IzzyBParticipant
Did they really grow? How in the world did she have time to do that with her taping schedule. I don’t know and I won’t speculate. I didn’t see anything wrong with them when I watched today’s show. Of course I have larger breasts and sometimes mine look way too big. My one friend comments on them when she is around me.
IzzyBParticipantI think that is soooo in character of Viv. She is always so over the top and always way too confident for her own good. She is over confident that this will work and no one will find out, but she doesn’t look at all the pieces.
IzzyBParticipantI was just coming here to create a new topic with my speculation. I think Victor has been watching Viv very closely. Now that I think of it, it would be stupid for Victor to trust Viv when it comes to Mel. A smart guy like that has to know that Viv will not listen. So I think he did some investigating (heck he found out about her henchmen) and discovered her plan. I think that receipt was for a new comb without poison. I think Mel passed out for other reasons, not anything to do with the comb. Maybe nothing to eat and too much alcohol.
I am not sure how that is bad writing. Viv is crazy and thinks she can outsmart anyone. That is not bad writing, it is staying in character for Viv. She thinks Victor will see the "big" picture and forgive her. Because as she said, Phillip will easily get over this. I mean she is just messed up in the head, but she always has been.
IzzyBParticipantNow that I think about it, he did say something like that. And then someone, maybe victor said it probably won’t be the last. I guess since it was a different actor they are forgetting history? That is stupid.
IzzyBParticipantBut keep in mind this is Viv’s dream, this is what she wants Carly to do. Not what Carly would do. She thinks it would be sweet victory if her daughter died in her arms.
She wants Carly to look helpless, not know what to do.
IzzyBParticipantWhy would Viv imagine Carly trying to save her life, it is a much sweater dream having her watch her daughter die in her arms. Which can I say I am SICK of that daydream. We get it, Vivian is obsessed with this. She can’t wait for it to happen, etc, etc, etc.
Viv said yesterday that the only person that woudl suspect her is Carly and I think she feels no one will listen to Carly. She has no idea that Kate, Hope, Justin, Bo, etc all will suspect something and therefore look at her gift more closely. Honestly I don’t see this as bad wirting, I see this as perfect Vivian. She is in her own world most of the time and doesn’t realize stuff. She personally to me is a little off her rocker and therefore she wouldn’t think of getting caught, she thinks all of her plans are perfect. So it is not bad writing, it is a character who is bad at plotting things – lol
IzzyBParticipantI think it was a thought in her head, but as soon as Ari talked to her she changed her mind. I kind of understand her thinking, but not totally. When I get pregnant my husband will know for sure, but I plan on not telling anyone else until 12 – 14 weeks. I have a higher risk of losing the baby, so I have no desire to get my mom, sister, his parents, his sister, etc excited until I get past the more dangerous first trimester. I may have to get it off my chest and say something here, but it is much more different. In person if you lose a child you have to face people who don’t know what to say and normally make it worse by talking about it. I would rather not have to deal with that. I know my mom is going to be somewhat disapointed that I didn’t tell her sooner, but she is going to be so excited I don’t think it will matter much. I think once I explain why I waited, she will be more understanding. Heck we haven’t told anyone we are having issues getting pregnant, they just think we aren’t trying. It is much better than getting the sympathetic looks from them.
February 11, 2010 at 3:01 pm in reply to: OT – how many of you are home today because of ‘Stormzilla’? #10406IzzyBParticipantWe keep one in our upstairs bathroom all the time. She never tells us when she needs to go instead she runs upstairs and goes on her pee pad. We take her for walks sometimes, so she does get outside. But the constant taking her outside would be a pain since she refuses to go to the bathroom in her own yard. It is also great when we leave for an entire day, because then we don’t have to worry about her holding it too long or having an accident.
It actually does not get that expensive. We buy the generic brand (which I actually like better) and we buy them in bulk (200+ at a time) and so it works out to be about .20 a pad. Which we use about two a day, so about $73 a year. I can handle that over walking her every 6 hours. She came paper trained, so holding it is not something she will do. I just couldn’t stand newspapers, so I was very happy when we found the pee pads.
IzzyBParticipantVivian felt safe because Carly didn’t know she knew. But when she discovered that Carly was outside I think she figured it out. So she wants to make sure Carly is at a safe distance and based on the days ahead previews at the end of the show, she wants Carly to see everything.
February 11, 2010 at 2:06 am in reply to: Captain Phill Harris of the Cornelia Marie has passed away… #10382IzzyBParticipantIt was very sad news. I loved him on the show, but he really did not listen to the Dr. So you knew it was just a matter of time. I hope this really turns the other captains lives around. They are all friends, so I am sure it is a devastating lose to all of them.
My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.
IzzyBParticipantWe really appriciate it!
IzzyBParticipantI loved it too!! Then his interaction with Henderson was even more funny. Great scene, I love how Victor can add humor without going over the top.
IzzyBParticipantIt was 44 degrees where I was last night and I thought that was cold, so I can’t imagine 9!!!! Well I can because I used to live up North and I wouldn’t have done what I did last night in 9 degree weather.
I was on the space coast watching the shuttle launch. We were in our sleeping bags for about 3 1/2 hours waiting for it. It wasn’t too bad, but man was my nose cold!!!! Luckily our sleeping bags work down to 40 and we had those thermacare heating things we put at our feet. Plus we had our dog, which she is a personal heater when you get her under the covers. When new people would come up, of course she would get out of he covers to see them or if she was too lazy she would bark from under the covers. Which was funny because the people were like what the heck where is that coming from – lol Overall she was good, in fact most people didn’t realize there was a dog until she fully came out at the launch time and they were like, oh wow, look at the cute dog. She started barking because they were addressing her and then this one lady took a picture of her with a very bright flash. She starting blinking and shut up. She didn’t bark again, I don’t think she liked it and decided she should stop barking – lol
Luckily it went up, we were there the night before and it did not go up. I don’t think I could handle going out there again in the middle of the night. Night launches are cool, but not getting home until 5:30 AM throws off your sleep schedule.
February 6, 2010 at 1:51 am in reply to: Frances Reid, ‘Days of Our Lives’ matriarch, dies at 95 #10305IzzyBParticipantDays will try to get as many actors as they are able to. I don’t think another soap would allow an actor to play on Days. Mainly for ratings, because I imagine the funeral will pull in many viewers that have not watched in a very long time and Days may keep some of those viewers. Therefore, I don’t see Steve coming back. But I could see Jenn, Jack, Abby, Maybe Marlena & John, Doug, Julie, Melissa, Mike (which actor, the last one?), Laura?, and others I cannot think of now that are not on other soaps.
IzzyBParticipantSami and Rafe will get back together and I think Rafe will be the hero in all of this. Sami will realize she was wrong for not going to him from the beginning.
I also agree what EJ is doing is way worse. First of all, EJ went on with his life no the wiser, not hurt at all. But Sami knows she is missing a daughter. He is also effecting Johnny and Ali, which is just cruel, especially since Johnny is his son. He is not just hurting Sami.
