I have some episodes on the DVR… need to catch up. Always nice to see Charles S. always liked him on Days.

Hans went through sinus surgery and they are waiting for the pathology on what they removed, but the doc told Amy he doesn’t think it’s cancer.
Last I heard they were headed home yesterday.
That’s good news – let’s hope he bounces back quickly and the surgery corrects the problem and nothing bad is found in the pathology report.

Days isn’t the only show on NBC to make political pot-shots. Law & Order (original) and SVU do it too.
If we want politics, we’ll watch news channels. Keep the politics OUT of our entertainment, please.

Hans has had a picc line put in and he’d hoped to head home today, but no such luck. They are planning some sinus surgery to try to correct a problem that is enabling the infection to get into his brain. Clinically he’s doing better, and at least they know what they are dealing with this time around, but he’s still got a long road to recovery ahead of him.
He’s one tough cookie. Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming. Hans and Amy know the SP family is praying for them, and they really appreciate it.

Weekends in Hospitals are filled with a whole lot of…not much. The 1st test on Hans’ heart didn’t find anything, so Mon. they will do a scan through his esophagus to see the back of his heart. Steady on antibiotics & nausea is better. Headaches still there, but I guess when your brain is full of Septic Emboli it hurts. Wifi in hospital hates me and poops out after 3 minutes.
I haven’t heard much news yet, but Hans is hanging in there. Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming, if it’s like last year, he’s got quite a fight ahead of him.

Amy has been posting updates on her FB. Last update last night was that he has 12 lesions (last year it was 10). He’s on IV antibiotics but he’s in a tremendous amount of pain.
He had something similar last year and nearly died (and nearly had whole-head radiation because most of the drs. thought it was cancer, and one doc thought it was infection – did a late-night brain biopsy and he was right – thank God)…
It was a long road to health again last year
He went to TX not too long ago (Feb maybe?) for his check-up and remained cancer-free at that point.
I think it’s the same strep infection as last time… better than cancer, but still no picnic.
He really needs our love and prayers, so please keep the prayers coming and I will post updates as I get them.

Isn’t it enough that there are commercials between the scenes? Now it’s permeated the actual show too.

I watched part of Wednesday’s show last night and that was her first scene I think – or at least her first one with Anna. (I got behind in my viewing so I deleted some eps and picked up this week).
To me she seemed *exactly* like the old Calliope – kind of eccentric and definitely over the top. Just the way I remember her. I thought to myself that for a character that hasn’t been seen in a long time, she was just the same as she always was.

I think it was lipstick. Later they showed Hope take a drink of water and they zoomed in on the lipstick mark left on the glass.
I haven’t watched lately but watched the last couple of days. What is with Hope? Is Princess Gina back or something?

From: Originally from Chelsea, Quebec, Canada. Now in the Atlanta are for the last 10 years.
Age: 42 – for another month!
Kids: A son who will be 16 in a couple of weeks and a daughter about to turn 18. Where did *that* time go?
Marital Status: Divorced after 15 years, still good friends with my ex-husband and we co-own a business together. Happily co-habitating with my gentleman companion of 2 1/2 years and life is good! (And my ex-h and my b’friend get along very well together – as weird as that might seem!)
Pets: 2 dogs (one’s Brian’s, one’s mine) – Holly & Sophie, a cat, Marvin (he’s my daughter’s) and 3 conures (parrots) who live at the shop: Pepe, Woodstock & Petrie. 2 reef aquariums at home, and a few "pet" fish etc., at the shop (ones we won’t sell).
Been watching Days: Since the early 80s. I guess Bo and Hope were the teen scene. I got hooked! Been watching on and off ever since. Even though I have maintained this board for about 12 years now, there have been long periods when I’ve tuned out, partly or even completely for months at a time. I always come back though – eventually!
