My comments had nothing to do with EJ/Sami or Rafe/Sami. They were totally about

Arianna. I don’t understand how she can feel sorry for EJ and think that Hope is a total criminal who deserves years of prison. I know you love EJ and can see no wrong in him but I just don’t get Ari’s point of view. What he did was wrong on so many levels and thinking he could build a relationship on a lie…well it just doesn’t work. As Sami has found out tme and time again.

Yes he made me feel a little sympathy for him. Sami was terribly wrong the way she handled the Grace situation. BUT…there is just something about this character that always makes me think he is just waiting for the next chance to do something underhanded. I really don’t think he can be trusted. I think he will always be looking for the next excuse to do something cruel and to use his feelings as the reason why it was okay. I mean, did he ever acknowledge that his actions forced Sami to not let him know about the baby? I mean, come on, he forced her to have sex to save Lucas but he seems to have conveniently forgotten his nasty part in all of this. Just knows what Sami did wrong to him.  Sorry, don’t trust him, never have, never will.

And sorry folks, but there is something about theh way his mouth turns down at the sides, he always looks like he is pouting to me, LOL. Makes me want to smack him!

I’m thinking the incompetent nurse at St. Mary’s input the incorrect information in the first place. Someone reviewed it and corrected the info. NOW there are people who think that Phil is the real father but really and truly Daniel is.  Wouldn’t that be fun, for a woman in salem to have a baby and the daddy is really the daddy?

I thought Chloe told Carly it was Philip she slept with so Carly would know how many lives she would be messing up if she told. That’s why Carly agreed to keep quiet as long as the baby was really Daniel’s. Right?

Also it doesn’t matter if she had the other guy’s DNA, like I said before. All she needed was Daniel’s DNA. The test, for Carly’s purposes, only has to show whether or not Daniel is the father. If his DNA matches the baby, so be it. If not, she doesn’t really care who the daddy is. If Daniel’s DNA doesn’t match then the guy Chloe slept with is the daddy. She doesn’t care about anything except if Daniel is the daddy.

Nicole had a miscarriage early on, rigth? So how could Sydney be hers?

Even in the writers’ warped minds?

Well if they had Daniel’s DNA only the results would simply say whether or not that sample was from the father so if it says no, then Philip is the daddy. Of course, maybe Philip supplied the DNA for the test since he knows about the paternity test.  Of course Stephanie has no way of knowing what sample is being used so if it says no  match it might mean Daniel IS the father and she wouldn’t know. They really only need one gent’s sample since they are limited to two choices, at least we hope so.

    Whew.  This is ridiculous.

I assume Hope is going to be unseen for a while and now we have EJ at death’s door. More "time away" for the higher paid actors like when Peter Reckell was off for a while.

I can’t feel sorry for Nicole. How old does a person have to be before they stop getting a pass on their behavior because of their youth? She knows the truth about the Sydnapping and even though she claims to love that baby and feels badly about Sami’s anguish, 5 Million bucks will keep her quiet, instead of doing the right thing which would have gone a lot further to get Brady in her corner which is what she claimed to want all along. Nope, no sympathy here for Nicole. And as for Rafe, well I blame this stupidity on the writing. He could have just gotten her drunk, like someone else said, but no, the writers had to find some way to make him look like the bad guy when in fact Nicole and EJ are the real nasty pieces of work.

Boring storylines could be the answer. I’ve said it before and I will say it again…This show needs to connect more people instead of having these very isolated storylines that only involve 2 or 3 characters and never go anywhere.

Everyone in Salem is connected SOMEHOW and there should be more large plot storylines. Even the nighttime Hope storyline, which had the potential to connect lots of people, never followed through on that. A day or two on each victim and then boom, forgotten.

This is really just soooo stupid. I thought the same thing when she said she didn’t want to put her daughter through a trial.Oh great, but let mommy go to jail and now Ciara can go live in the "bad" house with the daddy that Hope wanted her kept away from and the nasty lady who moved in on daddy. DUMBBBBBBB!

However, this is another case of Hope’s blind eye when it comes to Ciara. Everything she did with Ciara’s wellfare as the excuse has backfired on her and this is just one more case of that. With a good lawyer she would probably be able to plead a deal and possibly avoid jail all together as long as they can prove it was the pills, especially since this is not a case of a druggie who was strung out on cocaine. This was someone who had a bad reaction to a legal drug. Yes the anger was the motivator but without the pills she would never have acted on it.

I was thinking that the other day. Kate and Stephano really seem to care about each other and appear to have one of the best, most stable relationships in Salem at the moment! Now how sad is that?

That’s what I was thinking Pammydog. Might be interesting.

As for the time line…well easier to believe Chad is Tony’s son than Stefano’s, I think. Stefano is like what 100, LOL. According to that video he knew Madeline when she was VERY young except she"saved" his life so I am sure he had a hand in her education, law school and all, so they kept in touch BUT if you’re talking about the time warp, well, it is a real stretch to think Stefano fathered Chad. Madeline had to be what, 40-45 (in real people’s timie)? so that means Stefano would have had to be with her AFTER she finished law school and somehow I don’t see her doing that. In my opinion of course. Just think it would be fun if it was Tony’s son for all of Pammydog’s reasons.
