that’s another issue I have with Brady. He says he only knows what he saw…well all he saw was Nicole at the bottom of the stairs. He didn’t see Jen push Nicole and yet he is going around talking as if he "saw" the entire incident, which is not true. I think that’s why I found it appalling that he would go and try to convince Jennifer that she did something she didn’t do.
I cannot believe the speed with which Roman threw Jennifer in jail. No formal investigation, nothing, just toss her little blonde butt in the can. With all the horibble things EJ has done and Stefano they cannot be locked up with all kinds of proof but a woman grieving and half out of her mind tells them a story and they just go and believe it. Jeez, well I guess that’s what happens when you cut salaries so badly that the good cops all leave, LOL. you don’t have enough people to investigate so just throw em in, lock em up and convict all those really bad people in Salem like Jennifer.
I just cannot believe that Brady would try to convince Jen that she is "mis-remembering" what happened between her and Nicole. How long has he known Jen? I would have tossed him to the curb myself. How can he be so sure about what happened? Just because ever truthful Nicole told him the story? Puhleeeze.
Does anyone know how long we have to wait for the truth about the baby to come out?
I googled Alzheimer’s treatment facilities and basically what I got was that they are places where caregivers are trained on progressoin of the disease, what to expect, how to handle the patient in the various stages and also the patient learns what is happening to them and what they can expect, things they can do to help prolong their memories, medications they can take and side effects, etc. In other words, not a treatment for the disease but rather training on what to expect and how to cope. That being said, it is so totally wrong to have Peter leave this way. Although it does have him once again playing the part of a "hero", so to speak. It will be very interewsting to see what happens when Caroline comes back and he is not there. THere is no really excellent explanatoin for that, in my opinion.
I don’t think she screwed things up. Rafe was unreasonable in expecting more from her than he was wiling to give. Knowing how much she dislikes Nicole, and knowing that he had already told "princess" Carrie what happened, he should have told Sami. At least she found out now about Carrie knowing instead of having Carrie come back and tell her she was relieved that Rafe finally told Sami what was going on or some such of a thing. At least she kept it on a fairly neutral level, none of the screaming, ranting fits we have seen from Sami in the past. she just zinged Rafe pretty good and left.
As far as all this with nicole, I keep going back to Jen tellling Brady that men turn into sheep, I think, around Nicole and she didn’t know why. Daniel, Rafe, Brady now jumping on the anti-Jen bandwagon/pro-Nicole bandwagon, proves Jen was right. And what will all these white knights do when they find out the truth about the baby’s death? I think they should have to do a lot of soul searching to see what made them so susceptible to Nicole’s wiles. Her poor little me routine is getting stale because she is mostly alone because she never learns and never changes. Even now, in her grief, her thought is to blame Jennifer so she can keep Daniel for herself. Although I am sure it will be dismissed as transposition – she feels she is to blame for her baby dying because she must have done something and cannot face it so she blames someone else. I don’t mean to sound cold about her losing the baby because I think it just about the most cruel thing the writers have done in a while, but she never seems to be held responsible for her actions. And she always seems to get a pass whereas Sami is the one criticized for never changing. I would like to see Nicole grow up a bit. She was good with EJ. she was still scheming Nicole but with different purposes other than self fulfillment.
as I said elsewhere (I think this was a double posting) she needs time to regroup after EJ dumped that on her in front of Rafe.
that he trusted Carrie more. After he told her he forgave her and trusted her now to get their lives back together he kept that secret. A secret he kept for Nicole, who, let’s face it is not the most trustworthy person in Salem. but he agrees to keep her secret. I kinda think I would be mad initially, too. she needs time to cool off after smug a** EJ plopped that on her.
Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly despise EJ any more than I already do he goes and does something even lower than low like what he did yesterday. Using Nicole like that when she is drugged up and grieving for no other end than to break up Sami and Rafe is just despicable. Nobody is ever going to make me believe he loves anyone better than himself and the only needs he looks out for are his own.
I know a woman who was in her 8th month and went to the doctor and there was no heartbeat. And if I remember right the same thing happened to the actress Katey Sagal when she was on Married wtih Children.
I think AZ is a tremendous actress but I really couldn’t feel for her as I did for Bo and Hope because she almost seemed to plan this out once she discovered her baby was dead. She and EJ were so right for each other that I certainly hope they put them back together. she was a better person, still scheming, but she knew her end goal. Now she is just floating looking for any man to take her under his wing. Ej at least let her be herself. And she didn’t have to try and be someone else for him. Nor him for her. they were actually perfect, perfectly awful LOL, but perfect together.
I would really hate to see nicole get away with this again. I do feel sorry for the character being put through this so many times by the writers but I think she needs to start living in the real world instead of her daydream world of a white picket fence with the man of her dreams who doesn’t really love her and who she conned into marrying her by lying about the other woman. Will she ever learn that happiness gained by lying is not true happiness?
the computer system was down when she had her visit so they did her records on paper, which they made sure to mention several dozen times. Then Nicole picked up her folder, took it with her and tore it up. so except for the doctor there is no one to say that the baby was already dead. and as I recall the doctor will have suddenly departed for something like a Doctor’s without borders sort of medical excursion.
when I saw today’s episode. But won’t that make for a very short storyline for Caroline? I thought they were going to make that a major story on the show, but I guess not.
These spoilers are contradictory aren’t they? If she is going to keep it a secret that her baby has died then she cannot get Jen arrested for murder, right? And who is she keeping it a secret from? Daniel? EJ? Rafe? Oh wait, her baby is probably dead in utero and she falls down the steps and blames Jen after the fact to keep her from Daniel, I guess. (Lightbulb over that last sentence, LOL)
I feel bad for Nicole. She really wanted this baby. but maybe the new writers didn’t want to have to deal with another "hide the baby from the baby daddy" again. It will also make it easier for Sami and Rafe to get back together and now Daniel has nothing to worry about career-wise. But still they could have just let Nicole ‘fess up to EJ and go on from there. Poor Nicole.
