jesigirl22Participant
Some of the genetic testing can be expensive. Some insurance will pay for parts of it, but the co-pay is also high. I had the testing done this spring due to family history. My insurance covered the basic BRACa testing but not the more indepth testing.
I am glad they are doing this SL, hope it comes out better then Kate’s lung cancer story. My mom died of Lung Cancer after a 7 year battle. Her story (Kate’s) was not done well at all.
jesigirl22ParticipantWas wishing I could have FFed through those horrid scences, but for once I was watching it live. Why did the writers have to go this way?? Next thing you know, Eve will be miraculously pregnant. Why, oh, why?
jesigirl22ParticipantWas looking for a “like” button on your post. (Guess I spend too much time on Facebook.)
See my “rant” on another thread about the injection stuff. Always makes me cringe, as someone in the medical field (ok, I work with animals, but similar thing) it just bugs the pants off me when I see this kind of thing.jesigirl22ParticipantNot sure who gave it to him, Kristin or Susan but it had my usual medical pet peeve: they were not even close to the vein, it was not held off and the position was not even close to right. With the “placement” of that needle it was close to going right through to the other side of his arm! Most inter-muscular shots are not even done that way. Please at least try to make it look closer to real.
Rant over, thank you for listening.jesigirl22ParticipantBest thing I thought about the show was that they stayed with the same SL. Instead of going to an unrelated line, they stayed on the murder and its ripples.
Hope: on one side she says that she has to be with her family, then she is saying that SHE needs to investigate the crime since Rafe wants to be with his sister. In any other world, she would be kept SO far away from this one
Julie: totally agree with you Tflo, she was so out of line with her orders that she was barking to everyone. She seems to be the only one blinded by Nick’s “charms”. Even Gabi may have started to see the light.
One unanswered question for me: where was Marlena supposed to be? Wouldn’t she have been somewhere around town?
Other then those two, and their antics, thought it was a decent show.jesigirl22ParticipantFinally got to watch Friday’s episode and have to agree with everyone: what Jennifer (and Nicole) was wearing was totally out of season. I was cold watching Jennifer and Maggie. Looked out of kilter with Maggie in her winter outfit and Jennifer in that sleeveless number, then JJ comes in with his also season appropriate number.
Please put a jacket on, Jennifer!jesigirl22ParticipantDoes Theresa really not remember anything or is she faking to some degree? I keep thinking that she has some ulterior motive and will all of a sudden (at the most opportune moment) remember everything that happened. I don’t trust this “new” Theresa.
jesigirl22ParticipantBoth actors are doing a great job with this SL. I feel bad for both of them. I know that Nicole has done some awful things in her past, but she has always admitted to them, never denied them (once she was caught, of course). Here she is so strongly denying them, it is making me want to cry for her. Why can’t Eric believe her? Or even doubt his fuzzy memory (I know the SL is making him do it).
jesigirl22ParticipantIMO Anne’s actions are not those of the HR director. Isn’t that what her position is? She is so far off, she should be fired. Marlena was on with her and so was Daniel. She was complaining about Daniel bringing a bad rep to the hospital? What about not firing the (non-essential) staff member who just ODed?
jesigirl22ParticipantHave not finished watching Friday, but one thing I thought was strange was Dan calling 911 and telling them that it is the efficiency apartments and then we see all these doors to other rooms. And that shower??!! Never saw one like that in any small apartment I know. Way too nice.
jesigirl22ParticipantI thought that also: why did they have a surgical patient wit his head up? He should be lying flat?
The CPR scene was silly. Could barely tell what they were doing. Then she declares him gone after only what seemed like 30 seconds? I always thought they tried the paddles a few time, not just once. When Daniel did use the paddles he held them on Chad for what seemed like an eternity. Charge, clear, then remove (am I right), not hold, hold, gone.
Oh, well, we would be more surprised if they got it right the first time.jesigirl22Participant“Joseph” is one of my favorite Broadway shows! And the Media Theatre is near me! Double bonus. Might have to get tickets for one of the shows. That would be a great experience for my kids. It is showing during winter break from school.
I still remember the duet Kyle did with Nadia many years ago. That was incredible.jesigirl22Participantnot sure if others are going through. Just adding my post to help.
jesigirl22ParticipantHere in the Philly area, time is changing to noon starting on Monday. Not that bad (a least it is not 1 am). But isn’t this why we have our DVRs?
jesigirl22ParticipantAs I am watching this episode I am thinking the same thing. Why did it take Sami and Kate to figure this out and the “real” detectives did not think about this scenario.
