Maybe some local broadcasters have moved us ahead after the several preemptions that occured last year. I wondered how that would be handled.
I loved seeing them make up. They should have done this before. I could have done without seeing Justin chase Hope during the time she was good Hope/bad Hope on drugs. That was a little embarassing for him. He looked almost as desperate as Chloe.
Dr. Dan and Jen: no way! He had a lot of chemestry with Chloe but she is a nut case. Carly is the next choice and they do look good together. But I think Carly is doomed to always ruin every relationship she has by making a stupid but good-hearted decision. They need to bring in someone new for Jen or, if she gets involved with Dan, bring Jack back on the scene to remind her of what they had. Jack sounds like he has gone around the bend too. Maybe he and Chloe she meet.
That thing around the neck had my attention. I thought it was like a dog collar. But the actress is so beautiful she made it look much better than it would have on any ordinary girl.
I too thought she had a lot more spunk and more potential for story lines. The latest Stephanie is nothing like her dad or mom and acts like she is ready to develop a multiple personality (please, no!). She is so needy; I could believe a total mental break when Nathan leaves her. Writers: this might be a good time for Stephanie to grab her boot straps and pull herself to her feet again. A return to the spunky Stephanie would be very much welcomed by the fans.
After all, her mother and daughter deserve most of the blaim in this as far as the cover up goes. Mrs. Bardy committed a crime to cover the truth(which I still find very hard to believe); Stephanie covered for a very selfish reason. She has no faith in the love of the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with, and actually thought she could hold on to him with a lie. I think behind Kayla’s behavior is pure resentment toward Carly for being Bo’s lover when Kayla would rather her brother be with Hope. Which makes Kayla a busy body.
Melanie has been so certain that she would take the high road and has no understanding or forgiving for others who tried to protect their marriages with lies; I for another, hope that little Miss chief of the morals police finds that she is not a lot different from the rest of the world. I am NOT saying that what Chloe and Philip did was right, just that what they did was take that step down the slippery slope like so many others in Salem and everywhere else. for Sami and Rafe by having the whole thing turn out to be she was sleep walking and someone else saw her go in and came in behind her and pulled the trigger of a different gun after she walked out. The gun was missing from the case, but I don’t think they have done any analysis to show it was that gun that shot him, just one similar to it. She might have shot and missed and imagined she shot him. Anyway, the writers have been know to re-write a sceen later to change the whole thing around, like we have no memories.
James Scott sounds like he has contempt for those who make his job possible: the fans. I never liked the character of E.J. and thought at one time that he was moving away from Stefano. But he is still Stefano’s son through and through. I’m hoping that Chad will prove to be the son of Stefano that E.J. could never be: a son who walks his own path and doesn’t care what Stefano wants.
you notice people in the background don’t even turn and stare like normal people would(ha!). Sami and E.J. could have a knock down fist fight in the halls of Salem U. Hospital and I doubt anyone would act shocked. I am beginning to wonder what it would be like to have a sl that doesn’t include Alison Sweeney screaming and crying in nearly every scene. I really feel for her- with all tha contorted expressions she has to make, her wrinkles in 30 years will be deep as the Grand Canyon.
I thought for a while she and Victor would get together and be a super couple…but it looks like Victor gave up on her, and now she is a person I no longer recognize. I know we all have flaws, but this judgementalism and sneeky behavior just isn’t her character. Maybe she will have a big fall and return to her roots.
