Just to clarify Carly’s return has done nothing for me, so don’t get the impressoin that I want her and Bo together. Just saying, I understand where Bo could be coming from. He has made mistakes but Hope is unwilling to let them go and anyone who is in a marriage knows that stuff is not good for a relationship.
I didn’t see the outbrust yesterday but I have to disagree with you. How many times over the last 5 years has Hope basically turned Bo out in the cold. It seemed as if she was just waiting for the proverbial "one more thing" so she could lash out at him yet again. When Carly showed up she was warm and willing and ready to love Bo instead of always criticizing him. I especially have little sympathy for Hope since the kidnaping when she tried to blame Bo for everything and then foolishly let the kidnapper right into her home. She never owned up to her stupidity just tried to make Bo feel even more responsible even though she was the major player in that little incident.
Actually at the funeral when she went on and on about wanting to be the woman her grandmother was I almost laughed. Alice would never have gone off on Tom and been so unyielding for so long. She has a lot to learn when it comes to being like Alice, I think, even though Tom and Alice did have their moments LOL.
I don’t remember the original scene with her and Philip (and take a potty break when the endless re-run comes on). Was she telling the truth when she told Carly they used protection?
trying to talk some sense into Sami. This is what the show has been missing, the family connection, everybody sticking their nose into everybody else’s business. Now I can’t wait for Kayla to come back and read Stephanie the riot act for her little trick she tried to pull on Nathan.
I really didn’t think Kate was coming on to Bill. I just thought she showed up with flowers, he was there and he started going down memory lane. I think it just affected her when he started talking about doing things diferently. And didn’t he say that he and Laura weren’t together againor did I just mis-remember that?
I think that the reason we have trouble liking anyone on this show anymore is because there are no morals, it seems. It’s hard to tell the good guy from the bad guy when nobody seems to have any moral compass.
The part I can’t figure out is why no one believes Chloe. I mean yesterday Carly told Chloe that she didn’t hear what she heard about the hotel and Daniel and Carly but twisted something else. Now what in the world would the girl have heard that she could have twisted into that story? I just wish the background of this made more sense. I understand her emotions being shaky after the non-pregnancy and finding out about Melanie and all that but WHY would anyone think she was making up these stories. I think Carly brings out the worst in everyone she is around.
The promo shows everyone at the cemetery putting flowers on the coffin and a huge picture of Alice. So there must be more to it than just a memorial service, right?
I found it funny and appropos in the moment. I took it as just a comment about a person in the news. Maybe I am just naive, but I don’t think that every time someone makes a comment it is meant to disrespect my beliefs or try to get me on their bandwagon. Whether you like Glenn Beck or not you have to admit that he is a media figure and does a lot to attract attention. He would probably be thrilled to find out that he had been mentioned on the soaps. And I like the idea of making the show seem more of this world, with a few comments here and there, as opposed to seeming like it is on its own planet, LOL.
How many men has Will been through with Sami? I mean, he’s a kid. It’s her job to support him, not vice-versa. And he is not being just a typical teenager, he is speaking the truth when it comes to Sami and her choices. She always seems to gravitate to the people who will ultimately hurt her and Will knows it. HE’s the one supposed to be making these mistakes, not mommy. He hates her choices, not necessarily her and maybe he wants her to grow up so he can enjoy being young. Criminey, she is just a character and sometimes I hate her, LOL.
I think she is exactly the same as she used to be! This is Calliope as she was. Saw Arleen Sorkin on a rerun of Frasier one time and she was nothing like this. I think Rafe just wants to be sure he has physical proof before he brings Anna back and the DiMera’s get to her.
She is a terrific actress and plays Nicole to the hilt but I do not like the character at all. Now we will see how far she is willling to go to get Brady back and yet again, Brady will excuse her because of her past. Sick of hearing about it. She is a grown woman who has had many experiences over the years and has yet to learn that happiness bought at someone else’s expense never lasts. In my opinion the character is simply selfish even though Ariana plays the vulnerability of Nicole very well. But I just don’t buy it. She is out for herself and doesn’t care who she hurts, still doesn’t understand why people won’t forget about her being a babynapper. And this thing with Philip making her a reporter, well, I for one wouldn’t be watching her, LOL.
