The show was interrupted due to the non-vote on healthcare. When the show came back on the neighbor was apologizing for pulling a gun on Nicole and Nicole looked upset. What happened??
Everyone says how bad of a person Deimos is, but to me, he has never done anything worse than anyone else on the show. Today, he finally seemed truly evil. It’s a little annoying that he is constantly kidnapping and poisoning people, but I actually was intrigued by how creepy he was today.
Philip, Rex and Cassie (is that her name?). I’m not sure how Eduardo would know about the twins, they haven’t been mentioned in years. Especially if he doesn’t even know who Chloe is, or how much Kate hates her.
…in a while on this show. It actually seemed celebratory and fun, lots of the cast was there. Their own kids were there! It was casual, but I would expect that for a (what number was this?) wedding. They even threw the bouquet!
why Nicole didn’t offer to give up Deimos to begin with. She’s always wanted a baby, she has one, and the only thing standing in her way is her boyfriend? Really? Once she has custody, she can do whatever she wants. Also, I thought giving Maggie temporary custody might be in the cards. She’s Parker and Holly’s grandmother.
I did actually think the dinner was romantic. A rare romantic moment on Days when they’re connecting and not just jumping into bed together. I actually thought that scene was done well. I figured any minute they were going to ruin it with Gabby walking in, but they didn’t. (I would like to see a little more eye make-up on Abby).
I was actually pleased when Abby came back and Chad was angry. He didn’t just forgive her immediately. Also nice that he’s currently being honest with Abby and Gabby and not sneaking around. I did start to think he was laying it on a little thick though, with comments like "I’m done with people that fake their own death" or something like that. A dig towards her after he found out about Stefano. She is (or was) mentally ill. He knew how bad off she was before she disappeared. I understand him being angry, but he was being a little cruel. Not sure where the sweet spot is between that and Jennifers coddling.
Paul went to the cafe with Marlena to "protect" her and when they heard the shots Marlena said "you follow Stefano and I’ll go after the shooter", and Paul just agrees. Also, when Marlena was chasing the shooter and started to pretend to turn around and walk away to fool the shooter and Anna ran out. Marlena didn’t even get all the way turned around before Anna ran. So dumb.
Cracked up too, when the ISA agent, with her terrible accent, said I’m so glad you’re following up on this. Yeah, two P.I.’s, a therapist and a police officer from the midwest are following up. The ISA must really be taking it seriously.
thinking the same thing! Why would they leave the bomb squad on "clean up" when they have a live bomb and people at risk? Not to mention a high profile detective is requesting help! Loved Marlena today when Hope told her she could leave and she just looked over and said "Jen" and high tailed it out of there. I had to rewind and watch that again!
Also confused why the three escapees are pretty much able to walk all over town and meet up with John and Deimos, etc., multiple times and nobody does anything and Steve can find him in three minutes flat. A lot of holes, but at least things are moving along and there’s a story that’s involving most of the cast. Love seeing everyone work together and seeing Abe and Roman out there a little more.
And why is Rafe just sitting around doing nothing, waiting for the phone to ring? And Hope was just volunteering at the PUB collecting food and keeping an eye on Caroline? Seems like there would be more for them to be doing. Was really hoping Aiden would come to Hope’s rescue and get taken out by the bomb, but no such luck.
They said Gabby and Will’s baby (Adriana?) is four?
And John said something to Brady the other day about his wedding to Theresa, that "a little over a year ago, they wouldn’t have thought it was possible". Were they referring to Theresa conking John over the head or the fact that Brady was in a car accident and almost died? The way they said it, it sounded like the car accident, but that was only New Years.
