I know it is not blood, but isn’t Daniel now Victor’s step-son since Maggie is his Mother? Victor loves Daniel like a son (most of the time) and he can’t stand Chloe, so as soon as Victor finds out (if he ever does) watch out Chloe!
jesigirl22ParticipantThe one thing I noticed from the "notary" is that he did not even check to see who he was witnessing. Maybe that was supposed to have occured off camera. I did notice him putting an emobsser away. Kind of funny, since in PA we don’t even have to use one. We don’t need to know what is in the document to be signed, we need to make sure of the identity of the person and that they are signing willingly. But if I were the notary in this situation (being a notary for almost 10 years) I would have packed my bags and left: the tension in that room was so thick that I would suspect that someone was not signing the document willingly. Even the way Will hesitated to actually sign, would make ME hesitate to put my stamp on the document. Also, he (the notary) was watching from across the room, through several people! The notary should have been closer to Will to watch him sign. Granted I do more refinance loan closings then custody documents, the principal is still the same: all parties involved need to be truly willing to sign documents. Sorry if I repeated myself, but I do feel strongly about this kind of thing.
But this is Days and we need to suspend our belief and knowledge in what is truly right and wrong.
jesigirl22ParticipantOne of the things that a Notary does make sure the person signing is who he/she claims to be. Also to see that the person signing is doing it willingly. If we as Notaries Public believe that a person is signing under duress, is not signig on his/her own, or is not sure what they are signing, we can and should stop the signing.
I have not watched the episode yet, so I am not sure exactly how this went. Will watch it this evening and see what happens.
jesigirl22ParticipantI was watching that episode and started thinking the same thing. I had 2 C-sections and know that the next day I did not want to get out of bed, let alone stand up and pick up anything. Shouldn’t they have kept her in the hospital more then a few hours also?? Especially since it was almost a DIY operation.
jesigirl22ParticipantI am west of Philly and just got power back a short time ago. Fortunatly we were only out for about 15 hours. Had a lot of rain and wind, branches down and stuff like that. At least none of my trees came down. Hope everyone else is safe.
jesigirl22ParticipantWow, thought it was just me noticing all of the fashbacks again. There were so many the other day, I started having a flashback of several years ago when every other scene had a flashback attached to it.
jesigirl22ParticipantHow tall is this building that the party was in? If the building was not that tall (but this is Salem), couldn’t Jack have actually survived a fall of several stories with some injury? I guess this is all Da Plot that we need to deal with.
jesigirl22ParticipantMy daughter takes Karate at a fantastic studio and they have a main room where the classes are held, two waiting areas for parents, and a reception desk. The kids (and adults) are not allowed to practice in the front lobby, in fact, they can only practice in the dojo. They greet people in the front room and the instructors can talk to parents in the waiting area.
The setting for the "spa and martial arts studio" are totally absurd!
jesigirl22ParticipantThank you, 534dogs! I was thinking that when I watched yesterdays episode: Lexi pulling Sami and Rafe asides "come over here and let me tell you"??! Should have been: "let’s go to my office" or at least somewhere a little more private. And about the panic she is causing with the cysts. I think at some point, every woman has cysts. I had a scan several years ago and the doctors found some cysts, they are still there. My doctor had no concern about them right now. Besides the fact that this is a soap, why does everything have to be so dramatic?
jesigirl22ParticipantI have to agree with you there. If we are so distracted as viewers can you imagine how the male actors being so up close and personal feel? "The Twins" are begging to be free.
jesigirl22ParticipantI thought about that a short time ago. It would really add to some of the new maturity that we think we have been seeing from Sami: if she were to put aside her differences with Nicole and they could work together toward a common goal (without killing each other).
jesigirl22ParticipantI think that it will be better to have Chad as the gay character as we have more invested in Will at this point. I think it will challenge Stephano in different ways to find out his new son is "different". Plus, doesn’t Sami have enough on her plate at this time?
jesigirl22ParticipantWould’nt it be kind of nice to see Nicole and Sami working together on this to find out the truth? Granted Nicole has lost more, in one sense. But, both ladies were taken advantage of and lied to by EJ and R-2. I think that this could be an interesting way to go, but of course, won’t happen.
jesigirl22ParticipantAnd Nicole seems stunned that the door was locked! Must be the first time in Days history that a character was stopped by a locked door.
jesigirl22ParticipantYou mean when they have shoved Jen and Dan down our throats for so long, that they have gotten together and are happy and then Jack will come back and Jen will have to decide between the two? Is that when it would be convenient to the story line?
