I don’t remember what the other one is called, but I know Holiday in Handcuffs has Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez. I have watched too many Christmas movies to know all of them by name though
While they never mentioned Frankie’s real name, they also never went against the SL. Meaning they didn’t talk about birth parents or anything else like that. So I don’t think they re-wrote history, they just never talked about their history.
Because why would EJ acuse Ari? That gets him nowhere, but looking stupid. I am sorry, if it is EJ, then he would be acting differently. He would "act" upset and go after leads with others, but he would not accuse random people that no one suspects.
It could be Kate working with Anna, Anna working on her own, or like someone else said a long time ago, maybe Tony is alive? Maybe Anna doesn’t realize it is Sami’s child, because I think she is trying to hurt Stephano, not the Brady’s.
The character of EJ is great and I have always liked him on the show. I just have never wanted him with Sami. I really hope they find a good match for him, maybe Ari. Or maybe someone new.
Hope is being difficult. I have said before, whatever happens with Bo and Hope is her fault. She has acted unreasonable from the beginning of the kidnapping until now.
I still would rather have Bo and Hope come back together and Carly to move on with someone else though.
And I agree at times the teens have ruled the screen. But lately they have done a very good job of balancing everything out. They have a good mix of older generation SLs, middle generation SLs, and teenager SLs. I don’t have any issues with the canvess right now and the age groups. They also seem to have a good mix of airtime AND they are mixing the generations and those SLs very well. I think that is why the ratings are going up, because we don’t have these single SLs that don’t mix at all. We have Maggie talking with the younger generations and giving them advice. We have Gabby involved with Rafe & Ari. There is so many examples I am not going to list them all.
You have to remember, Days is a show for everyone, so it has to have SLs for everyone. I personally have liked many of the teen SLs in the past, but I also like many of the older character SLs. But then again, I am different than most people. I like watching Disney, while I also like Hallmark and Lifetime – lol
OK, so I think I figured this out.
Anna is mad at Stephano for Tony and she believes that Stephano was Tony’s downfall. She doesn’t want Sydney to go through what Tony did. It is the same theory that Sami had by hiding the pregnancy.
I think her grief is not letting her think straight that she is also hurting Sami. I just don’t think she is thinking straight, not that she is crazy, she just is not thinking straight because of the grief of Tony.
Now how she found Nicole, that I have no clue.
I think what made Sami and Lucas such a great pairing is they knew how to have fun and be funny. They had some great funny scenes and it was because of Lucas. But they never could keep that couple that way, they always had to have them regress and be the same old couple that never grew up.
With Dr. Dan, Carly, Scotty, Nathan, Mel, Stephanie, and Lexie we would have a real hospital staff going on. I think this could be some great SLs. How about bring back Scotty without Faith (because I know bringing an already made couple back would be dumb) and eventually pair him up with Carly? Maybe a Carly/Justin/Scotty triangle. Maybe eventially bring Faith back to mix up the pot? I loved that pairing and really hated when they left. But that was so long ago, that most viewers wouldn’t remember it. Hence why I think Scotty by himself at first.
Let me start with, I was a HUGE Lumi fan all the way until Rafe came into the scene. I hated Sami and EJ together. Now, onto my comments.
The only person Lucas has ever had ANY chemistry with is Sami. Every pairing they have done with him has not worked, except Sami. The issue is, now that I see Sami with Rafe, I see this mature woman. She doesn’t play her games any more and he has forced her to grow up. The relationship they have is Sami can tell Rafe anything, and he won’t flip out, get mad, or have this judgement tone. Because he hasn’t dealt with her that long, he doesn’t have this long history. Therefore, when things come up, he doesn’t go, Not again.
But when Lucas and Sami are together, I feel Lucas never let her grow up. Because any small thing she did, he was down her throat. She needed someone more patient that would allow her to go from this teeager mentality of playing games, to an adult. Therefore, I don’t see a Lucas Sami pairing ever working, because Sami would revert to her old self. The only way I would see it, is many years down the road after Lucas had a mature relationship of his own. If he had ever had chemistry with another character, I could see this as a possibility. But since he hasn’t, I don’t ever seeing him having this mature relationship.
Therefore, that leaves us with another "friend" character out there. I don’t want to see Lucas be another Roman (which with Roman, I think the writers are dumb because he has had chemistry with other woman) and therefore, I would rather see him be off the canvas. The only other way I see him used is that sounding board for Sami, but I would rather see Sami develop a relationship like that with a female. I actually like Nicole and Sami being friends and think it would be great if Sami has that with someone else.
We have had new families come and go throughout the years and no one replaces the Horton’s. They have even replaced Mrs. H with Maggie who is a Horton by marriage. So I don’t think the writers ignore them. In fact they brought Nathan on the show and he is a Horton.
I feel sometimes the writers cannot win. When Stephanie was always dating her "cousins" people had issues and said more people outside the core Bady/Hortons needed to be introduced to allow easier pairings. So now the writers bring in more families to allow easier pairing and people feel that a family is getting erased.
I would love to see more Hortons, but the cast can only be so big. Plus you have to allow for people to pair together without pairing up with a family member. I think days has done a good job reminding us the Horton’s are there with Maggie being a central figure right now, but balancing that with bringing in new families who can pair up with the Horton’s and Brady’s.
I personally like Rafe and I think he has brought a lot to the canvass. I also like Ari, and the jury is still out on Gabby because she is too new to decide anything about her.
This whole Storyline starts with Hope being an IDIOT! If Hope would take Bo back, there would be no issue with Carly. Bo would not feel neglected, left out of his own life (with Hope and Ciara), defeated, and rejected. Hope talks about feeling rejected when Bo didn’t want her to move in for her own safety, but look at what she is going to Bo now. I mean seriously, the only thing that will save their marriage is if Bo tells Hope this secret? Which what is the big deal? He has already told her multiple times this secret is not his to tell, it does not involve him, and it does not involve Hope. So my personal opinion is Hope has no right to ask Bo (a guy with integrety which is a quality she loves) to tell her this secret. If a friend told me a secret and told me to tell no one including my husband, I would not tell him. Plain and simple.
I understand this is a past lover, but at the time Bo thought Hope was dead. If he cheated on Hope to be with Carly, I could see Hope’s issues. But he didn’t, so this to me is like a past girlfriend before they were ever together. I have boyfriends from my past that I talk to from time to time and my husband doesn’t care. He knows that we broke up for a reason and there is nothing to be jealous about. Heck, my one ex came to my wedding and we went to his wedding. My ex and I learned we were better friends than we were ever boyfriend/girlfriend.
This SL drives me insane and personally until Hope has a major attitude change, I don’t blame Bo for any of this actions. He is hurt and feels very low right now. You can see he is frustrated and just going through the motions these days, because he doesn’t have a clue of what he did wrong or why he no longer has his family. Men who feel that way can do odd and strange things. Now on that note, if he jumps into bed with Carly, well then, that is a different story. Then he would become the idiot of this relationship. Until Hope says she wants a divorce and an official seperation, he has no right jumping into any other woman’s bed.
BTW, I loved Carly and Bo as a couple, but I see NO chemistry there now.
