What about that hug and akward conversation between Kristen and Marlena? It’s like these writers now don’t have a clue about the history here. This would NEVER happen between these two. I’ve mentioned before, are we supposed to be cheering on Kristen and Brady? Why he or anyone else would ever give her the time of day is beyond me. So becoming a mother changed her? So let’s just forget all the crimes and evil acts she’s inflicted over the years. She should be serving time for so much more other than Haley’s death. Speaking of Haley, Kristen making a comment on how she understands Melinda being upset over that, well Kristen if you were in Melinda’s shoes you know there would be hell to pay.
Keep in mind that at one point the Deveraux family lived in England, so maybe they can say that she crossed paths with her back then? But that wouldn’t explain why Abby doesn’t recognize/seem to know her
I find it hard to believe this was the original story for Gwen. All we know is she was with Jake in Philadelphia, now all of a sudden we are to believe that she somehow just happened to have a grudge with Abigail?
I find it hard to believe this was the original intention of the Gwen character. Just doesn’t add up.
Which is why I don’t understand also why people in Salem are shocked when someone dead is really alive. Speaking of the DiMeras, I’ve been curious as to how this Shin person is in charge of who runs DiMera. Did Stefano leave this is his will? Why we he give that much power over his family to an outsider? There never was any Shin before Joe Mascolo passed away,
The problem is, is Ava’s never been portrayed as a mafia bad ass. She’s just been a love sick/jealous/obsessed with Steve and Kayla mess. Speaking of Ava, this also leads me to a Princess Gina question. So, the REAL Princess Gina was in love with “Father John” who was who John was before Stefano turned him into Roman. Ava was in love with RoboSteve/Steve The Pawn while under his influence during his “dead/missing years.” Yet, they both wanted/obsessed over John and Steve even though neither versions of this Steve or John are the versions of Steve and John they love/obsess over. Gina loved “Father John”, not John Black. Ava loved “Robo Patch”, not Steve “Patch” Johnson. Neither John or Steve have memories of their alter egos, so it’s just dumb.
My question about Ava returning is once again, why are the writers bringing back unpopular characters? Who wants Bonnie back? Who wants Jan back? Who wanted Ava back? They aren’t unpopular because the actors make them unpopular (and they are all good actresses) it’s just completely unpopular characters. Also, it’s getting beyond ridiculous with the returning for the dead. It’s a part of soaps, but this lately is beyond insanity. Just lazy unoriginal writing. We need something for Steve and Kayla…I know! Let’s bring Ava back! Sounds good! How about a new story?
Actually, it wasn’t just a rape. EJ was going to have Lucas killed if Sami didn’t have sex with him.
Yeah I was waiting for Justin to list all her past dirty deeds, but of course we don’t go down that road. This is why I have no desire to have Sami on the show. The only time I liked her character was when they finally decided to pair her with Lucas. I actually liked and believed in that short lived romance. That all was ruined because fans for whatever reason (I still don’t get it) wanted Sami and E.J. together. She can’t leave soon enough
Supposedly she left first because her Aunt was missing or passed away? Then her father just passed away since taping stopped. There’s also been reports that she was not well liked by a majority of cast & crew behind the scenes and was difficult to work with. So it sounds like it was a mutual parting of the ways. Last I heard she was going to be on recurring and just make sporatic appearances for now.
Money hasn’t ever been the issue with Alison Sweeney and the show. She chose to leave to concentrate on family and other projects. I did read that KA’s departure freed up money to bring Rafe and Gabi back. By the way, what was up with Camila going on the warpath on her social media at the beginning of this year about her leaving, when it turned out she was in fact leaving. What was the reasoning behind her and Rafe suddenly being dropped? This was such an awful way to write these two longtime characters off the show.
Speaking of Titan, has it ever been explained how this Shin person is in charge? Did Stefano leave it for him? If so, why? Doesn’t make much sense to me that he wouldn’t keep it in the family.
That’s just the problem. They have had no story. All they do is have sex or Ciara is trying to prove his innocence or that he’s changed. It’s all so boring, as I said in another post they had to resort to bringing back Claire and Eve just to rehash the same old, same old with them.
Just no originality at all and also just goes to show that there’s no storyline for Ben and Cierra. They bring back Claire and run through that all over again and now Eve is back with the same old same old.
