March 9, 2012 at 1:57 pm in reply to: Okay I have two questions about today’s episode….(Thursday) #31647dvalParticipant
I tried a couple of times but couldn’t find the thumbs up sign they said to click on.
dvalParticipantI thought the same thing. Really simple but looked terrific and sophisticated.
dvalParticipantI had blocked that vision out of my memory but you are right mommy. But then mommy is always right isnt she?
dvalParticipanthow can they keep her pregnancy a secret? If she stays in Salem everybody will know and EJ is the only guy she’s been with unless she (gasp) lies and tells hm she was with Brady while they were together and…oh wait, hasn’t Sami already done this story before?
dvalParticipantinteresting. Kate will have to stop ragging on Sami VERY VERY soon if that is true and she knew. Although in my mind’s eye they do seem to have some facial similarities, not identical but generally.
dvalParticipantI thought it was a bit much. Thought they were going to go at it right there but isn’t that how Days does all their sexy scenes? Hot, heavy, right to the point, no foreplay at all. I had hoped it would be a little more tentative on Will’s part considering it was his first encounter. But maybe it was just grief sex, like his mother had with EJ LOL.
dvalParticipantYou crack me up Patti. Although I have to admit I felt kinda bad for Stephano when that tear rolled down his cheek.
dvalParticipantVictor would have looked into Madison’s background before they bought her company. How in the world did she keep this marriage hidden so well? and Ian, well like somebody said, if he is such a successful businessman how come Victor didn’t know more about him already? and how did HE keep this marriage a secret? I think there is way more to this story, or at least I hope so!
dvalParticipantMost notably at the moment Jennifer and Abe. These are two people who NEVER in the past would have done anything that didn’t REEK of integrity. But now…they are both guilty of getting down in the mud with EJ. And why? Just to allow this stupid plot of Will setting up the voting scandal and making Will a lost boy, just like his mother is a lost girl. I really kept hoping for better, and it was for a while, but now…and what do we have to look forward to? Carrie/Abigail and Austin, oh yea rolling on the floor laughing when Jack told Jen he wanted Abby to talk to a woman closer to her own age, and Rafe/Sami/Carrie which I swear will make me violently ill to watch. Especially if they reunite Sami with one more of her exes (Lucas?). Or Maybe they will redeem themselves and let Marlena and Lucas make Sami grow up. But I doubt it.
Sorry again. this was suposed to go under Patti’s post.
dvalParticipantbut Marlena, as both a parent and a psychiatrist, should know better than to show favor of one child over another. As far as Marlena being away for 80% of Sami’s childhood, well in fact she has been away for 80% of Sami’s adult crises including being forced to have sex with EJ, being pregnant with twins who had two different fathers, thinking her child died. etc…and Marlena never made any attempts to be there for her. Maybe that’s why Sami can’t have any long term relationships even when they are good..she is always waiting for the other person to leave her .Even when she came back, Marlena has really shown no interest in Sami, only Will. John has shown more interest in Sami’s kids than Marlena has. Now I’m not saying Sami is right. I’m just saying if you are going to make excuses for Carrie, well there are plenty of excuses for Sami floating around out there, LOL. And it just amazes me that Carrie is supposed to be forgiven and let bygones be bygones when nobody wants to do the same for Sami. If Carrie were as mature and stable as she claims to be, she wouldn’t have been trying to suck Rafe’s tonsils out. JMHO of course.
dvalParticipantis trying to play everyone to his own end, whatever that may be. Perhaps to destroy EJ and Nicole’s relationship as well as Sami and Rafe’s (kind of like his mother, LOL). If he thinks that hurting everyone else will ease his pain he only needs to look at his mother’s life for clear picture on that.
As far as Sami goes, I have never been a Carrie lover. Well maybe years ago when Andrea Barber played her as a little girl, but since then…blechhhh. She always carries such a holier than thou air about her when, as Sami pointed out, her background is not pristine either. And I think Sami’s overblown reaction has to do with her own guilt. I believe I read somewhere that Marlena helps Sami bring her guilty reaction into clear focus sometime this week or next.
dvalParticipantcould make me want to put up with EJ. But it was gorgeous
dvalParticipantIt always seemed like Carrie was more important to Marlena than Sami was and that is so deep-seated it will never go away, I don’t think. If Sami ever finds out Marlena told Carrie that lip-lock with her brother in law was innocent, she’ll flip. Although I have read some things…left for the spoiler board, LOL. And I have to say that Carrie annoys the heck out of me with her "I’m so much better than you" attitude. She always seems like she is floating above Sami, looking down on her poor little half sister. But I think it was quite telling when Carrie made the remark about why Sami invited Austin in to the loft…maybe Carrie was looking to "get back" at Sami by making out with Rafe.
DARN this was supposed to go under Patti’s post…I never do this right.
dvalParticipantSince we saw him pass out after the first kiss it would have to be another DOOL episode of "rape" .
dvalParticipantIt was the first thing I thought of! "Austin, you dumb@@@, you have all your clothes on!"
