Actually I would go for EJ & Adrianna. New, different, family connections. But how woudl Adiranna deal with EJ’s unhealthy obsession with Samantha when she’s already fighting over Brady’s suppressed love for Nicole?
Adrianna seems to be a strong girl who doesn’t NEED a "hero" in her life. While she’s not manipulative, I bet she could give Mr. DiMera a run for his money in a way that neither Sami nor Nicole ever could.
EJ is going to play the "hero" but I’m wondering if (at the same time) it’s all about to unravel on him. Stefano is getting curious. I REALLY want Rafe to put 2 and 2 together. Brady is going to chat with Nicole in a few weeks (?) and it will be one big race to putting all the clues together and figuring it out. Talk about a roller coaster for Sami’s emotion. Sydney is yours, Nicole takes Sydney, Sydney is kidnapped, Nicole goes to jail, Rafe will find her, EJ doesn’t want Rafe involved, On again, off again. Ransom note, SECRETS, blame, thinking she’s dead, EJ pulling the ol’ ransom note/keep it a secret scam again, maybe EJ showing up as Sami’s hero returning Sydney (instead of Rafe). (He can do what Rafe couldn’t!) And then BLAM! Stefano, Rafe, Brady, Nicole, Adrianna all figure it out at the same time and Sami either won’t care or won’t believe the truth and will stand up for EJ – the only one who has "been there for me" during this trial.
She grabbed her coat, purse, keys, but she didn’t unlock or lock the door when she left. She just opened the door and pulled it behind her. No deadbolt on the door, didn’t even appear to have a lock in the handle. Maybe I’m just looking too close.
And EJ – even if you share a child together – EWWWWW he went into her home without knocking or without permission. Of course she’ll forgive him. How could she hold an invasion of privacy against him when she seems to have completely forgotten about the coerced sex/rape.
KSee – It’s always something risque and a little off-color. A real *groaner* usually. Never as bad as what I’m THINKING it will say. Click on one sometime to get an idea. If you are repulsed – then you know not to do it again.
I think it’s great to bring back Judi as Adrienne. They can have all kinds of flashbacks as (hopefully) the couples sort each other out again. The last time we saw her as Adrianne she was helpign Steve recover from his latest 15 year "disappearance".
Judi & Wally are great and I hope the writers do it nicely.
Is suspend the SL for a day – bring back as many of the cast members who worked with FR – and tape them reminiscing some favorite FR moments – both personal memories and favorite Alice Horton memories (then show those clips). Maybe Peter & Kristen together, Suzanne, etc.
So that the tribute is NOT part of the storyline, but a real tribute/memorial to the actress and her longevity on the show as a leader, matriarch, etc. Some of the BEST lines, great scenes. Almost too much to just do one hour (actually 43 min – although if they could get a sponsor -could do it with limited commercial interruption.) Wouldn’t that be the best sendoff?
Then, with regard to the SL proper, they could just occasionally say how much they miss Mrs. H. – the real emotion that will come off on their faces will be enough.
I was wondering if they went with the actor because he physically resembles Sami (blonder, etc.) more than the other actor. Now that Lucas is out of the picture, you need the actor to resemble the remaining parent.
As for his performance, one day (haven’t seen today) isnt’ enough. I’ll give the kid (?) at least 4-6 weeks on screen. He needs time to develop the character in his own style, develop chemistry with the key players, etc.
I think the new site looks great. It’s going to take a while to feel "comfortable" but I have a feeling it’ll settle in nicely and I already love all the "new" people from the Annex board coming over.
This is a "format" question. Is here any way to flip the responses so the most recent post is at the end, not the top? I prefer to read in order of post and when I open the post it’s flipped so I’m reading backwards.
If there is not, no worries, I’ll muddle through until it begins to feel normal. But thought I would put the question out there. I don’t know if others have similar issues.
RE: Spoilers… can you make a topic heading "Spoilers" and anchor it to the top of the board so it never rotates down? Then if we want to post about and read spoilers, we can click on it, but those who want to remain spoiler free will not accidentally run into a spoiler.

It’s not the first time that Days has introduced a character and after he/she caught on wrote in a whole new family.
Who came first? Brandon or Nicole Walker? And then there was another sister. And did they all have different fathers? Because eventually we learned Brandon’s father was Abe Carver. Funny that during all those scenes with Nicole & Sami, the subject of Sami being married to Nicole’s brother never came up.
