Don’t you know how physical therapists work with their patients? It’s a very intense relationship and that is what you want, not some namby pamby who is willing to let the patient get away with anything and everything to the detriment of their recovery. (And that means not overdoing it as well as not pushing hard enough.)
dvalParticipantthat this was something he had to write for a class and his professor submitted it, not that it was a career choice he was consciously making. It must have been something about fatherhood because he told little Arianna that writing about her inspired him.
dvalParticipantthat she and jack told abby when she reached a certain age. They were waiting for jj to reach the same age to tell him but jack died before they could explain it to jj. Dont know what that age was.
At least that’s what I understood from jen and abbts coversation
dvalParticipantI know Daniel has been no saint either but really, Jack did some pretty rotten things in the past. I agree that JJ has made up a dream dad totally based on his imagination and not on fact. but the way he has gone after Dan and the things he has said about him, well, no adult needs to listen to that sort of thing from a teenager. Especially one who has had no interaction with him at all.
And speaking of the way young people speak to adults on this show, if I have to hear not-Jeannie, oh yeah Theresa I blanked on her name for a moment call Jennifer “Jenny” one more time, I might reach through the screen myself and slap that horrendous smirk right off her face.! She is beyond disrespectful, although it did seem some of what Jen said today hit home.dvalParticipantI don’t agree that Dan should not have helped Abby get to the jail and I TOTALLY disagree with the “adding insult to injury”. JJ is a complete and utter mess. He doesn’t hate Daniel for any good reason on God’s green earth other than his father is dead. And nothing is going to change that. He was a drug dealer at boarding school and that was before he knew his mom had a boyfriend. So what is his real, true, legitimate excuse for his behavior other than he just feels like it? Nothing. He is a snarky, ill mannered, belligerent little twit who needs to spend some time in those same prison denims Sami is wearing and maybe he will come around. Other than some “tough love” he will never change.
dvalParticipantmy kids accounts when a deposit was made to be sure it was correct. I, too, find it odd she wouldn’t notice that balance. I’ve thought from the get go that she knew more than she let on.
dvalParticipantDid he get into Rafes room without anyone noticing him? Some hospital security
dvalParticipantHas gone on too long. I don’t care if she reports him or not as it won’t matter in the long run. Someone will show up to bail Sami out and it won’t be EJ. Daniel and Jennifer… Cameron/Abby/Chad…who cares? this whole show has turned into a major snoozefest. I don’t care if I watch it or miss it. Can’t we resolve a story in less than a year? PLEASE!
dvalParticipantI would be more inclined to agree on that point if JJ was 12 or 13, but he is 17 years and how many months old and closer to being considered an adult than he is to ever being considered a minor. If Daniel had punched him, or tossed him or even slapped him I would feel differently but all he did was grab his shirt and give him a lecture.
JJ isn’t afraid of anyone and that is his biggest problem. He needs to learn to have a healthy fear of someone, anyone and that certainly isn’t his mother. She is his doormat.dvalParticipantHe didn’t choke him, he didn’t throw him across the room, as I remember the scene he didn’t touch his body at all, he just grabbed his shirt. There was nothing done TO JJ, just his clothing.
As for the rest of this, as I posted on another page, this trio is just boring. There is no parent for JJ at all, just a mealy-mouthed, whiny little broad who can’t figure out that she is being manipulated, even when her son calls her horrible names for kissing a guy. And she brought that situation on herself by asking for the “secret” relationship. And then she blames Dan for this mess? Sorry Daniel RUN don’t walk, even if it is back to Chloe at this point.dvalParticipantcan’t there be a woman on Days who is just simply a strong, secure person who doesn’t need to be wallowing in some sort of misery all the time. And I don’t mean a psycho female, I mean like Doc used to be before these writers got a hold of her. Strong, secure in herself and her job and no need to always be bringing someone else down to prove how good she is.
All we have now is nasty little Anne and Theresa, “Oh I’m so demure I can’t make up my mind” Abigail, Jennifer the fence sitter. And Gabi who just, I don’t know, what she is anymore. I’m not liking the road she seems to be taking either. God right now the most secure females on the show are Sami and Kate, LOL. Scary.dvalParticipantwhen Hope too her “out to the woodshed” so to speak. When Theresa offered to take a drug test Hope should have said, come on, let’s go. She is a real low life user, this Miss Theresa is.
dvalParticipantI know. Age is totally irrelevant on this show, no matter how old you look.
Better yet, as far as how old people are supposed to be, Vargas and Theresa out on a date? He looked way out of place with her, I thought. Didn’t seem comfortable in the new club at all. Isn’t she supposed to be in her early 20’s? and he has got to be way older than that.dvalParticipantis only 37 if you read Jason47’s announcement of her birth. It was in 1976. Of course not that it has anything to do with the show but that is what he said. Jennifer Horton was born in 1976. Which of course means she could not possibly have a child who was 20 unless she was 17 for her first childbirth.
dvalParticipantI think EJ just wanted to bring her something that would make her feel good and give her confidence. But that dress just didn’t fit her. It pulled everywhere on her, every time she stood up she had to shimmy it to the right place. I don’t understand why people think more than skin tight clothing looks good, no matter how thin you are. Not to mention being uncomfortable.
