I know people hated the Rafe/Sami pairing but he was willing to do just about anything for her too and not expect anything in return. She took advantage of that, because she is Sami, but before she did they were happy. There has to be mate for Sami out there who is in between Mr. Nice Guy Rafe and Mr. I Won’t Admit That My Family is Evil EJ.
dvalParticipantwouldn’t offend me much either. But after today, the way she acted and the way her eyes looked when she stopped and came back to talk to EJ about telling Hope the story anyway, well I certainly could believe they are going to have Abigail go bat*hit as Patti says. She looked a little spooky to me. Now that could make for an interesting storyline especially since she has crossed boundaries before. Jen could have a whole new set of things to feel guilty about, LOL. But it would be a good way to bring DOOL history into the present.
dvalParticipantWhen were Abbey and Julie ever that close to Nick, except for when he first came back and Julie was pushing for Hope to do whatever she could to get him released. But all that screaming and moaning as if she knew he was dead, OMG, I just wanted to smack her. And even then when he admitted what he had done to Gabi Julie still acted as if he should be given a pass. Thank you Hope for laying down the “law” to him about why she really had no reason to believe him, even though Julie looked horrified that Hope would say such a thing to Nick.
dvalParticipantis what day of the week is it? I didn’t think the Catholic Church did Baptism any day but Sunday (at least not in my church and never remember being to one that was not on a Sunday). This was obviously a weekday because so many people had to go back to work (even the never at work Jennifer, LOL.)
dvalParticipantconspiracy theorists at heart Patti. I was wondering the same thing about announcing so soon.
dvalParticipantterrible today. Her hair color, that gosh awful sweater. Plus Ali herself looked a little rundown.
dvalParticipantsince yesterday and was shocked at the number of people who have been looking for this to happen. When I put ejabby in the heading it was spur of the moment but tgat is all over othee boards. I don’t get it. I don’t see any sparks between them at all.
dvalParticipantI just keep hearing Sami tell EJ how she doesn’t want to be standing at the altar with him and have someone burst in with a surprise that ruins the wedding. An omen? I sure hope not. There are already way too many kids with EJ as their daddy.
