I think you’re right Patti. I think she has come a great distance in the last year or so. and am willing to forgive her occasional lapses as long as she progresses from there. And when she ends up a responsible gainfully employed businesswoman everyone will probably think she’s boring!

If they only did realistic storylines they would never had become as popular as they did. People watched soaps, in the good old days, to escape reality not to see more of it. Or at least to live a reality they never would dream of living. IMHO, of course. I took the scene for what I felt it was…another opportunity for Sami to learn and mature a little bit more. Stretching the imagination? Maybe. But helping move the Sami maturation thing along, I think so.
dvalParticipantsince Madame took up with Quinn and forgave him for helping Carly.

She was only looking to find her own health information, not trying to change somebody elses or switch DNA or anything like that. She was only trying to find out about herself. Can’t say as I blame her. I would be feeling a little antsy myself., LOL. She just ducked when she heard Rafe come in. And he got it, didn’t guilt trip her or make her feel bad. That’s what is making Sami a better person and each little thing she does she learns from her ability to rely on Rafe that she can count on somebody else besides herself. Maturity is not an overnight process, and it takes some longer than others, LOL.
dvalParticipantMy husband was watching with me today and I said the same thing to him. Who would leave a person in a coma obvviously needing an IV, in her street clothes? And when they said she had severe head trauma I burst out laughing since her hair and makeup and face were absolutely perfect. And I don’t remember Brady lifting her up and coming up with blood on his hands from the back of her head.
dvalParticipantis a real person. I’ms thinking that’s who they mean since it was capitalized. It’s a cable show, forget which channel. Guest visit I am thinking. It all sounds really great and I’m looking forward to it. I just wish they would have kept Dario. He and Mel were good together.
dvalParticipantalmost too much to watch. I think they need a younger male figure to be able to step up and go toe to toe with EJ but I don’t like the way they went about changing Brady.Instead of making him more decisive they simply made him cruel. Even the way he was talking to Nicole in today’s episode. I would’nt stick with him if he spoke to me that way. They need to lose the anger and just make Brady a shrewd businessman.
dvalParticipanton the season finale of Fran Drescher’s new show, Happily Divorced? Dang, he looked good. Even had a little goatee and boy was he buff.
dvalParticipantFrom withdrawal?
dvalParticipantActually I think it was the body language that Sami used that brought back those memories of immature Sami. She crossed her arms and got all stiff backed. If she had seemed a little more dismayed, more dejected body language, like she was trying to convince herself that it wasn’t true, it might have come across differently. But I thought overall she handled it well and rather like an adult, LOL.
dvalParticipantand personally I didn’t find her reaction all that unreasonable. I believe they call it denial when you are given news you don’t want to hear. I know many people who would immediately react the way Sami did, doubting, questioning. . And why not question Lexie initially..she is a DiMera after all. But it was all deflection to give herself time to deal with the facts. People do it all the time.
I disagree with people who think she is still the same old Sami. Same old Sami would have been Nicole pretending to be pregnant desperately trying to cling to a guy who she didn’t really trust to love her. But she finally came to grips with her situation and good for her.
dvalParticipantfrom these comments. I thought it would be neat for Viv to ride of with Ivan who I thought she really always beloned with. But I guess it is done in a cheesy manner judging by these comments.
dvalParticipantapparently got the job and started it 5 seconds later so it could be the same day, LOL.
dvalParticipantthat John can walk. In the beginning of the promo he comes in in the wheelchair but when they take him away he’s walking.
dvalParticipantand when Missy said "Jack" the way she always did, half loving, half ticked off. I was even glad to see J&M even though I was not the big fan everybody else was (PLEASE don’t throw stones at me LOL) And the Horton Town Center! Wow finally a place where everybody can interact. Maybe we’ll get to see more variety of interactions now among the actors.
