Yep the start of the never ending Austin/Sami/Carrie/Lucas that by the time they finally got AusDumb and Carrie together, nobody cared anymore. So Carrie went on after all that to cheat on him for Mike and ride off on the sunset. Then AusDumb did the only sensible thing, he actually got together with Sami. Still trying to process that one. Austin still is the dumbest character with Brady a close second.

Yeah maybe he did remember about Phillip’s prosthetic leg, since the last time they had him on the show with the last actor to play the role, he was shown playing basketball with shorts on and two very real looking legs. lol

This writing team is one of the worst around, and this guy used to be the head writer for General Hospital, so I would have figured he would be good since they always seem to be credited with having a great writing staff over the years. It’s really pathetic how bad it is.

Yeah I seem to recall that he was in a couple of shows on Fox after he left Days that didn’t last more than a couple episodes. Must’ve had bad luck.

I might be in the minority, but I liked Jenn and Peter, I was hoping the writers would have actually went the road they seemed to be going in that Peter was going to turn good for Jennifer. But of course, they just had him turn to his “DiMera side” and then that was that.

Mark Valley was a good actor and did a good job, however, he wasn’t Jack. It was like a completely different character named Jack Deveraux. He and his replacement (the awful Steve Wilder) turned Jack into more of a hero character, tough guy character. Matt Ashford never played him as this. So it wasn’t believable.

There never was any confirmation of the supposed Melissa Reeves/Jason Brooks affair going on behind the scenes that lead to Missy’s abrupt departure. It’s interesting how Peter has very rarely ever been mentioned, and he’s still alive as far as I’m aware of.

Wonder if Melissa Reeves look a like Stephanie Cameron got any consideration to coming back to play Jennifer again. Remember she stepped in after Missy took an abrupt leave of absence in 1996 and stayed on for another year. Awful actress but she’s really the only other known Jennifer other than Missy.

It amazes me when there is knocking involved since most places in Salem leave the doors wide open.

Not to mention this Jack/Kate doesn’t even make sense. Kate and Victor were the reasons why Jack left town back in 1993 when they blackmailed him by exposing he was the one who polluted the area by their home that caused baby Abigail to get sick. She’s also the reason why Jennifer’s mother went crazy cause of her affair with Bill that produced Lucas. So what a joke. I mean I know Jack’s one of the only guys left in town that Kate hasn’t been with, but come on!

From what I’ve read, Missy Reeves doesn’t keep her political comments to herself and a bunch of fellow Days actors were refusing to work with her. That’s the rumor anyway but I can see the Tennessee rumor being true too. I also read that it’s very temporary, thank goodness.

As dumb as these storylines are, I’ll take Orpheus and Clyde anyday over Chad/Abby, Gabi, Jake, Sami, Nicole and Brady/Kristen.

I’ve never been a fan of the Trask character, however, I just don’t understand again where Ron C. is going with these storylines. So the way it seems, he wants us the fans to think of Trask as the bad guy here and we are rooting for Kristen? So it’s ok for Kristen to murder Hayley among other many, many crimes. She was just masquerading not too long ago with a Nicole mask, never did any time for kidnapping Nicole and impersonating her. Which brings me to another point, why is Kristen freaking out about jail time? Have any DiMera’s done serious jail time? areshould she be worried, she hasn’t been convicted for any other crimes. Also, on Monday’s show, why would Jack and Jennifer be concerned and hoping the best for Kristen? She killed their son J.J.’s girlfriend which lead to him being back on drugs!! This just makes no sense at all that Ron C and the other writers are trying to make Kristen into this heroine now.

Brady might be the most dumb character in the history of the show. I used to think it was Austin but Brady I think has taken the crown with all his stupid decisions.

My question to Ron C is why he even brought back such an unpopular character like Jan in the first place? The Shawn-D in the cage and Jan being raped by Nicole’s dad on the island are two of the most unpopular storylines of all time (rivaling The Garden of Eden and Angelica/Bonnie/Hattie a couple summers ago) so why even bring her back in the first place?
