I don’t like carrying a purse, but with young kids, I have to. Let’s see on any given day, my purse has: wallet, phone, assorted pens, a few pencils, various recipts, my name tag from work, a small bottle of hand sanitizer, a couple of kids fruit snack, several hair bands, lolipops, and what ever trash the 7 year old might have put in there since she does not want to hold it until she finds the trash can.
Do you think the characters carrying giant purses goes back to when the are trying to hide a pregnancy not being written into the storyline, you know: pregnancy over, now what do we do with it type of thing?
jesigirl22ParticipantWhen I was watching Dr. Baker "pour" the alcohol down Brady’s throat, all I could think of was that if he was truly out cold like they wanted us to believe, he would be drowning. Can an uncouncious (sorry about the spelling) person really swallow what is being poured down his throat? Does everybody have such little faith in Brady that they all assume that he was out drinking and partying? I know that ass/u/me disease again.

Or they will just not have him appear and get brief mentions every now and then, like so many other characters who just seem to disappear.
jesigirl22ParticipantI was half awake when I heard the news this morning. Although we have not seen Gran onscreen for many years, her presence could somehow be felt. She was one of the few constants in this rollercoaster of a show. She will truly be missed.
jesigirl22ParticipantI have been watching Days since I was in college, aroung 1988 or so. We on our dorm floor watched Santa Barbara and Days. I started watch Days all the time when SB was canceled in Philly first, then the rest of the country. I have stuck with it through bad plots and recasts. When my husband and I are wacthing another show (in primetime) and I say "wow that person looks familier" his joke is "was s/he on DOOL". Now he even is starting to recognize some of the former Days actors.
By the way, keep up the great work with this website! I have been reading it forever, and am now happy that I can post!
jesigirl22ParticipantDuring this season of thanks, I give thanks to Jenn for opening the board to everyone. I too have been lurking on the board for more years then I care to remember. There have been many topics that I wanted to comment on, but have been unable. Now I can! I have enjoyed reading this board and feel like I know so many of the people who have posted. Hopefully the story lines will get better soon.
Thank you again, Jenn!
