I wish I could share your enthusiasm but for my part I’m not that interested in seeing John and Marlena at the forefront again. Maybe it’s just because their recent past storylines have been so forgettable but I just don’t have that warm cozy feeling for seeing them every day. I know, I know it’s not a popular sentiment but it’s just how I feel about them. Also, on a purely personal note, I just want to scream at John to clear his throat and speak up when he’s on. That whispery thing just drives me nuts, LOL. Was there a time when that was considered sexy?
BUT t hat doesn’t mean he wanted her forever, which is how she seems to feel. Although it is kind of a scuzzy thing to do to a pregnant woman who is already pretending that she is pregnant by another man, LOL. And as I recall it was simply to keep EJ from his child which I always thought was kind of a mean trick for Daniel to help on since he had lost so much time with Melanie due to lies.
And as I recall at first none of us were sure if she was playing Daniel to get his assistance or not, or am I mis-remembering? That all seems like such a very long time ago.
But Nicole read more into the encounter than what it really was, by your description Goody, which would be rebound sex. Now, as usual, Needy Nicole who can’t go 5 minutes without a man in her life (sound like a description of anyone else you all love to hate?) thinks she is going to have the perfect life living a lie with a "good guy" that she has put on the road to ruin by getting him to go along with her story. In that respect, Jennifer is absolutely correct…Daniel’s career could be over if it is discovered he backed up Nicole’s lie but Nicky doesn’t seem to worry about that, probably never crossed her mind.
And Jen isn’t "spreading" gossip to anyone but the involved parties. And knowing what EJ plans to do, don’t you think she should give Daniel a heads up, just in case it happens to be true? how would it look after the fact if she didn’t tell him?
all I can say is that if these shows based everything solely on reality no characters would be left to watch. They used to say that to enjoy, the audience had to have a "willing suspension of disbelief"! I think that’s what we need to do, just go with the flow a little more and stop looking for reality. I mean there is plenty of that on television these days if that’s what you want.

My impression is a guy who dislikes himself for what he did and only upset with himself for being so foolish, not angry but unwilling to believe anyone could forgive himi for what he did.
I didn’t find him boring. I was happy to see him back and thought he grew up really well. I remember him as a nerdy kid and he looks like a more mature man now. And come on lynnekaren, he was only on for a few minutes. Give him a chance. He may grow on you.
I had kind of forgotten all that about Nick and Melanie to be honest. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. but I stil think it was odd that it wouldn’t occur to her that Mel hadn’t been receiving mail for quite some time, LOL.
about the aftermath of Will and Gabi so I think we should wait until we know what is happening before we start bashing the new writers.
that’s what I thought "twin" in the sense that everyone has a twin out there somewhere was what Ian meant, not a biological twin.
the dead person was Paulo, a twin to Stefano that he had searched the world over to find? Or some grandiose line like that?
whatever bombshells Ian drops are part of the reason that Bo leaves town? Or whatever happens to Bo that he is no longer around.
