I really enjoyed the whole show and even teared up at parts.

Not sure if I’m reading more into things than I’m supposed to, but I’m really realizing none of Gabi’s support system is there in the hospital with her, and nearly all of Will’s support system is there. Is this to show that no matter how good/bad his family may get along, they can come together when they need to and they’ll be there for the baby? Incentive to put Will’s name on the birth certificate?

Also noted Marlena was there and also separated from John. It’s been mentioned so much in the past that she was helping John and was never there for Sami through Sydney’s birth/death/kidnapping, etc. Does she have time for her family now that John isn’t in her life and does that fit into what Kristen was talking to Eric about the other day?

It was so nice to see a family so happy about a birth. It seemed like a genuine family moment and I can’t recall that there was such a happiness surrounding a birth on Days in a long time. Something that can be fairly common in real life (in comparison to most family events on this show), yet so refreshing to see here.

Now that we know the writers can provide real entertainment, it’s going to be difficult to sit through some of the long drawn out stuff over the next few months.

This post is nearly two weeks old and the envelope is still making it’s rounds.

the other day when she and Daniel were arguing.  There was one scene she was crying and seemed a lot more natural.  But then the scene cut and the next scene she was completely different.  But today she was good, too.  And I liked what she was wearing.  Interesting point about her acting ‘wooden’.  It would be nice if that were true. 

On an unrelated note, since when are Nicole and Gabi friends?  I don’t remember them ever talking before.  What am I forgetting?

I don’t think it’s because I want Nadia gone, I think it’s because of the hope this storyline will end.  She seems to have only been brought back to prolong this storyline that seemed to start with Jack coming back, continued with Nicole and now has moved on to Chloe.  This years long process of tearing Jennifer and Danial apart, a couple that was barely together to begin with.

I watched Nadia on Dirty Soap and she didn’t seem happy with her prostitute story line, I can’t imagine she’s thrilled with this story either.  She seems like a really sweet woman in real life.  I wouldn’t mind her staying on the show, or coming back in the future, I would just love for her to have a realistic character.  This is the first time I really remember Chloe doing "bad" things to start out with instead of being lured into it by someone else.  Or as a cover up for a lie.  This story doesn’t seem to fit her past personality as it was written.  With her past issues with depression and cancer, I wouldn’t mind her coming back with mental illness or a brain tumor that changed her personality.  The likelihood of that being written is probably the same as her wearing sweats while she’s home playing with Parker.

get over the feeling today that Brady and John are in on taking down Kristen together. I think John is being mean to Marlena so he can get together with Kristen to take her down. Brady stopping Marlena from going into the coffee shop the other day while Kristen was holding John’s hand, Brady going ballistic on Marlena out of the blue when she didn’t do anything. I think John and Brady are trying to make it look as real as possible to Kristen and unfortunately that means hurting Marlena right now. But I think John knows his true feelings are known well enough to Marlena that their marriage can survive his his current b.s.

is using the same line over and over again.  They keep saying I tipped my hand, or showed my cards too soon, etc.  I feel like some version of that phrase has been used by either Sami, Kristen or Chloe about 10 times in the last month.
