I thought the song was nice, something different. This late into the season, it’s nice to hear a song I haven’t heard a million times already this year. I also liked her voice, it has kind of a modern folk sound to it.
make a point to say how long she would have to work before she could become a detective? And what was the story with the Miami PD vouching for her? I thought she was a brand new cop?
Bo was after Stefano when he left town (which I’m sure Stefano knew/found out), Stefano brought Aiden to town to seduce Hope and eventually kill her for money, I think Stefano and Andre were behind Malcolm and the torture and drugging of Bo. I think Stefano and Andre are after the Caroline Brady medication money. Stefano is in dire need of money for some reason, even before Sami took his money, he was trying to get Chad to marry Abigail for some land. Which is confusing because now they don’t want Chad to marry Abigail for the land, which seems like a guarantee, they want him to go after Belle, just in case. Anyway I hope all this resolves into the final death of Stefano (which I hate to see, but has to happen) and Andre. Then Chad and possibly EJ/Sami, end up with the Dimera empire.
I thought Hope told someone (Belle? Jennifer?) that she lost her gun in the fight with the guy that was killed. But after he was killed, I thought she put her gun away in her case.
After seeing your comment, I started looking at the actors on twitter. Looks like Jen Lilley has a movie tomorrow night on Lifetime, The Spirit of Christmas. I’m interested to see her in a role different than Theresa.
since his first day, but when Abby walked into the hospital and saw him there holding little Thomas, that did it for me. I’ve never really been into the Abby/Chad pairing until now. Have a feeling that’s all over today, though. Assuming Andre is going to hypnotize him into going after Belle.
Watching her on screen the other day was the first time in a long time I’ve really wanted to fast forward. I have no interest in her. I think I was watching when she was on before, but I don’t remember any of her storyline. Plus it’s very odd for an actor to portray a character, come back as a different character, then show up and she’s the first character again. I guess it happened with Adrienne, too, but that I didn’t mind so much. Adrienne was much more of a major character than Bonnie or Taylor or Ava. It’s starting to feel like the show packed in a year of excitement into a few months and now it’s leveling out.
Plus, do Hope and Abby even know about what happened to each other? Seems like they could have something to talk about between Aiden and Ben. Maybe help each other through a bit? Grieve together?
the characters of Philip and Brady are too similar. I liked that they put a scene with them together right off the bat to kind of differentiate their personalities. I don’t mind Philip being a little sleazy, but I did not care for his hair. It looks dirty and unkempt. It’s hard to picture him in a suit and mansion with that hair.
Kirsten Storms and Martha Madson had a baby. She’s also way too old to be their kid. Jason was very awkward with her, I thought, trying to treat her like a daughter. When I googled it, she was born in 2005, so she should only be about 10. Not that much of a stretch for the show, but I think it’s weird for the actors.
They’ve been sailing this whole time. When did they move to Maine? Wasn’t Hope supposed to visit them in Tahiti or something when she got stuck with Aiden at his place on the Sound?

Very similar to Sami’s reaction. It made me wonder if Sami and Hope will team up to finish off the Dimera’s.
Also, what’s up with Hope’s vision of this almost evil sounding Bo? Seems very odd so far.

of Hope’s that everyone keeps mentioning? Jen stopped by a couple times, but Hope is alone most of the time. Bo is running around town like a crazy person. He doesn’t stay in one spot for more than five minutes. Kayla was constantly calling Bo to come back to the hospital when he was supposed to be telling Hope he was dying. Where are Doug and Julie? Where’s Maggie? Why isn’t Kayla stopping by to see Hope? Why isn’t Steve?

And everyone just caves to the kids when they don’t want to stay at Jen’s house? Nobody says that Hope just can’t take care of a house and two kids right now. And Chase is supposed to smoothly transition into Bo moving into Hope’s bedroom? A lot of questions not currently being answered. At the same time, I’m loving the show right now. I think I’ve had tears in my eyes nearly every show since Will died. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this invested in the show.
