I mean it was in front of his grandmother. At that age I wasn’t too into kissing my BF’s in front of my relatives. Maybe he feels uncomfortable with it not being in private. Or maybe the pressure of having sex is what is causing this to start to come out. Maybe he doesn’t want to have sex and that is starting to make him realize he is a little different than other men and that is freaking him out. I honestly don’t think it is totally out of the realm of possibilities.
I like some SL and some of the foundations of SL. I like the Rafe/Bo/Sami/etc SL and the speed of it is fine. I also love Maggie and Victor together and while I don’t want the relationship to move faster, I do want the repeat conversations to stop. I like how slow it is going, because that is real life. None of this jump into bed after two dates, proposed to after 5 dates, and married on the 7th date. I am so sick of those relationships!!!
We had a nurse in the Nicu that was just like Maxine. John and I loved when our kids were in the room with her for several reasons. One, she would never let the nurses on our babies make major mistakes. Two, she was pure entertainment, especially with the new fathers. I loved watching her with new Dad’s, because she told it like it was. I will never remember her telling one father who put his baby down after holding her for only 5 minutes because it was crying. She said, "It is a baby, they will cry"
And I am used to it and don’t mind it. It gets pretety good ratings and I know several people who watch it. I did when I was younger, but not now. But they can’t put it on ESPN, because ESPN is not basic cable. Major sporting events like this need to be on basic cable so everyone has access to them. That was a HUGE complaint about Monday Night Football moving to ESPN, because now not everyone can see it. It is my major complaint with games playes on NFL Network since my cable provider does not give it as an option. So I can live without Days for two days to allow all true tennis fans watch their biggest event of the year.
Of course for me I won’t get Tennis either, since I get stuck with Casey Anthony bullcrap
I think he is a good cast for Adrienne and Justin’s son. I love the scenes with him and Abby. I think he was a natural for this character and I think he will do a good job. I am excited to see this new SL develop with him, plus his chemistry with Victor is going to be GREAT!
Hopefully in August this stupidity should stop and this SL actually go somewhere. I love Victor and Maggie together and I am all for them not jumping into bed, but this is just ridiculous. How about they date for awhile and not have the same conversations over and over and over again. Maggie the other day even said the SAME exact thing in the SAME place as she said a week ago. Geez….
I think they should not be on screen every day like Taylor, but maybe 2 days a week at the beginning. I also don’t think they should be as backburner as Chad was for so long. What is the point of spending money and paying a a new actor to be that backburner for so long. Also, as a new actor, even if they were not paid for their backburner time, why would they stick around and not find a new job. I think there needs to be a middle ground between how slow Chad’s backstory was built and how fast Taylor was built. Because I also don’t like Taylor. Like I said, maybe 1 to 2 days a week would be good.
I think if somehow Rafe2 tries to kill her so EJ doesn’t find out about what he did to Fay, but I don’t think it will happen that way. Because there are too many months between when she is leaving (I am assuming in the four week transition starting in August) and now. Once EJ finds out what Rafe2 did, there would be no reason for Rafe2 to kill Taylor. I think it comes out to EJ and he has to live with the guilt while hiding his part in it to Taylor. Then it finally comes out and EJ has no one to blame but himself for Taylor leaving.
But not sure it would ever happen. But it would be very cool. It would also be interesting if Stephano didn’t die, but maybe was just not medically able to run the company, so eventually he recovers and Stephano and John have this battle per say. I love the dynamics of Stephano and John, maybe Stephano & John run it together somehow.
I think we should come up with all only positive posts.
Love this Rafe/Sami/Bo/Hope SL. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out. I think it will be interesting in the end because Sami has always been so involved in this stuff, but I think this is the first time they have crossed the older generation with Sami in fighting it. It has always been Sami on her own with her family giving her advice. So I love this working together thing. I love Bo and Hope back together with SLs that aren’t involving them breaking up.
I like Jen and Dan and am interested in how this SL plays out
I like Brady gone bad and am interested to see how this plays out. Wonder if Stephano/Victor battle will now be EJ/Brady battle. Younger generation taking over and how Victor and Stephano will react to it. Can be some interesting stuff.
I am so torn, I like Mel and Dario, but I did see sparks with Brady and her. So I think Mel and her guy troubles will be an interesting SL too.
Love all the good stuff coming out about Days, the characters coming back, the writing change, some of the charaters that are leaving, and some upcoming SL like Will being Gay. I think it is exciting times and I am very positive about how all this will play out into the Fall.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the old characters too. But I think they have had SLs too. Maggie and Victor are a perfect example of a SL going on while characters like Dario are being introduced. A new character has to be somewhat thrown in our face. They cant have a background SL developed without them being on the air. So I think that is why you see new characters on the screen a lot at first so their SL can be developed and we know more about them.
I don’t know, I guess I think we just need to be more patient to allow a character to develop before asking them to be thrown off the show. We can’t have everything we want, because a lot of what we ask for conflicts with stuff we don’t want. i.e. not wanting "cousins" to kiss, but no new characters not in the core family to be center stage.
It has been tough, but what has recentely saved us is the night nurse. We finally got a company that could staff us every night and therefore have been able to get sleep and get time in the evening with just one baby. During the day it is still really hectic with trying to work and take care of the babies, but we are slowly getting through it. We are hoping we can finally convince our insurance company to pay for 24 hour nursing for our son, because at some point our managers are not going to be so flexible and then we are screwed.
I have had some more time to myself because DH and I are doing a split duty thing that has been good. It allows me to get a little me time to come out and post here or catch up on days. Not much time a day, but just enough to get refreshed, so I don’t loose my mind as I was before.
I remember the thing with her leaving right away, but at the time I remember reading no one knew why, but it was sudden and she was upset with the show or something like that. I also remember the first time she came back it was such a surprise because of the way she left. I guess I never heard at the time about the affair. That is odd that Scott would be ok with this. Maybe they have grown so much that there is trust again and they have a more mature relationship? Who knows.
I never even heard of anything ewith Missy and cheating. Scott is an actor himself, so I don’t see why he would not let this stuff happen. Was the affair with someone she acted with? Because if not, I don’t see where the conflict with Scott would be.
Movies sometimes do the same thing. I remember in college we watched Dirty Dancing 50 thousand times, ok, so maybe only a 100 times. My roomate and I could not agree on music, but we could agree on movies. So we would play Dirty Dancing over and over again when we had English papers to write. We would watch the first one and then it was background noise for our papers. Other people would come in and out and watch it. But anyways, we watched it so much we started to break down the meaning of subtle things and one thing you notice is how they dress and the colors of the different characters and the meanings. You could probably do that with a lot of movies, so it wouldn’t surprise me that it is done on TV too.
