I remember many years ago someone who was after Marlena did kill themselves.
Then another mob type guy killed himself when his daughter was killed. I think
Brandon was with her (don’t quote me)
Of course this was not a storyline they pursued after the fact.
It would be interesting to make it part of the show and people might feel
remorse over how they treated her even though she brought all this on herself.Sounds like they are ready to “out” him and Will is the man to do it I guess.
Why did Will take off his ring? Rather interesting plot line and if Will writes
the story, will it cause the rift that knocks Sonny and Will apart? Seems like
it is heading that way….People knocked Melanie for the way she smiles….
Serena with her eyes…….
Other members have been criticized for their mannerisms and such….
I say let’s just enjoy their performances and not petty appearances….
The show has been in a funk lately with plots and such….Let’s try to
find a few positives about the show we have grown to love….
I have watched it since 1968 continuously and maybe there have been
some better acting performances than others……
I know some characters are irksome and some we love, which is what
keeps us coming back for more…It is a healthy addiction and if Days were
ever cancelled I would likely get rid of my cable because that is pretty
well the only show I watch….
Even a 60 year old guy like myself appreciates those sands in the hourglass!I kind of felt that way but think there has to be more. I could see these two nincompoops kidnaping her or terrorizing her or something. It almost seems too trite and as we know soaps do not resolve things that fast and efficiently. Seems to more this may be the minor part of a major storyline…..
I remember way back when many people on the board were against Melanie. I noted that I liked the actress and her portrayal. I still do and it will be interesting to see what mess she has gotten herself into with that purse full of cash…
Let the fun and games begin!Paige has become clueless to lies for one thing, so that leaves her mother with even bigger fish to fry.
Is this genuine or just another sneaky ploy to break up her daughter and JJ forever.
Why do the bad guys always have to win on these soaps, and why are people written so naïve that they
would believe a skanky girl (forget her name) that was paid off by Eve.
Salem was not meant to have any happy couples at all obviously.I found it interesting the children were doing Ring Around The Rosey and when they said “ashes to ashes we all fall down,” it cut back to the Morgue. That was a clever plotting and yes it was emotional. Including Stefano who moments before was basically disowning him and tell EJ how useless he was. He was reduced to tears as well.
I know no one ever dies in soap operas so unless this is an EJ clone he looked pretty dead on that table…A pharmaceutical rep would not have every drug known to mankind in his bag. He would get samples and he would travel from one hospital or doctor’s office to another. It seems the only place he goes to is Salem Hospital. That in itself is ludicrous. But then again so are the writers with their inane plots….
I am kind of thinking that with the Stalker storyline, Ann and or Theresa are going to factor into this as well. If they find out he is stalking Jennifer you can be sure they will try and help him any way they can. I am also thinking as what happened with Melanie and her imprisonment, somehow it will blow up in one of their faces and maybe Dan will be their savoir.
Some storylines are very obvious and this one seems headed into a predictable direction. And when Eve Donovan comes will she be as bad as Theresa or try and set her on the straight and narrow?
Least this all keeps us guessing.
I am thinking amnesia of some sort from the trauma and he wiped the incident from his mind. That would make sense. Or the three could be charged with attempted murder. Where was he all this time is the question?
Their visit to Salem proved nothing….Why did they come at all?
If they had made her reform and be a decent human being you could have said it was worth their time. She would have been the same without their visit, still manipulative.
She does play her role well. I know we hate her and Anne with pure passion, but soaps thrives on the bad guys. Imagine if every horrible person we hated was kicked off the show, then there would be no show, everybody just sitting around smug and happy and we would certainly get bored with everyone being nicey nice.

Okay I retract that and say they make her look like like a plain generic person…..Does that sound better??
I think the actress is quite attractive. They had her looking like an old school marm first but you knew beneath that was a most attractive lady. I think she is one of the more attractive women on the show. I think Abby is stunning as well. Sorry to disagree but then again this is from a male perspective. I go by her smile and her personality that is beginning to shine through.
The entire premise of course is ludicrous. A sound man or whatever he was would never leave his post and have a stranger working with expensive equipment, possibly ruining it. The writers definitely suspend disbelief so many times here.
I agree that Victor should have confronted Kristen but that would have taken away the dramatic effect as he wanted Brady to see the real Kristen and he did try and get him to view it but Brady was too busy and had to get to the church.
The fallout from this will be immense with Marlena seen as horrible just like Victor and Eric will be going through a crisis of faith like never before.
Still it was fun to watch the shocked looks on the churchgoers and how Kristen tried to spin this like it was a fake, while EJ who knew the truth realized the complexity of the situation.
Still great acting and expressions all the way around. November sweeps brings out the best in everyone and the plot as contrived as it may have seemed.
