Great acting, great SL, great writing, everything when it comes to these two. I am really liking this whole Mel/Maggie SL with also the Viv/Mel/Carly SL that is slowly developing. Add in Nathan when Maggie starts drinking (speculation based on what I have seen) and this is going to be a great complex SL that will involve many characters.
I realize with Ari’s leave they had to drag this SL out a little longer, but seriously, maybe have it only on once a week. Because I don’t think I can handle Rafe and Sami having the SAME argument over and over. Nor can I handle EJ’s smug looks around Sami. It is just the same thing over and over and over. It is really tiring.
I think it will be Nathan and Mel that help Maggie. I think they will have some adult help with Hope, Bo, and a few others. But I am wondering if Mel and Nathan working together to help Maggie doesn’t bring the two of them closer. Also, Mel recently has been very nice to Maggie and said many times she is the closest thing to a mother, so I would think she would be very integrated into this SL.
I think they just assumed they were brother and sister because Trent was both of their fathers. Why would they do DNA? Trent didn’t deny it.
She mentioned that Lawrence made her give the baby to "that man" and she knew that he was evil. So if she knew who he was (Trent) then it would be pretty easy to track down who she was. She did mention something about tracking her down, so I imagine that is what she did. Find out what happened with Trent, find her daughter.
It might not be the writers fault. Sometimes they can’t get the actor or actress for that show. What if the actor is sick or not feeling well? When they get this up in age, you never know what the reasoning behind them not being onscreen.
There was no way they could have this SL move on too slowly. While I agree, there was a ton of potential with the Mia SL, they didn’t have the time to explore it. Phil and Mel’s wedding is next month and they have to have Viv find out before then. It wouldn’t make sense otherwise. I don’t think Mel will marry Phillip and the only thing that will make this complex is Viv finding out while she still adore’s Mia. And once the wedding is off, Viv will have no reason to like Mel. I also think Mel will find out soon too, because she has to find out before the wedding is broken off. Now I do think they will drag the wedding out until the actual wedding day, but that still at most is only a little over a month away. If they make the wedding the last couple days in Feb.
to me is a personal choice and I don’t think it shows immaturity. It shows your sense of style, which apparently is nothing for her – lol
As for the first dress, I actually wore the first dress I tried on for my wedding. I did try on 5 other dresses, but the first was always the one for me. My mom was shocked, she thought for sure it would take me FOREVER to find a dress. Of course she went through a lot with my sister and finding a dress, so I think she was expecting the same thing for me.
Now I do agree, that Mel belongs with Nathan.
It is a good SL, but it is starting to drag on a little. I am thinking the climax will be in Feb to match up with sweaps period. Which unfortunatly gives us a couple more weeks…sigh. I am hoping they are not on every day so that the SL doesn’t drag just to pass time. Then they take a good SL and turn into a bad SL that no one cares about when it does end.
Someone said they would like to see Rage beat up on EJ, but I would rather see Sami slap EJ, that to me would be way better.
I also hope EJ loses the custody battle over this.
Do you think he suspects EJ now? Just the looks he keeps giving to me seem like he knows more than he is letting on. He doesn’t want to tell Sami, because she would flip. She might even give it up to EJ which would tip him off. I don’t know, just something about him lately tells me he knows more than he is saying. Or at least he suspects something.
Wouldn’t it be a fake kidnapping? Kind of like that stupid kid in a balloon story? He would have to get some kind of punishment for faking a kidnapping. Also, since no custody has been sorted out, EJ would not have the right to take the child without Sami knowing about it. Since she is the bio mom and nothing has been worked out in court, the court could do something to him. Also, this will not look good when Sami goes after custody.
