And I am just now watching the last couple episodes of Smallville and Eric (Brady) was on one of the episodes, he did a great job.
One of the Mike actors is on Pretty Little Liars aned there was something else I was watching the other day, but I forget what I watching and who was on it.
Because really the networks pay for a season, but they are not part of writing. They may say you can or can’t show this, but overall the writing and ideas come from the staff on the show. Lets face it, people these days want to get their views out there, so many writers put their views in their work. It happens. I have been watching Law and Order:SVU re-runs and wow, they tend to touch on a lot of controversial subjects, I was surprised.
If the owners of the networks fully controlled everything played, I doubt a conservative based owned network like fox would play simpsons or family guy – lol
It is always around 4th of July and always causes Days to not be on the air and in the past they have done shows with the picnics and fireworks. Heck, Christmas is on the weekends sometimes and Days does Christmas shows. I just think it is the poor writing of the old head writer that caused this.
But I think most Huggies commercials are annoying. Funny, because most people I talk to they like Pampers better. We won’t use Huggies, Pampers are so much better. Someone got us Huggies for my shower and we couldn’t use them on our twins because they would always leak up the back with them and we hardly ever have that issue with Pampers.
You want to know what is REALLY funny. I am watching So you think you can dance (on DVR) while typing this and that commercial came on in the middle of my second sentence!!!!!
I agree that most of the SLs are WAY to slow and the SAME conversations over and over again. I am not sure why I don’t mind this part of the Rafe2 SL. I am excited to see new writers and I will give the show a fair chance when the new writers start. I am going to sit back and give them a chance for several months. Give them a chance to get their material fully playing and their SLs in full swing. I figure by Mid-November we should know what kind of writers they will be and whether Corday trully listened this time.
We agree with the Will SL, but this one I disagree. I like seeing all the puzzle pieces develop and them slowly coming together. Like adding Brady into the mix and how they need to resolve that issue while they also resolve this one to keep Brady out of jail and the fued between families to not start up again. I like how they added the twist of bringing Nicole in, but in the end she was no help. Overall I feel they have added stuff to this SL to slowe it down, but they haven’t repeated stuff. They are moving foward with new plans, hoping something will pay out so they can get EJ. We know in the end they won’t, EJ can’t go to jail. But we also know they can get far enough along that Brady also won’t go to jail and EJ won’t go after the real Rafe or Kirakis. We know they will get enough to threated jail and scare EJ into going with their demands. Lets face it, a Dimera cannot go to jail or a Kirakis for that matter. Because then they would have to leave the show and well, who doesn’t want to see EJ or Brady on the screen?
Did they re-tape anything. Because I thought by the time they took over all of July had already been taped. Which means we have another month before the new head writers took over. That is the month that scares me. Hopefully Dena didn’t have Will’s SL front and center in that month because the Rafe2 SL, Brady beating up EJ, and Carly’s drug problems should be the front and center SLs.
For once it is a SL that is not the same dialog. Things are changing like Nicole’s proof not being there, Brady beating up EJ and the implications of that within this SL, etc. I was surprised Bo & Hope found out about Brady so quickly, I thought that would drag, but it didn’t. I think because it now folds into this Story and you have so many pieces of the puzzle and it is just fitting them all together now. I am not minding the speed of this SL so far because new things are added to the equation.
Is that the old writers are writing the beginning of this SL. Because I fear it won’t be done properly or at the right pace. I hope I am wrong and it is done correctly, because I think it can be an awesome SL. Something different, exciting, and so REAL. No one is getting their face to look like someone else or be implanted with a chip – lol I am sick of those "different" SLs.
We were complaining earlier that the true EJ would get to the lawyer, so doesn’t it make sense that the lawyer was paid off? It goes with EJ and who he is. It also explains why he gloated being with Taylor in front of Nicole, because he had the proof taken care of. It makes total sense now and it is what we all wanted, which was the real EJ to show up and put Nicole in her place.
Unless he is going to be part of the Rafe SL. It just doesn’t make sense with Vivian and Chloe leaving. I woulde rather them keep Dario because he has ties to salem being Gabi and Rafe’s brother vs. having some guy with zero ties to any of the current characters.
Anna for Roman, that guy needs a SL
Shane and Kim, I know they were on recentely, but I would love to see them come back and some of their kids to mix in with Gabi, Sonny, and Will. Maybe one of the boys could be interested in Gabi.
Scotty, I loved him when he was on before. He could mix with the Sami/EJ/Brady age group. Maybe a possible live interest with Nicole which would really piss Julie off
I think Will is the perfect guy for this mission. First of all, just because you feel different, doesn’t mean you show that difference to the outside world. We are the outside world. Also, he has had a pretty messed up life, I mean he has felt different probably his whole life and chalk it up to his parents fighting and everything else that has gone on in his life. Will has always been this very nice person, especially around woman. He has treated them way differently than most men his age. To me it is almost like that best friend relationship at that age vs a true gf/bf thing. I mean he doesn’t push sex and it almost seems like he doesn’t want to do that. I mean lets face it, that is odd for that age group. I mean some men don’t push the woman, but they are normally working toewards it in their head one way or another. I see Will and this actor as perfect for the role and I think it will be MUCH more interesting see a core family member struggle with this and telling everyone vs a complete stranger. I like Sonny and I think he is also going to do well. And I think the dynamic between him and victor will be good, but I think Will’s coming out is going to be more interesting because of the dynamics he has with people now vs. later.
