Several scans of interviews of Frances have now been posted. One is from 1993 and includes comments from Suzanne Rogers, Louise Sorel, Kristian Alfonso, Peggy McCay, Susan Seaforth Hayes and past castmembers on why they love Frances:
In some time zones, previews (and a few NBC ads) were cut due to time constraints (they needed an extra minuite at the end of the hour) for NBC News Updates on Haiti.
The contract was never up in March 2010, it was up in September 2010. Plus there’s an added year that will kick in through September 2011 if Days met some specific Nielsen ratings goals, which it looks like it has recently.
The photos were of John Clarke, the original Mickey. Kevin Dobson vacated the role last year. Showing photos of him will allow flashbacks to be shown of Maggie and Mickey for a reported upcoming storyline involving Maggie.

Frances will be 95 on December 9. Bill & Susan Hayes recently stated that they visit her sometimes at her assisted living facility, and she’s doing as well as can be expected at 95.
Ivan G’Vera has been away from the Hollywood scene since leaving Days. The stuff he’s acted in since then has usually been taped near his home in the Arizona/New Mexico area, as well as some acting he did when he went back to his native Czech Republic.
