Between the older stable couples and the younger couples. Alice & Tom and now Doug and Julie were older couples that functioned in SLs about their children. So they were interesting because of the SLs involving their children. You can’t get a Jen & Dr. Dan into that situation quickly. So they have to have issues that break them up and bring them back together. I think Bo & Hope would be now more at the stage of Alice & Tom, where triangle is not the way to go. They need interesting SLs that don’t break them up anymore. So I think it really is the stage of the relationship and characters.
First, she said the program she is in now is to get into the program to be a NP. She doesn’t have a degree so she needs the extra college credits to first get in. She has always been highly praised as being a very good nurse and I think she was at the top of her class. I think the SL is going to be eventually she is a Dr. They need to make sure the younger generation has some Drs in it since the hospital is a huge part of the show.
I think by now she would be 19, time flies. And to Daniel he probably had sex with Carly sometime around 20 years…so to him saying over 20 years would work.
That was a long time ago for Daniel, so I don’t think he is going to say the exact amount of time.
Rafe is not going to buy it. I still say this is going to blow up in EJ’s face at some point and someone is going to find out the truth. Something with Nicole has to solve something in this puzzle. This is too easy of an end to a SL and this SL is NOT over.
But Sami will never think anything of it, because emotion is going to take over. She will be so happy to see Sydney there is NO way she is going to question anything and I don’t blame her.
He wants to tell Mel before he tells anyone else. I think he wanted to talk with Chloe too, but Carly kind of got to her first. If he tells Victor it will be all over the place and Mel might find out before Daniel can tell her himself. I think he is handling this the right way and is not a hypocrite at all.
I have never liked Phillip, but I love Rafe and EJ! So wierd that I like one guy you like, but not the other and you don’t agree with me on Rafe. I like Dr. Dan, but never thought about Lucas. But an odd one for me? Jack. lol
Sorry gals, John or Bo have never really done it for me, but again, I am younger, so maybe that is it. I never saw them in their "young" days.
Something happens in them. I remember a lot of longer romances (Jack & Jenn) that were great. But things happened, moved, and didn’t repeat. With this Syndey SL it just seems to be dragging on and the same things, same conversations, same everything keep happening. I know it is because of Nicole, but they could have been a LITTLE more creative in this departmenet.
If any characters were going to kill ratings when they left it would ahve been J&M and it didn’t. No one character is going to kill this show. When J&M were on Soap Opera digest had them listed every week as the favorite characters and couples. Now it is Sami & Rafe. So how would dropping EJ who is not listed as a favorite character voted by the fans going to destroy the show?
I think the truth needs to come out in a way that Sami and her family knows, but can’t do anything about it to actually put EJ in jail. Then we need to see a break from this SL and EJ for a month or two and then maybe heat up a few custody battles etc. But I don’t EVER see EJ being with Sami, too much bad blood and I love Sami with Rafe. I trully think the show is going down a SAmi and Rafe pairing. If not they would have kept Lucas around.
I thought Rafe would figure this out. But I am thinking it is Stephano that gets to Nicole and basically gets her to remember Anna in return for getting her out of jail. This is all speculation and not spoilers.
With the knowledge they are delaying this SL so much, we know they are waiting for Nicole. Also, we know they have to get Nicole out of jail somehow and the only way I see it happening is if she helps and Sami has sympathy for her since she helped. So I can’t see Anna being the savior, I think she will be the scapegoat. And she is stupid, she should be taping some of her conversations with EJ.
Sami will be with Rafe, but I think since we have another two weeks or more until Nicole is back, that EJ will come up with a couple other things to throw their way before this is all over.

And honestly still wouldn’t mind her character being off canvas.
As for EJ, I do think I hate him more now and I don’t think he can be redeemed now. But who knows, that changes all the time. I do think a little less EJ on screen after this SL would be good. Give us a break from his evil for a couple months. Let us see a happy Sami for a couple months until the custody of her children heats up.
My wedding is at the beginning of May. So I should be available. Maybe we should move this to off-topic and talk about it closer to May. I live closer to the airport, but around Disney works for me, I am about 30 minutes from there, which we go out their often, so I don’t mind the travel.
Not sure about Bonbon though.
Well the economy in our area forced us to close the shop several months ago. Our area got hit really hard because it was a lot of new construction, investers, and we live in that stupid Army bombing range. So we have a ton of foreclosures in our area and many neighborhoods are 35% empty. So we didn’t have enough costumers. A bunch of places have closed in our area.
When is your conference in May? We have a wedding in May to go to in Houston, so not sure if I will be around. But if I am, we should convince Bonbon to come up too
